as of april 1st you will be able to do it online. You can email yoohoo@amusestudio.com and they will find a current consultant closest to you or you can choose anyone who you may have seen who is already a consultant.

So how would one find a consultant/demo nearby? The website lets me search for stores, but not individuals and I would love to pick up a catalog and order a couple of items.

I'm not sure if we are "allowed" to post the link since it's only visible when you log on as a consultant. I could be wrong.

Go to Ideas & Inspirations and then click on Ready to Roll Workshops. There's a link for the sample sets there. Hope this helps. If not, pm me your email address.

Anyone in Southern California sign up? I won't buy enough to sign up myself but I am in love with some of the images so I'm excited to buy.

To continue to adhere to SCS policy, your best option is to choose an already known consultant or email yoohoo@amusestudio.com to find the consultant close to you.

Sherri's blog has some great pics of what's in the kits. However, it looks as if the stamp kits may have been created just for the consultants to give an overview of all that's available. I've been comparing them with the catalog and it's a sampling. A nice idea. Sure wish they'd included that chandlier, thought I can understand why they wouldn't.

On another note, 20% doesn't seem like that great a return...is that pretty standard with the other companies? I'm on the fence about signing up. I've always been a scrapper so I don't know a lot about card making and this looks like it's leans almost exclusively in that direction.

Thanks for the feedback,
Mob

If the demo sets are a sampling, aren't you going to get duplicates if you end up buying additional sets? It doesn't seem like a great deal to get a sampler with your kit if you end up repurchasing some of the stamps.

Well it is a way for new demo's to show projects from the whole catalog without having to put all that money out from the beginning. Yes you will have some duplicates if you buy the full sets but you can use them as door prizes or hostess gifts in the future

20% is sort of a "standard" across direct home party companies. But I am with you on the chandelier, love it! I am a scrapper/ card maker but have never used a stamp on a scrap page so I am interested to see what ideas show up.

Flat rate are $4.95...a little less, but yeah, see what other options might be out there for mailings.

I had this same issue. I used the flat rate envie because I believe (not absolutely sure), you can't use media mail because it's not a "book". It's advertisement, so you can't use media mail. You may want to check with the post office. Let us know what you find out.

Yes, Mrs. Jones, the catty is just $5 + shipping. That will be $10. How much is the catty without the shipping - $ 10. Yes, mam, it is a bit high, but catty is really great - it just weighs alot - it is very sturdy, so that all your drool won't ruin the pages..............

Catalogs aren't eligible for Media Mail shipping according to usps policy... drats! They can open/inspect if they want to and if they do it would be returned to you.

We own an online book business and ship daily. The PO doesn't allow media mail for anything that has ads or sells anything in it - magazines, catalogs, that sort of thing.
