Poor Jane! I feel so bad for her.

I think that my fil is going to have this same surgery.

Ed just called. Said he got a text from Bryan asking if his music and pics and stuff were still on the PC. Um, yeah. Why? He wants us (me!) to burn it all to CD and send it to him. Um, not no but H-*-L-L no! The kid has close to 15 GB of crap on this PC. I am NOT burning all of that to CD! He can buy himself a cute little portable harddrive at Christmas and copy all his stuff to that and then move it to his laptop. Or his can send me the money to buy a cute little portable hard drive and I'll copy it all for him and send it to him. Copy 15GB of stuff to CD. As if I didn't have anything else to do for the next 3 months. HA!

I honestly don't know what Ed's response to him was, but I know what I'll tell Bryan if he asks me!

Sorry. Laura was here for quite a bit and then 2 of our artists were here while she was here.

I have a weird repeat "customer" coming in.
I'm starting to be concerned.
He's a odd dude.
Yesterday he came in asking if I knew of any vacant lots around for him to buy.
Said he was going to move here and build a house.
Sadly, I think he's homeless. I'm not sure he's all there upstairs.

Today he was back to wait out the rain.
he asked if we had umbrellas, did anyone leave one behind, where could be buy one, how far of a walk it was, could he take a cab there, etc.

Oy.
Then he said something that I'm 85% sure was crude but b/c he mumbles I'm not SURE.
AK!
I think he might become a repeat visitor.

There's a group of us going. Cool that your dad and step-mom live there! It's so pretty! My demo takes a group of ladies every year. We usually have about 25, but this year there are only 14 of us going. We also usually go in November, but this year we're going a month early. It's through a lot of folks off with football and other sports so not as many ladies were free to go. I was supposed to be attending the SCS shoebox swap in Georgetown this weekend, not realizing that it conflicted with this trip. I'm just over committed! Or maybe I should just be committed!

LOL---he doesn't realize what he's asking for does he? Yeah...a portable hard drive is the correct answer. Silly kid.

Oh yuck Edie. You feel bad for him, but you don't really feel comfortable with him hanging around either.

If he starts to make you feel uncomfortable to the point of being worried, call your local PD. They will come talk to him and maybe escort him to a shelter or something.

Jess is in CT close to the NY border - so lower left corner of CT on the shore.
Bridgeport is actually on the map of CT. She's in Fairfied @ work - next town over but lives in Bridgeport.
I'm (home) in the lower left corner of RI. I'm a bit further east up the coast at work right now.

Cin's in Ohio.
Rach is in Idaho;.

I know, I don't know how she does it. I've tried to get her to have her husband pick up her kids from daycare so she can come to happy hour for a couple of hours, but she never does. Her life outside of work revolves completely around her kids, and her friendships (and marriage) suffer for it.

A week from Sunday!!! So just one more week of hell, and then lots of fun! I'm afraid I won't be able to completely enjoy myself because I'll be thinking of all the work I should be here doing, but I'm going to do my best to leave it behind!

My SIL has done that for 9 years...she won't go anywhere she can't take him...it is not fair for my Brother, for her friends Or for her son!

I don't want to be rude or disrespectful in any way but I also don't want the store (or me) to become his safe haven.

I'd feel so awful calling the police...what if I'm wrong and he's just ODD?

The people from the photo studio were just here for about 45 minutes.
We put together random stuff from around the store for advertising photos.
I am STARVING.

Tried to set Rach up w/ the assistant. He was cute but too short for her.
Oh and 2,000 miles away!

Thanks, I forgot Kris & Leslie & Gretchen... I knew I was forgetting some, but just could not remember them... my mind just can't always think!

I need some HELP.... I'm making this item for our chamber's "Country Fair" held every October for their annual fund raiser. We always donate something for their silent auction... I need a name for my "thing".... this is what I'm doing: I went to Hobby Lobby and bought one of those really nice "cases" that has the lock on the side, handle on top and am filling it with cards, an address book, stamps and a pen... I want a really nice name to put in the catalog that is catchy and classy if possible... what do I call it?

At our job we're told to call anytime we feel uncomfortable with a patient. I've been told that the police do not get upset if there's nothing wrong. It's better to be safe.

I'm trying to think of something that sounds better than "card box".

Stationery is the direction I was headed... I was looking online to see if something triggered, but (sigh) nothing... Thanks for all the suggestions, they are good ones.... I have until the end of the day to settle on one. Keep thinking girls if you come up with more, throw them out here.... The box that I bought looks like one of those old time trunks leather looking boxes. Great suggestions... They are all swirling in my brain... man does that hurt! I'm headed to lunch to mail some stuff at the main PO.... bbb later... I knew y'all would come through for me...

No, he has a rare disease that kills the bone. He has it in the one ankle only. He tried an experimental surgery, but it didn't work, so he has to have it fused. I feel really bad for him. He's so active.

Hey girls!

I am beat...Jax is sleeping, so I am headed to bed for a nap.

Here is the candy corn tree we are doing...I can't find the actual article from Woman's Day magazine, but I found someone who made something similar and blogged it.

Hey kids! I'm here! We arrived at Lake Whitney a little while ago and I found an unsecure wireless network. Woot! I don't have anywhere convenient to plug into, though, so I may not be on for long. This laptop doesn't have the best battery life.

If I were smart I would have grabbed both!

Good luck at the doc!
I know you thought it was Brandon and I didn't have the heart to tell you it wasn't after you got the mints and all. He LOVED the mints. And Alex didn't mind because he got the pin and magnet, which he LOVED. He said teacher said he got an E on his project!
