I was on a roll yesterday getting everything caught up. I made 9 more christmas cards which takes me to 39 i think. So 6 more and i think i'll be done. Anymore than that and people are getting boxed cards lol.
Kelly your reply goes out today and everyone watch for your thanksgiving cards. My fall decs come down this weekend and christmas will go up next week. I can't believe its getting so close.
Glad you got it. I did them with the cricut but to tell you which cart i don't remember. Whats that tell you i own too many cartridges. Lol
I know you will laugh at me because my stamping friends laugh at me. I always keep one card of any cards I make and write down the stamp set, paper, color inks, dies, ribbon, etc down on a post it and stick it inside the card. My friends were looking at some of my cards I made and were laughing at me. And guess who will ask me when I send them a card what stamp or patterned paper. etc I used? LOL.
Actually I do that so that when I want to recreate a card I can do so without spending a whole lot of time trying to figure that I used. Sadly, I own too much too.
Carrie I received your letter, but haven't opened it yet. LOL Bad weekend here. I think I received one from Sarah a while back too, and it got misplaced. Darn inlaws showing up and hubby had to do our once-every-three-month-crazy-"my parents are coming down"- cleaning-spree. But at least now our bathrooms are clean. :P

Thats a really good idea june. I take pics of my favorite cards but stupid me never thought of writing on the back what i used to make it.

Thankfully both cards and letters were where they were supposed to be. How often does that happen? And of course that was one of the last places I thought to look. LOL You should see our bedroom right now though... laundry all over the place. I am NOT looking forward to that job... I hate putting laundry away.

Too funny! Me, too. I don't mind sorting and putting in the wash and dryer. I don't mind putting the clean clothes in the basket to bring it back upstairs. Then it sit in our bedroom from Monday to Friday till I need the laundry basket again.
OK June I opened it. I believe this is the first time I have seen your handwriting in the two years we have wrote, except for your signature of course. LOL No worries though! Do you collect the bobble heads?

Messy, huh? Two reasons I type my letters is 1) my writing is messy (sometimes I can't even read what I wrote without staring at it 2) if I wrote them I would have to photocopy my letter because I won't remember whom I told what to. You may end up with the same stuff I told you before.
Those bobble heads are my husband's. He had them on our shelf in the study where the desk and computer are but he ran out of room when he put his NASCAR stuff on the shelves. My girlfriend saw them and said "those things are really out of place. Everything else in this room is "girly" and those are guy things. LOL.
Not messy at all! Actually I wonder how you all can read what I write, especially if I am doing more than one card at a time and my hand starts to cramp. That is a good idea about using the typed one to remember what you wrote. I am sure I repeat a lot of things. LOL

Happy Thanksgiving, my friends!!! Today I am thankful for having you in my life. All is well here, the kiddo went to Dad's for the holidays and I am working and studying for the exam. My BF and I took a a break for a bit, but decided to continue the relationship... Just at a much slower pace... Enjoy the day with your loved ones!!! I will be writing to everyone mid-December, after my Finals.

Yes i have 2 pies that turned out goid, we tested one last night lol. June go to FB now and sign up it only takes a minute. Lol. No it really does take 2 sec to sign up. Then set your privacy settings and you're done. Its simple, just like a big chat room. My husband is going black friday shopping before he has to go in to work tonight
He's dragging me cause he can't get it all himself after i told everyone i was not doing it. I'm already having anxiety i need a xanax lol. Lord help me survive and get home in one piece. I have too much anxiety in crowds like that... see the things you do for your spouse
Ok then, he is half brave. I want some new slippers from Macys that are on sale. If I order from Macys online it will cost $10 for shipping so it would be like it's not on sale - KWIM? So I asked my husband if he wants to go to Macys at midnight. His answer was "you can go." So your husband is much more brave than mine. Good luck, Carrie.
Well walmart was the absolute nightmare i knew it was going to be. I said never again and i mean it. Nothing is worth that much stress to me. However macy's at 8 am this morning completely dead and i even got the sweater i wanted. June go to macy's this morning they still might have the slippers
Happy late Thanksgiving ladies! I am on a turkey day overload... I ate way too much and none of it was healthy.
Today I stayed home and shopped Amazon and Kohls online instead. No crazy Black Friday shopping here, although nothing really tempted me to get out either. I still got some deals on toys for the kiddos and didn't have to get out of my PJs, although a lot of people don't get out of their PJs for Walmart either. I am still thinking of hitting up Groupon for their pay $10 for $20 worth at Toys R US deal. This afternoon we have tickets to go see Discover the Dinosaurs, so watch Facebook for pics from that.

Carrie, I had to run some errands on the opposite end of town from Macy's so I didn't make it there. Oh well, there will always be more slippers. Mine are really worn out. I went to a store (Trader Joe's - do you have those in your area?) next to Kohl's around 9am and the traffic was not bad at all. Then I had to go to Target for something (not a sale item) and they are next to Michael's. Neither had lines at all. I could not resist some gold ribbon at Michael's that were 70% off. Too bad I couldn't use the additional 25% off on these doorbusters. As it is it was only $.59 a roll so I can't complain.
I worked all through the holidays and studied some, too... Now off to pick up the kiddo... June, your reply is here and boy, was it good to get some snail mail The card is stunning, as always!
As for my BF and I, it is a work in progress but I am leaning towards breaking it off completely... Sad, I know

We don't have a trader joes here. I'm so exhausted tonight. We are going to decorate the tree tomorrow. Can you believe dec starts saturday. Oct and nov were a blur!
Carrie and Sarah, does that mean you are all done with Christmas shopping since you are wrapping or can wrap? I haven't finished yet. My holiday cards are done, though. I need to address them and decide if I will be sending out a Christmas letter with it. It's not like I have kids and can write about them. We lead a pretty boring life so I never know what to write about. I still need to decorate the house.
Other than a few gift cards & stocking stuffers, I am done. I plan on finishing tomorrow. I do have my tree up & house decorated. Didn't go overboard this year though, just a few things. I do not have cards made yet, surprise, surprise. lol
I think I forgot to post but I have received everyone's cards, thank you so much!
