So far, The Event and Hawaii 5-0 are my favorite new shows. I'm liking My Generation too, though I still have to watch the episode from this past week.
I can't catch Hawaii 5-0. I forget why. It could be some of Kate's weekend shows taping that conflict.

We hven't watched The Event yet.

I still like Melissa & Joey , Better With You and No Ordinary Family.

Second, the cheapest one was the store brand. And it was the heavy cream. LOL. Cheap won out.
The only differences I think there are is the thickness.
Light cream is thinner than heavy cream.
1/2 & 1/2 is 1/2 cream and 1/2 milk so it's thinner than anything else.

As far as I know whipping cream is basically the same as heavy cream.

WOW!
Now I'm curious about the price differnce here.

Have you tried the online stores - Lands End has tons in the clearance - or do you want to try them on?
How about any resale stores near you?
Not only will they have them on clearance but whatever you buy won't fit you next year so it won't matter what you pick up for this trip.

GOOD LUCK!
I really need to try stuff on since it's always a crapshoot as to whether anything will fit. Plus, I'm leaving a week from today so I'd be afraid stuff wouldn't get here in time if I ordered it today.

Hawaii 5-0 is on at 10 on Mondays, is Kate recording something then? If not you should try to catch it. Some delicious eye candy, plus the show is actually pretty good too!

I like Better With You too. It's cute!

I'm still in bed. What a slug. I've been playing around with my fantasy football leagues. I really need some help in my league with Kris' family.

But, I think it's finally time to get up. My stomach is growling and I need to get started on my day. I'm tempted to make this: Gina's Skinny Recipes: Pumpkin Spiced Crepes with Pumpkin Butter but don't know if I have the energy or patience.

Where is everyone? Off having a life?

I decided to go to the mall and I'm glad I did. I had some luck on the clearance rack at Macy's. Only got one pair of shorts to bring to Orlando, but also got a skirt and two shirts for work, one of which came with a necklace, and only paid $39 for all of that.

I also went to the grocery store and got stuff for garlic basil tortellini soup. I probably won't make it tonight since I'll likely have wings and possibly a burger at Flipside, but it's an easy one to make when I get home from work tomorrow.

I think tomorrow's supposed to be gloomier anyway. It's turned out to be a nice day here and not nearly as chilly as it was when I woke up.

Score on the new clothes!

Your soup sounds delish. Is this a new recipe or have you made it before?

Not doing anything exciting today. Back to working and updating my recipe notebook. I made a template months ago. I never got around to typing them all up. Oh well. Work in progress I guess.

Kim has posted it on her blog years ago and I've made it a ton of times since. It's really easy and really really good!

Wings and beer and football time! BBL!

Well, it's already been beer and football time at my house, now it's time to go out and add the wings.

Hmmm... I may not be a soup maker.

It tasted so good, but wasn't very 'soupy'. Not enough broth. It was more chunky like a chili. Not my fave. Maybe it's that I tried to work around 2 different recipes...I just don't know. Too much 'stuff' in it. It was tasty enough, but not what I was hoping for.

Hi there!

Tracy, I'll bet it was great though. I prefer a soup with substance so the more "stuff" the better for me! The less soupy it is the less of a chance there is of me dripping stuff down my shirt!

Hey everyone.... passing through for the day.... Made chicken & rice for supper. YUMMO! Had the big "M" in the head due to the weather today, took a 3 hour nap this afternoon. And am ready to go to bed again. It was 45* this morning and only warmed up 6* today! It's great to head into fall. Talk to y'all tomorrow... have a great night.

Mine sucked too!

I put the noodles in in the beginning! OOOPS

And by Too I didn't mean that yours sucked, just that it didn't work for you!

Good morning!!

A glimpse of Fall has come to Texas!! Whoo Hoo!!!! I could deal with this for several months and then go into Spring! Maybe one day of "Texas snow" to appease the children but a mild fall and winter is my preference.

Have a great day everyone!

you won this week right?

Morning girls!

So, I may have drunk dialed Josh last night and that was not a good idea. He came over, and while he was there, I forget what we were talking about, but I made a comment about having no self esteem. Then he got all concerned and said he didn't want to be that guy who takes advantage of girls with no self esteem. Or something like that. The conversation is a little hazy. Anyway, things were kind of weird when he left and I suspect our friends with benefits situation might be over. Oops!

I won the league with your family, so I'm happy with the guys I picked up in that league. But I lost to Jus. My stupid team got 40 or 50 points less than it was projected to. Stupid DeSean Jackson and Chris Johnson sucked!
