Oh Trace...whoops about Shane forgetting.
You have a good outlook. He's super good the rest of the time.
I hope he makes up for it w/ a yummy dinner OUT!
I did watch Survivor. Kind of bummed hardly anyone got to watch...
I'll white out my thoughts so you can go back and read after you watch.
Shannon, Shannon. YUMMY outside but I'm not so sure about his insides.
That flip comment about "now we'll have a woman president" had me shocked.
I told Tom he went down 2 points in my book but went up 1 when he was considerate to the girl with the prosthetic leg.
I still barely know the names...so hang on while I get the names down.
Fabio boy...what a dolt! I wouldn't be surprised if he goes home soon.
Tribal was a hoot when Wendy was ALREADY making her case to stay on day 3. Seems like she nailed her own coffin shut w/ that little speech!!
I believe Jimmy J. when he says he isn't there to win the $ but rather have the experience/adventure at his age.
I also don't know that anyone would give him the $ at the end BUT if he were up against someone awful he might just get more $!
What was with all the bras and underwear? Did no one pack as swim suit??
At this point that's all I can recall.

Well I fell asleep about 10 minutes in, and woke up at 3:20. Ooops!
So no Survivor for me yet.
Ooops! And how are the muffins? Did they survive?

The good news is that all the laundry from our Labor Day weekend (and anything else that was added in after that) is now done! Come next Monday (my usual laundry day) I should only have 2 loads, maybe 3. YAY!
So now I gotta concentrate a bit on cleaning.
Congrats on being all caught up on laundry. That's a big thing.
How is Jax liking preschool? How many times has he gone?

He's not so great at holidays and birthday. But pretty good most of the time, so I can't complain. Yesterday when I said something about not wanting leftovers tonight or not cooking tonight he looked at me so strange.
Then he started wracking his brain trying to figure out what that meant. He says outloud "tomorrow is Thursday...?" Like, what have I forgotten. Then he had to look at his watch to check the date. HELLO!
I sat there and stared while he tried to figure it out. OMG! Men!

I don't know how much chatting I can do today. I think I'm just not going to catch up from anything I missed yesterday afternoon and last night and just try to stay current now. Work is so busy!

Oh no, I didn't fall asleep until after I took the muffins out of the oven. Thank goodness!! I laid down to watch while I was waiting for them to cool so I could wrap them up.

my grammar is wrong.
it should be WISH not WISHES.
Oh well.
No, I think you're right. Sisterhood is the object of the phrase and it's a collective noun representing a group that thinks of themselves as a singular whole, so wishes is right.

Depends on how short they are. They can run "skinny". But if it's not enough to cover all the radios, they someone from day shift has to stay for mandatory OT. That always sucks for low-man in seniority.

Ah! Melsie! How are those allergies today?
Sleeping at night w/ that cough medicine??
How's football season shaping up for Travis?
I still have an annoying hacking cough, but I think it is improving. I'm tired because it takes me so long to fall asleep when I'm propped up on multiple pillows and I'm still waking up during the night because of the cough.
Football is going great! He has his second game tonight. Fortunately it is a home game.
He has a homecoming pep rally today and he is going to dress up as a girl! He is going by the name "Trixie." It will be fun to watch all of the boys showing off their dresses, wigs & makeup.

I actually didn't have one! I usually test whatever I bring in, but it only made 12 muffins (I thought it would make at least a dozen and a half) and I was already afraid there weren't enough, so I didn't dare have one.
A number of people came up to me this morning and said they were delicious. I made pumpkin chocolate chip. Confession - I made them from a mix! I was going to make some from scratch, but when I didn't leave happy hour until 11, there was no way I was going to go measuring a whole bunch of stuff. Plus it was cheaper to just make the mix. All I had to buy was the mix and the chips.

I was proud of myself this morning. I made a smoothie as usual in hopes that I could just sip that at the breakfast and not eat any of the bad for me stuff, but I wasn't sure I could resist all the yummy things. We had quiches, bagels, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and my co-worker's version of funeral potatoes.
And I was good! After I finished my smoothie, I decided I was allowed to have a little something, so I just had a little scoop, like 4 bites, of the potatoes, and that was it. I didn't eat any of the other things!

1.) We found out last week that Darren's dad had a mass that needed to be removed. The dr. gave it a score (lowest on the cancer rating scale???) and he thinks that they removed it all. My FIL will go back every 3 months for the next 3 years for checkups.
2.) One of my friends that I haven't seen in awhile was shot & killed by her boyfriend. It's been a very sad/shocking event. My heart is breaking for her family. We grew up together and I taught all but one of her nieces and nephews.
