Yep, I gave her a warning the night before when I was working in the boys' room. I told her that her room was next on my list so she needed to take care of anything she didn't want to leave to chance

We had cereal night. Cody decided on oatmeal actually. Yes, they love fruit, especially Dustin.

I did I cruised right through that room. All that's left is some clothes on her bed, and I need to go through her drawers and reorganize and pull out stuff she doesn't wear. My main complaint in there was her piles of clothes everywhere, clean and dirty. And her reply was she didn't have room in her drawers. I may wait and have her help with the drawers so she can tell me what she wants left.

Did I tell y'all that Gabbi, my calico inside cat, has been missing for a few days? She's really my favorite because she is so personable. She has a habit of sneaking out on us - drives me nuts!!! She's just so darn quick about it. But when she does, we usually see her the next day at the latest. So I was starting to think we weren't going to see her again.
So anyway, the boys and I went over last night to water Mom's flowers for her and get the mail. While I was there, I had a breakdown - not uncommon for me. I just cried to my daddy and told him I needed some help. He always could make things better.
We headed home and I wandered out to check our mail. And I heard Gabbi meowing from the culvert under our driveway. She wandered out and cam for some hugs.
Thank you Daddy! That was definitely a nice help!

Krista....I certainly understand those days. Been there myself. So glad that Gabbi decided to make her appearance! They are such creatures of habit...so, when they do something different...it throws your schedule off too! Hang in there!

Back is doing better......I know it's a slow process. I thought I was going to have to go to the chiropractor yesterday. I had such pain after doing all my choirs and then doing all the cat stuff at our friend's house. Yesterday morning I put the heating pad on my back...no relief! So, I started working down the hip area to the knee on the left side. BINGO! Found it! So, I'll be working on that more.....love it when my body finally gets the message through to me. Okay, so I finally understood what it has been telling me!!!

Karen...I know what you mean.....it seems to take forever before you finally cool off!

I've almost gone to Irving twice this week. I was going to go to a stamp shop on 183. Have you been to Google Eyes?

Thank you Dody. I think I have also, but not quite as far as I'd like. I'm still working on presentation. Trying to get ideas from lots of other fabulous card makers out there.

LOL! There are times when that's what I want to do. Maybe twice a year. Get it all cleaned up. Problem is, it gets dirty again so quickly! How does that happen with only 1 person living in a house?

That might be a good idea to do it together. I really need to go through my closet and pull out clothes that I don't wear. I always think I'm going to and then it just sits there through the season and doesn't get worn. Takes up a lot of space.

What a special story. I love it. I saw your post on FB and wondered what the event was. He does answer our prayers and so glad that you had an intercessor there to help out.

I am so trying to keep up more with events and get cards out in the mail to people. I have tons of them that have not been utilized. I think over in S2S challenge, I'll start paying myself something for writing in a card and mailing it off to someone. Be on the lookout, you may get a card from me just for the heck of it!!!!!!!! LOL!

Happy Friday and Happy Payday! WOO HOO! Seems to me it may be a quiet day here. I'm hoping that boss may leave early and head to Galveston to make sure the condo it okay with the storms coming in. We won't see much rain, but G is more likely to get the rain than we are since it is right on the coast. By the time the storms work their way inland, they dissipate and all the moisture is gone.

Hi Suzy - they are a nice little place - and have much more crafts than just stamps etc.

They do not have a lot of stamps, but are getting better. I found my favorite Heartfelt Creations stamps and matching spellbinder dies. They have Hero Arts, and others that I can't think of LOL

It is stuck in a corner of a shopping center right at Story and 183. Down past the 24 hour fitness etc.

If you do decide to come down ( up ) sometime and it is at my lunch time - we can meet

Hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel for them real soon. You sure have been doing some traveling around. Yeah for you. Who did you see in Branson? I'd love to go there some day.
We got a 2011 Ford F150. It has 4 doors and a short (6') box. It's Red Cherry with gray interior. It had 219 demo miles on it...since I've been traveling around, it now has 2,000 miles on it.

Yes, there still is a need for volunteers. Still alot to do, but it's getting closer to being done. They have lifted the moratorium of 60 days, and folks can start rebuilding their homes. About 700 have applied for their building permits to date.

We saw Joseph Hall (Elvis impertantor from Lincoln NE), 3 Redneck Tenors (they were on Americas got talent show) and Smoke on the Mountain (a gossip comedy). All 3 shows were awesome especially the Smoke on the Mountain, we laughed so hard.

Bet it feels good to be home, Lois. All that traveling in this heat, Ewwww! I'm glad I'm holding off til Oct. for the bulk of mine.
The hitch is already on the truck so we didn't have to buy one and have it installed. We couldn't pull the boat with the car. So we traded it in, sold Bills old truck and now just have one vehicle.

Yes, great to be home. With the humidity and heat up in NE, I about died. Stayed inside when possible. I just about melted up there! LOL

Good Morning ladies. Suppose to be a "cool" 95 degrees here today. We were 105 yesterday. They say "MAYBE" some pop up thunderstorms, but I'll believe it when I see them. Going to get my nails and pedicure done today sometime. Then tonight I'll do some stampin projects.
Hope ya'll have a great day...be back later.

We had a heck of a storm pop up early this morning. I woke up at 6 and heard it raining and blowing. I went out to the kitchen and looked out the window. Oh my goodness! The wind was something awful! And it was this really weird green tint to the atmosphere. Keith ran into town and said there is corn flattened all over the place. Not sure just how much rain we got but it was a lot in just an hour or so. Now it's still and muggy and thick out.

That's good that you got something done, but yes, it's all about the fellowship.

Oh sorry, I slipped on the updates. LOL Yesterday they went to the Tennessee Aquarium and also to Ruby Falls. Lst night, my uncle got her and Randy tickets to his dinner for graduation. Today they went to a Christian bookstore then were relaxing the whole day. Graduation is tonight. I think they're stopping at Shell's on the way home, but not sure.

Don't forget the dentist on Friday!
Actually, that was me that suggested the meet-up in Branson But Lois could come play too!

No dentist today. He's out of the office until the 1st. So I asked my class attendants today if anyone went to him and got a resounding NO. LOL So Monday I'll call the dentist in West Plains I went to before.

Awwww

When you figure it out, let me know. It surely can't be that different with only 1 extra person here HALF the year! LOL

Don't forget... VSN mini is tonight!
I'm going to play just because it will be nice to do just that - play. And it's a rodeo/ cowboy theme so that scores bonus points! hehe

I'm glad they went to the aquarium in Chattanooga. Adrian loved it! Jeremy did video of her there. You can get sooo close to the tanks.

SOunds like she's having a great time with all that they are doing. She probably needed a day to relax.
