At this rate, it will definitely take me at least a year. Here are 3 of my 12 for January. And they took me a few hours, LOL! It's ok. I love to create!

I never stopped this year but the closer we get to Christmas the more variety I do rather than ten of the same design.

So here are my January 2011 cards:

All Tangled Up

Starry Evening

Musical Holiday

Cowboy Snowman

Light up the Night

Cup of Mouse

Horse and Sleigh

Looking Up

Victorine Poinsettias

Christmas Pig

I still have three more to do for Feb. Thanks Vikkijo!

Yes, I have to do that with pictures I took w/ camera. You don't have to crop them but just re-size. What program did you used to open/view your pictures? What you can do is open it up in Microsoft Office Picture Manager, then go to picture on top, there is a function called Compress Pictures, click on that, then on the right side of the screen, it will have options and you can say - Compress for Web pages, then it will give you a smaller but still clear image. Save and post. Hope these help.

The trick I've used is to (while I am OFFLINE) select all the pictures I want to make smaller, click on "email pictures" and then a box comes up to ask if you want to make all your pictures smaller. It doesn't affect the pictures, just the size of the file. I choose yes and then it goes to my outbox. I go into my outbox and click on the attachments and choose save attachments and save them somewhere easy to find. Of course then I just delete my email from the outbox. I don't really need to email it. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but it was the easiest way I could find to make them small enough to send.

I completed another card. I suppose it would be smarter to just upload them all at once, huh? I have completed 2 so far this month. Here's my 2nd one.

I learned out of necessity. I have slow dial up connection so uploading, downloading or emailing pictures could take hours! I just "make my pictures smaller" all the time. I do it when I upload on here too.

Hi everyone, happy new year

Whoo hoo! I've finished my January cards already.

I have a number of loose images from image swaps, card kits, me changing my mind, etc that I want to use up. All of the images used in these cards were from my miscellaneous pile. It feels good to start using some of it up.

I have to resize all of mine. I use FastStone Photo Resizer

it's a freeware program. I've used it for two years without issues.

I'm on dial-up too. About the best I can manage to upload are thumbnails (pics, not my own hehe). And forget about uploading to Blogger! EeGads. I just take one day and find some WiFi and a good cup of coffee - of course, that's 80 miles round trip but...
