Today's the first day of winter and it looks like it here in northcentral Montana. Just yesterday we were wondering if we'd get any snow. Rightnow it's coming down in big, fluffy flakes and sticking.
If anyone's traveling for the holidays, please keep safe.
Squeeee!! I'll be right over!! I live in sunny California and I've been wanting a white Christmas my whole life!!
I haven't gotten my cards done in time since I stopped being "in charge" of this challenge several years ago!!! I NEED this challenge for next year! PLEASE sign me up for 5 cards per month.
Thanks!!!
I'm back again for my third year! I love this challenge. I would never get Xmas cards done if it wasn't for this challenge. I will do 4 Christmas Cards a month.
Hi ladies, I'll jump in too, (after my mad rush to do a dozen cards last night) i need a little bit of self discipline to keep on top of things. I'll set myself a goal of 5 a month to start with. Thanks!
Okay last year, I signed up in January... for 6 cards per month through October... ( and I had made a half a dozen in December that were made in advance and I did not claim them..) so, I have two left over when it was all said and done. so, i think that is a good number for me.
Im in for 6 cards a month from Jan-October. ( and Ive made 1 so far and its not in the gallery yet)

had a fantastic time in 2011 and it was great to have a stash of cards to send at christmass time. I needed extras so this year sign me up for 5 per month.
Thanks for all in the inspiration and encouragement through the year!
Oh good... I also need to learn to be CAS with Christmas cards so I can actually mail them as letters instead of parcels!!!
Hey! I resemble that remark!
( shoot, I had some I mailed to neighbors ( no joke asked hubs to deliver them since they were ah on the 3-d ish side... he could not make time, so I slapped 3 stamps on them... neighbors got them with .44 cents postage due )

Twas the night before Christmas, I’m glued to the tree.
I’m wondering what Santa brought just for me.
Could it be cardstock or inkpads or lace?
Or some stamps, I said, with a smile on my face.
And that’s when I heard him……
“Hi Santa, ” I said
He replied, “You know….good girls should be in their beds”.
“I know I should Santa,and now I’ve been caught.
But I was just so excited to see what you brought.”
“Well, let’s take a look in this room where you work”.
He shook his head quickly, and left with a jerk.
I heard him exclaim as he put it in gear.
“You’ve got enough crap,
I’ll see you next year!”
I hear you Alison. I mail practically all my Christmas cards, so I make them all flat, not necessarily CAS. They can still have a few layers, just as long as the embellishments aren't dimensional.
It's a green Christmas for us too......and I'm in Canada!i

I can not wait to show my hubby this one! He'll burst with laughter!
OK Stacy (JBgreendawn) and a friend, who informed me yesterday that she save all of the cards she receives, and wanted to know why I stopped making my cards have convinced me that I need to sign up for this. I haven't made my Christmas cards in several years; well actually I haven't made many cards at all in several years
So sign me up for 3-4 a month for Jan-Nov.

Love it. Shared it with my Quacker ladies. I know we can all relate.
I'm in for my 2nd year! 10 a month. I ended up making over 150 cards this year. Whew! It was so nice to just have to slap a stamp on them in November. I'm looking forward to next year and even more stunning cards from everyone. Happy Holidays everyone!

Welcome back! Adding you to the list, Tish!
I smile every time I see your screen name. Longmont was a lifetime ago for me. Still miss it sometimes.

I need to get in this year- I had back problems that kept me from crafting as much as I would have liked for several months- I need to have a back up
I'll plan on 5/month from January to November with the "right" to amend as needed
DING! DING! DING!
Tami, you are the 100th person to sign up! Congratulations. If you'll PM me a snail mail, I'll send you a goody envelope to get started on your journey.

TIP: Use Stickles in place of jewels/ rhinestones/ pearls. You get that little extra something without the bulk

Unless it snows a lot today and tomorrow (no snow in the forecasts) we're going to end up with a brown Christmas. It's looking like the temps are going to be in the 40's and 50's. It's good travelling weather right now. Wish I was going to Nebraska to spend Christmas with the grandkids.

Apparently I had inadvertently missed a couple of you earlier. Thanks to VikkiJo for catching those. That's why we're a team.
Please check the list on post #4 to make sure your name is on there. If not, PM me so I can get it corrected.
Also check your pledge #. If you aren't sure how many, low-ball it and go for the minimum. If you get more done that's just a bonus. Remember, this to make your holiday EASIER... not more stressful.
We are at over 100 people! That is just awesome. That is 100 of you who will be prepared when Christmas 2012 rolls around.

We are having a green/brown Christmas here in Southern New Jersey...today our temps hit 60! Tomorrow they are projecting 52..and Christmas day 48 with a chance of rain. I know a lot of people will be disappointed..but DH and I are glad...we travel about 45 minutes to my husband's sister's house for Christmas dinner....and we both hate traveling in bad weather!
Merry Christmas everyone..I look forward to getting to know you all throughout 2012 and seeing everyone's fabulous work!!!

Hello! I'd like to join for 6 cards a month, January through October. Thanks for helping me with motivation. I can't take another week like this one, cranking out 20 cards every night.

I was just thinking the other day that I needed to do about 10 cards a month next year so that I am not trying to do all 45+ cards in two weeks before Christmas. I did not get all of mine done this year. So when I came across this, I was super excited about it. Please sign me up for 10 cards a month. Hopefully this will "force" me to get them done. lol.

::waving:: Hi, Kelly!!! It's been a while!
I'm psyched about getting back into this challenge! The past couple of years haven't gone well for me without it!
