Here's Trixie Schauer (aka Trav) and some of her girlfriends ready for a night out on the town!
Travis is wearing the blue dress. I have more photos of him, his cousin Trent, and his friends on facebook. It's hard to tell in this photo, but Travis has some really nice arms and some great abs! If he were to work out, he would be really buff.
he probably is. Is he starting to show interest in talking? They will act out too sometimes because he is trying hard to communicate and can't speak yet.
Monday night was open house at the preschool, so all the teachers dress up and we all wore heels and nice shoes. Well one teacher had on these pretty orange Steve Madden shoes that I fell in love with. She got them at DSW. The other day I got a coupon in the mail for $20 off. I also had a $10 coupon from my b-day. I found the shoes in the clearance section. They were 50% off of $50. I used the $20 and the $10 coupon. So the lady at the register announces, "And your grand total for today is 1 penny!!! I was like WHAT???!!! I NEVER paid a penny for anything let alone Steve Madden shoes!!! I am soooo psyched!!! I LOVE them!!! I don't have anything orange, YET, but I plan on buying something to wear with my new shoes soon! here is a pic of them SM Ven Rosette Platform Wedge - DSW
Anyone seen Couples Retreat?
I recorded it the other day to watch later.
I'm in it for Jason Bateman. I don't really care if it's good I'm just curious.
I saw it! I thought it was funny! Fun cast.

He talks a lot. He can mimic everything and says the names of things sometimes, but he probably doesn't know the words fast enough.

That is a crazy deal! Those are so cute! You could wear them with lots of stuff. You don't have to match them. I'm thinking of endless possibilities!

awwww, I can just imagine him talking. But yeah, he may get frustrated if he doesn't know the words fast enough. How is he with the person that watches him and around the other kids?
Hi! I should be stamping, but I'm not motivated. Found a sketch and everything, but just can't seem to make a card come together. Thought I'd pop in and catch up a bit instead.

Hello! Good afternoon!
And HAPPY DEAL Alyson! And may I say those shoes are GORGEOUS!!! Soooo pretty!!!! What a steal for 1 CENT!
Took him to the park in the "downtown" area of our town we live in. Then we walked from there to the library (about a block or so). Then walked back to the park for a bit. Went to McD's for lunch. He played there after we ate. Came home and we just got done putting together train tracks on his train table.
I am pooped!
But I am gonna stamp and work on Jackson's little preschool album that I was going to make...basically copying this that I saw a while back: Soapbox Creations: PTI August Blog Hop
My mil and sil are planning a trip to the Mall of America in Minnesota. We have gone on a couple weekend trips to Birmingham to stay in a hotel that is attached to a mall in the past. That was nice because we could drive our car filled with clothes and shoes home.
My mil would like to see this mall. I like shopping, but I don't think I like it that much. Plus, I would have to pay for my own flight, split the cost of the room, and take a day off of work. That's a lot when I'd probably rather be home with the guys.
I told them that I would pass this time, but I did seriously consider it. Did I make the wrong decision?
No, I think you made the right decision. That's an awfully expensive shopping trip! I'd like to see the Mall of America someday, but I don't think I'd go just to see it/shop. I'd have to already be in the area for something else.
Is the hotel in Birmingham the Wynfrey that is attached/adjacent to the Galleria there? My SIL works in an office building attached to the Galleria! She loves it - she often goes shopping during lunch.

We're taking the bed down. Then it's pretty much done. Just a little decorating here and there. That will wait until next spring. I'm pretty sure this will be our last trip there this season.
My mom and her husband will winterize it when they go on their last trip the first of October. Then we'll go back over Memorial Day. I'll have all winter to find cute stuff!
I'm glad y'all are getting most everything done before winter. It will be all ready and waiting for you next May!

That is EXACTLY what my issue is.
I know you can re-use it up to 3 (?) times or something but how do you get rid of it??
Put it in a glass jar and let it cool. After it cools put the lid on it and put it in the trash. That's what my mom always did when she fried chicken (and she makes the BEST fried chicken in the world!!!!!!!!!). We still dispose of grease this way. Not putting it down the sink, especially not w/ a septic tank!

BTW, did the Food Nazi give you some good advice on what to eat? I'd love to hear any tidbits of info that you've learned.
If I ate what she wanted me to eat I'd have nothing but meat and vegetables with a smattering of fruit! LOL! I can eat carbs - rice (preferably brown, which is what we eat anyway), potatoes, a limited amount gluten free bread (which I make), and some gluten free snack crackers. It just depends on each person's nutritional needs. I can't eat wheat, corn, soy, milk, cheese, sugar, or honey. And for some reason now my body doesn't like rye or spelt. I don't eat rye or spelt, so why it suddenly decided not to like it makes no sense to me! I need to ask her that next week.

you are right, the back bothered me more and it wasn't needles.
So I am not allergic to anything, yet I still have the burning sensation and I broke out in hives all over again. He gave me a prescription for Zyrtec for the hives, Zantac for the burning sensation and an epipen in case G0d forbid I have trouble breathing or go into anaphylactic shock. Still they don’t know what is causing all this, just giving me stuff to try and mask it and keep it in control. Made an appt now with the gastroenterologist to see if he can find something.

Wow! Nothing?
Well, if it's not allergies I hope the gastro doc can help. I'm still waiting to see one. Got the referral in July. My appt is in November.
I hope you get seen must sooner than that!

Very interesting!
So do you eat red meat or chicken & fish?

We have our usual Friday night football supper plans with my BFF and her family. Tonight we are having Mexican food. It's only 4:30, and I'm STARVING! I'm soooo ready to eat, but we aren't meeting until 6:15.
