I'm up for giving this a try again this year. Hopefully, life won't go to heck in a handbasket this year as it did the last time I signed up. I will try to do 4-8 a month.
Hey Debbie. Welcome back. Eh, life happens. I've added you to the list and the database. Please pm me your snail mail for future prize opportunities. Thanks!
I am just checking in. I have I think 5 or 6 done. I have the album started but will post them all up once they are all done. I did all of those last night. I am planning on finishing the rest either tomorrow or Monday.

You gotta go post this on our last month thread... November 2012.

Im in for 6 cards a month from Jan-October. ( and Ive made 1 so far and its not in the gallery yet)
I promised I would stay out of galleries until my internet recycles (billing) on the 10th. Every page that loads counts against me. I have internet through Verizon no.. it is tons faster, but I am not longer unlimited usage...I have a feeling I am in for a day of gallery gazing! LOL

Please check the list on post #4 to make sure your name is on there. If not, PM me so I can get it corrected.
Also check your pledge #. If you aren't sure how many, low-ball it and go for the minimum. If you get more done that's just a bonus. Remember, this to make your holiday EASIER... not more stressful.
We are at over 100 people! That is just awesome. That is 100 of you who will be prepared when Christmas 2012 rolls around.
Merry Christmas!

I have crafted for many years since I was young. However the crafts I did as a child consisted of painting wooden pieces, making sweatshirts for my mom using the iron on's and tulip/puffy paint. I use to make photo albums with fabric, batting and ribbons. In high school got into cross stitch.
It was not until 1998 until I went to my first Stampin Up Party that a coworker of mine had at her house that I was hooked. I first learned the technique using a stamp with markers and huffing on it. I eventually got into scrapbooking in 1999 or 2000.
As to my name yes I have had the name for many years or a form of the name. I am the only girl out of five kids. My mom has been gone for going on 15 in February. So the user name really has been in honor of my mom.
I like to sign up. I have been making cards but haven't really posting them to the gallery I will make 5 cards a month for this challenge. Thanks and Happy New Year!
I am signing up again this year for 3 to 6 cards a month. Saw a request at the top of this thread asking me to PM my snail mail for the drawing. Not sure what PM means and how to do that. Can someone help me out?

I think Vikki was asking if you would please tell us your first name so we didn't have to call you by your screen name.
I did all of those crafts too! It wasn't all that long ago I ran across some Daisy Kingdom printed fabric I had bought for that purpose many moons ago. Needless to say, it went in the Goodwill box.

If you click on Kelly's screen name ScrappinCEO it will give you a drop down of choices, one of which will be to send her a PM. PM stands for Private Message. That way you can send her your addy in case you will one of the challenge prizes and only she can see it.

Welcome to the group Mayapple. I've added you to the list.
Cute pooch
To PM someone, if you click once on their name, you'll get a drop-down menu that gives you options. Click Send Private Message and it will take you to a new mail window. Their name will already be in the TO: spot. Just treat it like a standard email.
I've got to do this again, it worked so well for me last year. Might need to revise numbers though, had a few too many (or is that less to make this year?)

I've been thru all those crafts, too!! Daisy Kingdom!! I used to make my daughters' clothes with the patterns. fabric and yes, the iron ons! My daughters had a t-shirt or sweatshirt for every holiday!!! LOL
I wish I could find some Daisy Kingdom for my little granddaughter!
Well, ladies, I am totally exhausted! I spent all of Friday and yesterday making a bunch of cards with a girlfriend. I got so many birthday cards, christmas cards and even some sympathy cards done that I think I'm 3 months a head of the game! I will post the christmas cards tomorrow in the Christmas threads and the birthday/sympathy cards in the Occasions thread tomorrow. Now all I want to do is crawl into bed and get some sleep!
Shelley, sounds like you had the cardmaking marathon that I had planned for this weekend. I got 2 birthday cards made. I ended up doing laundry and cleaning. Tomorrow I need to get the decorations packed up. I'm hoping to get some more cards made tomorrow.
It was a lot of fun Debbie but boy am I paying for it today!! I think all I did today was plant my rear on the sofa and watch tv! But I'm very pleased with what I got accomplished. It's a great feeling to know I ave most of my cards made for the year.
