So my husband and I should be moving from Germany to MO mid-October which means all my stuff will be en-route for about 6 weeks! I guess I better get crackin'! I would have never thought to make my Christmas Cards now! Thanks! Now which return address would I use.........
Since we just recently moved, I haven't done my March cards yet, but I am going to break my tradition and do some Easter cards - as we will be going to my Mom's for Easter this weekend (first in a 'thousand' years!!), so I will do Easter cards for everyone - my kids, my mom, sister, brother, dh - it should ALMOST equal 10 and whatever is left I will do a couple more Christmas ones!!

I'd love to join this challenge. I like to send lots of Christmas cards but I don't like to make them all alike. Are we just making Christmas cards? I saw someone posted 5 b'day cards and 5 valentines so I'm a little confused. Any help or info you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks!
I have been a slacker when it comes to Holiday cards. I did get finish making my daughter's wedding invitations - two sets one for the wedding in Marquette, Michigan and another for a reception down state - a week later. I also made her bridal shower invitations. Made one valentine card and a few birthday cards - but no Christmas Cards.
Alliesmem, I'm sorry it's taken so long to say 'Thank you'! (I've had the flu.) I love all the goodies I got in the prize package you sent. There was quite a lot of stuff there; I was surprised!!! I'm actually making Christmas cards for April, but I'm going to post them early and give others a chance to win the prizes!!! LOL! I'll try again in another month or two. Thanks again! You're always a wonderful hostess for this challenge!!!

This started out as a Christmas/Winter Holiday challenge. It has since evolved. Many people wanted to join but didn't need so many Christmas cards so it has morphed into a Holiday Challenge. I still think the majority of participants do the Christmas/winter holiday cards, but yes, you will see other "holidays" mixed in.
You can add me to the list too.!
I have decided to make 4 cards every week, I need inspiration where can I go?
Need your help,
There is a thread set up for each month. If you look there, you will see some great cards. If you go to the home page and click on Monthly christmas cards in there each month there is a thread set up. It is CCC08-Month (for each month). You can even see those from 2007 (CCC07). also most cards have the CCC08 in Keywords so you should be able to search for them.
Hi everyone, normally I am not one to ask for things, but I am running low on little gifties for this challenge. I have gone out and gotten some things to use as gifts but I could use a little help on filling up my "stash". especially for the end of the year when I send out the Prize Winning basket.
It doesn't have to be much since I usually add a few things together to make each little prize pak.
Ideas:
any type of embellishments: brads, buttons, eyelets, primas
ribbons
stamps
ink pads
tools
adhesives
paper samples
stickers
rub ons
glitter
embossing powder
Also anything that could be stamped on or decorated:
candles
paint cans
XLarge Paper Clips and Clothes Pins
small scrap books
paper mache items like boxes.
Whatever you might have a little extra of that you think others might enjoy using.

Also, postage is always a help!
Thanks for your help.
I have a few items that I bought just for this reason. I just have to get them mailed to you!!! Maybe I can get to the post office tomorrow. I'll try.
I would love to be added to this challenge list! I think this is such a GREAT idea. I don't know how I missed this under the challenge list, but please add me! Thank you!!!
Just a quick question. But first, I think that this is such a great idea - making 10 cards per month so when the holidays come around, we are not scrambling. My problem is, I didn't see this post until today MAY 1st! Does this mean that I am four months behind (if you started in Jan)? Or did you start in December for the new year. I need to get stamping. The hard part is that I have so many b-days and anniversaries to make cards for over the next two months, not sure if I can fit in 40 + 10 more for May! I have a wedding this month to attend too! UGH! Maybe if I cut that in half, then in June kick it up a notch? Any advice? Thanks.
KateB, I'm sure our hostess, Alliesmem, will get back to you on this very soon, but, last year, I started in April. I did 10 cards for April, May, etc., until November. So, I just did 10 cards per month for 8 months and had 80 cards! It works out great! No stress now, no stress later, and especially, no stress during the holidays!!! I hope I've helped, but like I said, Alliesmem will get back to you. She's a fabulos hostess!!!
MrsBoz is correct. This is a join any time challenge. It is more to help you out! So if you can only manage 10 a month starting this month, then that is what you should do.
Many people join at different times, some skip a month, some end early. It is all up to you!!!!
One thing, no matter how you do it, you won't regret it!!!!

Thank you both for the info. I look forward to the challenge. I just hope I can figure out how to upload them. I will ask if I can't figure it out. I don't have a gallery set up yet. KateB
Woohooo, just want I need! Thank you for THIS challenge! I'll get started right away. Every year, I make 100 cards for customers and then for friends and family. I'm tired of not knowing where my November went to and not enjoying the holidays because I'm stressing over getting my cards done in time. Last year, I was delivering my last cards on Christmas Eve... NOT this year!!!
Wow! What a fantastic idea. Count me in. Okay - May to November that's 70 cards. I can do it!
I'm new to SCS (actually I've been lurking for a while) I've found so many cute holiday ideas but wasn't sure how to go about or justify trying them all.
Okay, I didn't get my April cards done... how can that be??? However, I will do 15 in May, and 15 in June, to make up for it.... If someone wants to stalk me and make sure I do them... feel free!!!!!!!!

I didn't either! Before you knew it the month was over. How could that happen!!!!!!
Hello! I'm just wondering if we're only supposed to be posting Christmas cards, or any holiday. I've been looking thru the posts for various months and seeing Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc....
