That's what my boss said. She told me not to worry about it, that yes, it would have been helpful if I'd caught it, but it wasn't my mistake and I wasn't the one ultimately responsible. She said she knows I take pride in my work and that's why I'm taking this so hard, but that I shouldn't give it another thought.
Whew! Glad you didn't get in trouble or blamed for someone elses mistake
Sorry you're itchy! I hope you get answers this morning and the testing isn't too miserable. I swear allergy testing is one of the most torturous things doctors ever do. All that itching and not being able to scratch! Horrible! Wish I was there to help keep your mind off of it! I'd bring picks of nearly naked Sawyer!
I've thought about this, too! I hope her cruise hasn't been affected. I know she was really worried about the weather. When is she supposed to be back? Anyone know?
I think tomorrow?

Saw a turtle crossing the road - hope the little devil made it!
I was stopped for a random car inspection - thankfully I was waved thru b/c it's done!
Just up the road from that was an electric wire down in the road. The electric company was out fixing it but that added 10 minutes to my ride.

Oh good! I was wondering how this was all playing out today.
I figured out why at the beginning they all are in their undies and bras... (of course this may be a late thing for me and you all have caught on) LOL!
But they never tell them when they will be dropped off (hence the reason some of them end up dressed in shirts and ties). So when they drop them at the location, they don't have their "luggage" with them.
I think they get their stuff like the next day or by the time the challenge rolls around, because did you notice they all then had their swimsuits on?
Darling! Does Tom own a shotgun? If not, he may need to invest in one in the next few years. Nothing says "keep your hands off my daughter" like cleaning a shotgun when a young man drops by, even if you don't own any shells for it.
Thanks everyone. I liked how she looked yesterday but she got off the bus w/o the skirt and said she was never wearing one again.
???
I tried to find out if someone teased her in any way but she said no.
Tom does not own a gun but he has a "I'm not afraid to go BACK to prison" talk all worked out
I think I am going to puke. Fairfield's alumni magazine just went out, and it was discovered that we listed someone as deceased who is still alive. I proofed the article and didn't catch it. Ultimately, it's not my fault because I didn't write it and I'm not responsible for sign-off of the magazine, but I was asked to help proof when my VP was on vacation, so I'm so afraid someone's going to try to put the blame on me. I was just in tears in my boss' office. UGH. I hate work so much right now!
{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}! I'm so sorry, Jess! I agree that the blame should not be on you!
how rude!!! She had no right to make you feel like that and speak to you that way. My post officve is the same way which is why I only use the automated machines and I too would have stuffed it in the little mail slots or blue bins outside to avoid any contact with dumb ***** rude people!
I'm so sorry, Colleen!
I hate the PO! I think that once I read that I wasn't even supposed to put packages in those bins. Then what is even the point of the automated system?
Just got a text from Jane...she got a call from the PT Center and they had an opening the very next day, she threw stuff in a bag and took off...forgot her laptop! No cell service, so she tected me from off site, she will be home in a few days!
Thanks Trace. At dr now. They did the allergy test on my back. Itch in some spots and others hurt. Feeling in chest is worse. They just came back in and said everything looked ok. Not showing a reaction to anything. Going to do more testing on my arms, more invasive
Oh poor you!
I've had both done and I hated the back one.
The arm one IMO was easier to manage.
I was proud of myself this morning. I made a smoothie as usual in hopes that I could just sip that at the breakfast and not eat any of the bad for me stuff, but I wasn't sure I could resist all the yummy things. We had quiches, bagels, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and my co-worker's version of funeral potatoes.
And I was good! After I finished my smoothie, I decided I was allowed to have a little something, so I just had a little scoop, like 4 bites, of the potatoes, and that was it. I didn't eat any of the other things!
So, I'm thinking that I don't have a sweet little baby anymore. I think I have a toddler in the early "terrible twos". It has been temper tantrum central at our house this week. He can flip on the tears like a switch. I asked the sitter how long we'd be in this phase, and she said until he's three.

Tracy, I'm so sorry that I missed sending you some birthday wishes! Was it a good day?
No worries.
Yep, it was nice. We went to to a 'fanceee' Italian place last night. My meal was sooooo good! Followed by pistacio cake with lemon custard on top. OH EMM GEE!

I'd like to think that she realized that she STILL doesn't like skirts.
Plus, this was a skort and if the crotch was riding up on her leggings it could have been uncomfortable.
I just hate to see her give up a "look" and not try it again.

BOoo to tantrums! I'm sorry.
Every little stage is different and so is every child. It may not last a full year.
he could just have some teeth issues or something else.

Have you Cake Wrecks readers seen how they were supposed to go on a cruise but couldn't because Jen's passport expired?
I do feel awful that they missed out on what I'm sure was an expensive trip, but come on! Don't you think that if you're going on a trip like that, you'd make sure your passport was current?? I know she had a passport, so she had proof that she is a US citizen, but still. Rules are rules.

Aww, I'm sorry! He's still your sweet baby inside! The good news is, it really is just a phase. He won't be throwing temper tantrums forever!

Oh boy. Just keep reminding yourself of how sweet his smile is when he's pretending to sleep.

Maybe it was a bad day for him?
Sorry!
I hate it. They are usually pretty quick, and I try not to react. I just hope it's not like this for that long.
I thought it was teething at first, but I don't think it is.
She tells me that it's a normal part of development and learning to express himself. I hate to seem him upset -- even if it's just for a little bit.

I think I'm going to go home a couple hours early today. I have 'schedule adjust' time from Wednesday night's training. I could save some vaca time tomorrow, but I feel so lazy today. I want OUT!

She's right.
Tom calls it an emotional nexus.
They FEEL but they can't express. This happens at every age - heck, even some adults I know - and it's a matter of them trying to figure out what's going on in their world.
It's not easy to see them upset/sad. All you want to do is FIX it for them.
