Do you get to leave early or do you have to stick it out?
I hope the dragging doesn't start until MUCH later!

Lots of work to do again today, so unfortunately I can't really catch up on the thread. Please email me if there's something I need to know!! I can't wait for work to die down a little, though that won't be for another few weeks at least. I think it's going to be insane right up until I leave for Orlando.

I'll try to pop in when I can, but know that even if I'm not here, I love and miss you all!
Glad you got out of there a little early and got a nap.
Feeling any better??

Good morning!

Jax is at school. Drop off went well, I was a bit worried since he started crying and telling me last week after I picked him up that he didn't want to go anymore. We shall see what happens when I pick him up.

I am going to go seperate the laundry and catch up on some shows from last night. Gotta watch The Event and Gossip Girl.

Hopefully I can squeeze both of those in before it's time to pick up Jax.

As long as someone is here to cover me, I could. I can also take the OT if I'd rather have it. I could leave early another day too.

I'm still here. Took a few minutes to type up some recipes I had promised a friend a few days ago. Finally got that done. I need to go check the laundry and get a snack. I got up at 6:00 this morning to spend some time with Ed before he went to work. I won't see him again until late Thursday night. He's flying out this afternoon to go to Bryan's graduation. Since I had breakfast so early I'm hungry already! Too early for lunch, though.

I'm glad dropoff went well. I hope he gets into the swing of going and makes some friends. I imagine the change in routine and breaking away from spending all day with you is tough. Being a kid sure can be rough sometimes!

Did anyone watch Hawaii 5-0 with Jin? Wasn't too excited about that show, but I actually liked it and think I will watch that too.
I did, between Jin and Alex O'Loughlin I may keep watching

Edie, I'm sorry that you didn't like the muffins. Wahoo for doing your own plumbing.

Colleen, I hope that Jax had a good time at school!

I'll probably watch Hawaii 5-0 too. I watched the first 5 or 10 minutes, and I liked it.

I think that I DVR'd the Event.

Just watched The Event. Whoa! Had my head spinning! Certainly had some LOST-type qualities. I'll give it a shot and see how it pans out.

Hey Tracy! I seem to be feeling better as the day goes on. I was really worried when I first got in that it would not be a productive day.

How are you?!!

I am about 25 minutes into it. Can I just say there is so much of this: 2 hours later, 5 days earlier, 11 minutes after the last time we just said, 8 days before, etc.

LOL! I am having a hard time keeping up with it all. Gonna finish it while Jax naps.

I hope that you are feeling better, Jess! It sounds like you got a good amount of work done last night.

When do you leave for Orlando? Is it a business or pleasure trip?

If you want something funny to watch, Big Bang Theory and Modern Family are hilarious!

I *LOVE* both of these shows!

Another really cute show is called In The Middle. (I think that is the name) It comes on Wed. night and the mom in the show used to play Raymond's wife on Everybody loves Raymond.

I'm hoping that Allyson will finish the book tonight so she can take an AR test on it tomorrow. It is worth 25 points!! I don't know if she'll give the 2nd book a chance since it is taking her so long to read the 1st one.

I vaguely remember taking the kids to see the movie when it came out.

Let me know what you think about the 3rd book once you read it.

I'm glad that they found coverage so you could go back to your reg. schedule. Watching Food Network sounds good.

No internet or computers in there unless you bring a laptop. There are 20 big screen TV's lining the room. I think they had each one on a different channel. If something good came on they switch the volume to that one. Otherwise you could watch and read subtitles.

We pretty much talked to each other and watched Food Network. LOL...not many calls at that hour. And no callouts. They paged everyone and set up a schedule yesterday. Now it's just sitting and monitoring.

Your dinners sound good!! How do you prepare the chops? I've never frozen chops, but would like to give it a try.
I'd love to have a copy of the shredded salsa beef--sounds like something my family would enjoy.

I love this cookbook! It has appetizers, breads and muffins, soup, poultry, pork, beef, pasta, brunch items, and desserts. And unlike so many of the "make ahead" cookbooks I have looked into over the years, it doesn't use "cream of" soups and processed food goop in every recipe. I don't mind an occasion meal like that, but I don't want it seven days a week. KWIM?
Wow--that's amazing! It's hard to find recipes w/o using some of these products.

I'm so glad that the dropoff went well!!

My kids always cried when I picked them up because they didn't want to go home...It was bittersweet. I was glad that they had fun but sad that they didn't want to be at home. I guess it was nature's way of preparing me for the teenage years.

Since I had breakfast so early I'm hungry already! Too early for lunch, though.

I hope he has a safe trip!

Do you have a CT state quarter? It has the Charter Oak on it.

One side effect I had wasn't even listed but I found a forum where LOTS of people had the same side effect. PITA!
the only thing I was taking before the hives started originally was the pill.

Taking xyzol for the hives, which isn't helping because I am itching and broke out into more today. Called my Dr and he said to stop the xyzol and to take zyrtek 2x a day so I am going to try that next. Also said to take the zantac for the sensation in my chest and said that should help with the hives as well

I am sure you don't look rough, you always look great, but sorry you feel rough. Hope you can get some rest tonight!

they did smell and taste yummy, but they didn't go like when I make them for BBQs here. I think a lot of the teachers are Kosher and know I am not so they didn't take a chance and eat them
