I am! The plumbers just came back to finish their job from yesterday... we've had this leak out in the pasture for about a month... the other plumber that we called just never would show up. We called, he'll call back... we would wait... we'd call, he'll call back, never ever called back. We called another plumber, he CALLED BACK! YEAH! Said he'd be here this week and you know what? He came this week! Started the job yesterday afternoon, and finishing today. We had an outdoor faucet that evidently rusted through that was causing the leak across our 20 acres... and they are repairing two more that just clogged/rusted up for us... It's so nice when someone does what they say they'll do! In the process, the horses are running amuck around the place, but it's okay, they won't get out across the cattle guards. They are fertilizing everything, the big dogs are "helping" supervise the plumbers, and the little dogs are inside with me today.... I'm just so glad to get rid of the leak!! I'll have pressure in the house again.

Every once in a while we get a weak storm before Halloween. It's more normal to start getting snow around Thanksgiving.
That sounds so pretty!
I'm glad you woke from your haze to drive into work

If the white cat isn't real, It's the best realistic faux cat I've ever had, because it eats, meows and poops like a real one! Yes, that is TDQ... he's a huge male cat... and spoiled rotten! He was watching the horses outside yesterday... he doesn't get to see them too often.

I've found that MANY people are very brand conscious. They will ONLY buy Pandora and won't mix beads...

To each their own.
I'm not a loyal brand person... I just want the look. I have a friend who has a real Pandora too and she likes mine just as well as hers. I guess that's why I have so much jewelry! I buy a lot of faux stuff!

They have one too. But I suspect my stepdad doesn't want to do all the work. He pretty much told Shane he needs one next year.

I don't know if that's a get yer own thing or if he wants a buddy to go up into the hills with him. I will have to ask my brother if he got the same instruction.

I told Shane that if we he goes and gets wood with John that 1/2 of it is going to sit at our Cabin and they can come down to our place and sit around the campfire by our cabins instead of the convenience of their backyard.

It's nice to want a buddy to go do that with...I get that.
Still, Shane could just borrow thiers and he wouldn't have to do all the work. Sheesh!

i like your plan very much!

We don't have that one. I'm sure we could put an order in...
It gets here to the store pretty fast.

I didn't see if they had online sales but I bet they do somewhere.

Here's the link that I sent to my mom from an online store that has it:

One weekend a few weeks ago it was yucky and rainy here.
Tom saw the almanac in the store and checked it for THAT weekend and it was spot on.
So....

Hello again. I'm back and I'll admit that the house is not clean yet. Haven't done a single bit of cleaning. I do have the laundry sorted and one load in the washer. And I do have the makings of a loaf of bread in the bread machine. Oh, wait! I did mutilate and destroy my last Mr. Clean Magic Eraser washing dirty doggy spots off of the walls and doors. That's all the cleaning I've done. Not sure how much cleaning will get done. I fell like crap on a cracker today.

I don't think I"ve ever carved a pumpkin. Might have done it once when I was a little kid, but I don't remember. It's still too hot to do much with pumpkins around here. They go bad if you carve them early, and they cost too much to carve them and then toss them after a few days.

My computer took a little vacation without prior notification! I didn't approve the request, but it went anyway! But, I'm back now and need to catch up and remember what my reply was that I was working on...

I know you're not a may fan but since you like chicken salad you might like this.
Stop & Shop makes fresh chicken salad daily w/ the left over rotissiere chicken that doesn't sell that day.
If they have it at the deli it'll say rotissiere chicken salad but I've found it twice prepacked in the ready meal section.
It's really good chicken salad!

ham & cheese sounds good, too.

ME! I am watching! Personally, while I don't like Marty, I am glad he did not go home. I want that Brenda gone!!

Again, while I don't care for Marty, I thought it quite shady of Brenda to say that Marty's plan was to vote Jane off. It was HER telling him that (granted it was her story for her plan's purpose) but to put that dirt on him was not nice.

And yeah, I was so bummed that so many people were against Kelly B because of her leg. Everytime I watched that girl made me cry. How inspiring!!!!

I did it. Pat myself on the back. LOL!

I felt queasy the whole time. I guess it's just an "off" day for me or something. I am still not feeling so hot.

I am eating a healthy veggie sandwich right now, so hopefully that will perk me up?

I have nothing against Marty but Brenda was RUDE to ambush him like that.
She did it w/ such a straight face that unless I knew she was lying I might think she was onto something.

And I thought getting rid of Yve over Dan was so dumb too. The man is useless! Plus the fact that all his talk about his Ferrari and 8 other cars makes me want to vomit.
oh yeah, so annoyed that they keep him around. I get that they think they need a "weak" player to keep around so they can beat him at individual stuff, BUT do you really want to keep losing because of him and get no rewards and have no alliances left since you have to keep booting people off your team?

It seems like they are usually pretty well on the mark, aren't they?

Heidi just came by the house, dropped off some frito pie/chili for me that she had left from lunch w/Scott... Her class test was delayed until after lunch.... It pretty much hit the spot!

That's all the cleaning I've done. Not sure how much cleaning will get done. I fell like crap on a cracker today.
The copper choreboys have become my buds lately... they really get that cooked/baked on gunk off of my cooktop... I have a lady come in and clean, but that gunk just doesn't seem to come off... but I spray some stuff on it to loosen it, then come back about 30 minutes later, scrub w/one of those copper boys & viola', it's a miracle almost! The burners look sooooo much nicer.

Never said that I hope you feel like cavier on a cracker real soon Suz... at least if you are going to be on a cracker, you might as well be the very best...

We had hot dogs & mac & cheese the other night.

How nice that people have brought things over! That's really sweet - hope it's good

If they have it at the deli it'll say rotissiere chicken salad but I've found it twice prepacked in the ready meal section.
It's really good chicken salad!

ham & cheese sounds good, too.
I'll have to look into that!

I'm picky about chicken salad for the mayo reason. Like with tuna, I can only tolerate a little bit, just enough to lightly bind it together.

I'll tell ya - those rotisserie chickens in Stop & Shop smell so freakin good! I've never bought one, but I'm tempted to every time I walk by them!
