I hate colds. This cold was going alright until last night when my sinuses kicked in. Even with meds, breathing strip, sleeping supplements and laying with my head and shoulders elevated I could not sleep. I woke up every two hours. I did rest for about an hour this morning with a warm pack on my sinuses. Then David called. I can't grumble about that.

Went to my scrapbooking group today and did nothing! Well, I put a page that was competed into its page protector. Does that count?
Between this cold and anxiety last night I have hardly slept for three nights. Finally got to sleep last night around 3:30 and up at 6:40. I don't think I have a choice about sleeping tonight. I hope I can sleep through all this coughing. The cold is breaking up and driving my throat crazy.
Took Troy to the child psychologist this afternoon. Seemed to go well. Feels kinda weird to leave him in the room with a stranger. He was fine with it. Drew a couple of pictures for her and brought them out to me. I have paperwork to fill out about his behavior. We go back next week.
Looks like I'll be pulling him out for the whole day. The appointment is at 10. It takes about 40 minutes to drive into St. Louis. So it would be around noon before I could get him back to school and he gets out at 2 and starts his spring break. My plan was to load him up and start driving to Ft. Sill, OK stopping somewhere for the night. But why take him to school for 2 hours then have to go right back through St. Louis on our way to OK? I just seems like a waste to me. Is he really going to get anything out of those two hours?
Just need to finish a couple of things and head to bed.
I started coughing at 3am and have been awake since. Took some Mucinex DM but everytime I lay down rthe postnasel drip starts again ugggggg.
I had a pretty good outcome from the cystogragm . We all saw the hole on my bladder, even my mom. It was very painful though. The surgeon says he will be starting my surgry laproscopically but didn't make any promises that he wouldn't have to convert to a open procedure. I had burning pain all afternoon and bladder spasms from the cysto. The pills they gave me to dye my urine blue didn't take effect until way past noon, way past the procedure so all afternoon my p was bluegreen LOL. We needed it colored at 9am. Oh well I guess it takes me longer to metabolize those pills.
I go in to the hospital at 11am Monday for a 1pm surgery. I will be starving. I am on clear liquids all day sunday, magnesium citrate sunday night, poop fest then nothing to eat or drink until after the surgery. I hate clear liquid diets, I will be so cranky by then. Last meal on Saturday night will have to be a good one

he told me to drink gatoraide, apple juice, water ect... at all times. This is a problem for someone with a hole in their bladder looks like I will be near a bathroom all day
MIL was admitted to the hospital today following a seizure and an elevated temperature. It's never good for her to have a temp. So far the UTI and chest xrays were ruled out, but she has an elevated white blood cell count and they put her on IV antibiotics. She goes downhill super fast. The timing couldn't be worse for us

when it rains it pours...the boy went to bed with the "I don't feel goods" and woke up with a fever. He gets to stay home today. I have a hair appointment I have to keep at 11. He will have to tough it out at home alone. Last time I had surgery without getting my hair done before it and it was really hard to get my color right when I finally got well enough to drive. My hair dresser is working on a day she doesn't work just to keep that from happening again. We will be trying to work around naptime for her 15 month old DD. It will be tricky LOL
I need to go mail my taxes...we got them back from the accountant. We are getting a refund finally! If it weren't for DD's college we would have paid LOL

I have lots to do today and tomorrow so everything is ready for when I go in the hospital Monday. I don't want my mom stuck with all the house work. I am on laundry patrol, dusting, vacuuming, grocery shopping, and bill paying . It's going to be a long weekend

My back went into a spasm and i had a mini- nervous breakdown and DH brought me a lousy sandwich from subway. I am seriously pissed off. I know my back is doing this from stress, but seriously, I wanted a steak dinner
