Wrose, if you're going to be moving a lot of heavy furniture around, you might want to make a reasonably small investment in those furniture slider things... oh, here's a link at Amazon but I'm sure you can find them at Target or the dreaded Walmarts: Amazon.com: Amazing Sliders Furniture Mover Assistant - Set of 8. Product Category: As Seen on TV: Office Products

We have them and they really do help a lot. We have to move the aquarium to get the Christmas tree in its spot, and I don't know how we'd do it (short of emptying it) without these things.

Thanks PH. Not too much stuff, actually. It dawned on me to leave that shelf where it was, because the wall behind it has the pocket door.

And the Ikea shelves I was thinking of putting there, is supposed to be anchored to the wall at the top. So.... I don't want to hammer into that small section of wall. The shelf currently there is strong and can stand without anchors.

Now I'm rethinking.

Thanks! I have done some type of exercise 4 days in a row! Although I only fit a 1/2 mile 10 minute walk in during my lunch yesterday cos I worked late. I did it again today only it was .6 mile in 10 minutes and then I did a half hour of yoga tonight. But walking like this, even though it isn't much and I'm just starting, has made my legs from my knee to my ankle on the front hurt!! OW!

It is in Lisle on Rte 53, a few miles east from the I-88 exit for Naperville Rd.

Morton Arboretum

Not too awfully far from my house, maybe 5 miles.

Admission is a bit steep. $12 adults, $9 youth.

Book Club was pretty good.

Hostess made us Knox Blox with sugar free jello. Red, cut with a heart cookie cutter.

I don't think I've ever had Knox Blox. I'm deprived. Or is that depraved?

It's basically jello with extra gelatin. So they are firmer and can be picked up with fingers. Like Jello Jigglers.

Anyway, it was cute (red heart shapes) and "free" (no calories)

Today my workers are putting up the trim around the new sliding glass door.

Outside, the front siding is getting ripped off. Yesterday they finished ripping off the back and the back courtyard.

There's a temporary glitch that sometimes strikes and makes it appear that cards are missing from your gallery. It usually resolves itself in about 15 minutes.

Right now when I look at your gallery, I see that there are 177 cards in it, and the most recent one is the black & white tissue paper one that you uploaded on Tuesday.

Does anyone know anything about the energy tax credit thing? I don't even know what its called. LOL. Our tax appointment is today and DH just sprung some energy crap thing on me and said to gather the reciepts for new exterior doors and insulation because we can take it off on our taxes. I'm not sure if its a deduction or a credit. Anyone?

Two days from the big cheer competition for DD. The girls say they are going to win. LOL. We watched their routine last night and it is pretty impressive. If the videos aren't too expensive, I plan to purchase one. I won't be able to post it on facebook because of copyright, but I'll upload it and email for anyone interested in watching.

So, tax appointment tonight. I get nervous about this appointment every year. A return would be nice, maybe even expected this year. I mean, single income and seven dependents, come on! It still makes me nervous that I'll have to pay.

Marge, you need to join facebook so you can see pics and stuff. YOu don't have to use your real name if you're uncomfortable with that. Make up one...Princess Consuelo Banana Hammock is a good one. Right, PH? Then you can just join the pondie group on there and no one will know its you except us.

Highlights of the day so far:

Had a card on the SCS FB page - squeeeeee!

Shared a card from DD in my gallery - so stinkin' sweet.

Got a comment on my blog from the author of the book I was talking about. Hello, awesome. The book was absolutely amazing (The Art of Hearing Heartbeats).

FFS I give up. Every stupid thing that could go wrong has gone wrong today. I have spent more time fixing problems, making mistakes and dealing with that than anything I'm supposed to be doing. SO I guess I will not be heading out to Target and getting anything done today. I also needed to go back to Safeway and have them correct a mistake made by the cashier and I had gone and gotten ink so I could print coupons and got the wrong number.

Or do I just suck it up and go do everything and not worry about coupons right now?
