Edie - I wish I could say YUM to taco night at your house. BUt after a bad experience when I was in TN (most likely do to Baby Bean) I am not fond of tacos anymore. BOO! Because I HEART mexican food!
I know you're not a may fan but since you like chicken salad you might like this.
Stop & Shop makes fresh chicken salad daily w/ the left over rotissiere chicken that doesn't sell that day.
If they have it at the deli it'll say rotissiere chicken salad but I've found it twice prepacked in the ready meal section.
It's really good chicken salad!
ham & cheese sounds good, too.
I love chicken/turkey salad on a croissant...mmmm yum!
I felt queasy the whole time. I guess it's just an "off" day for me or something. I am still not feeling so hot.
I am eating a healthy veggie sandwich right now, so hopefully that will perk me up?
Pat on the back indeed... you go girl... and a healthy sandwich too, as I'm downing two of those little pecan pie bites! Oh yeah! Being sick you can justify anything!
I'm picky about chicken salad for the mayo reason. Like with tuna, I can only tolerate a little bit, just enough to lightly bind it together.
I'll tell ya - those rotisserie chickens in Stop & Shop smell so freakin good! I've never bought one, but I'm tempted to every time I walk by them!
I don't mind Willow Tree and it has more mayo than this stuff.
Willow Tree is too sweet. I often wonder what they put in that.
I'll eat it but a few others I've tried recently are better.
We've had them. Very good. Fast dinner and leftovers to do something else with.

Oh no! That is not good!

Yeah, I don't know why I've never bought one. I should soon. It would be nice to have the leftovers for the many recipes I want to try that call for cooked chicken.
I need to roast my own chicken soon too. It's getting to be that time of year!

I have no idea what I want for Christmas. I don't need or want anything really. I was thinking of new appliances, but now I just don't know if I want to invest in that this year.
I have no desire to shop. What's WRONG with me??? LOL
I totally understand. I feel the same way every year. It's nice because I am more interested in clothes and shoes this year, so maybe I'll come up with stuff in the next month.

Yeah, to this day I still can't stand the smell of hot wings...
*shudder*
I hope it passes and you can get back to your Mexican food someday!

I love those rotisserie chickens they sell at the grocery store. They are always so yummy, and the fact that I didn't have to cook/mess with it even better! It's a good quick meal, and you are right, good for leftovers and other meals.

I'm totally with you on this!
You really should try the rotisserie chickens. They're pretty good. And so easy when you have adish that needs chopped chicken. I pick them up for some of my salads now and then.

OH MY GOODNESS! Chocolate chip cookies??? But you love them!
With all those food aversions, you are going to have a rough time on Thanksgiving, huh?
Yes! Choc chip cookies! I could hardly believe it myself. Most chocolate stuff turns me off lately. Brownies sound kind of good and I have been craving vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frostings. But that is about it.
I used to be able to live on Choc chip cookies! LOL! And when I was pregnant with Jax, that was part of my daily diet. Ha ha!
I am hoping by THanksgiving some of this stuff goes away. I will be a whole other month along, so maybe this crap will have passed. I can hope.
How nice that people have brought things over! That's really sweet - hope it's good
Of course it's good!! I didn't have to fix it! The first night we had meat in gravy over rice, green beans with salad and cookies. Last night, baked BBQ chicken, green beans, little red taters, mac & cheese & little pecan pie bites ... And, yes, there's only one left! We also have taco meat left over from Sunday's supper that we made on purpose to have lefties... So, we're set pretty good for the week...
Every time I see someone walking across the street and they're slumped over I stand straight up!
Don't want to be an old lady that walks all hunched over!
Barb - so nice of Heidi to stop off and drop you off something yummy. Glad it hit the spot for ya! ANd so glad you found a plumber who follows through on things.
isn't that the truth about the plumber!!!
I do have several blessings alone today, just in that paragraph alone....it's a good day so far.nny guy!
No, I actually don't really like yogurt either. I'll eat the Greek yogurt with strawberries mixed into, or put plain Greek yogurt into smoothies, but otherwise that's about where my yogurt consumption ends. And I really need to be in the mood for it. My stomach literally turned at the though of eating the yogurt I had for lunch today so that's why I ended up going out for a sandwich.

Oh, I'm sorry... I like yogurt, except the plain 'ole plain kind! Give me a flavored one & I can scarf it down...but I don't like miracle whip... so, I guess I kind of understand...
Sure glad I was close by to catch you when you swooned! You'd have hit the ground otherwise!
Speaking of hitting the ground...there is one thing that really bothers me about the Biggest Loser. Whenever one of the contestants falls, they shake the camera, as if the person was actually shaking the floor and walls of the gym when they fell. Clearly they are not, and to me it's just cruel to portray it like that. I've noticed it before and it happened again last night.

What? That's offensive.
