I have no idea what I want for Christmas. I don't need or want anything really. I was thinking of new appliances, but now I just don't know if I want to invest in that this year.
I have no desire to shop. What's WRONG with me??? LOL
Oh man, I have so many things that I want! Nothing big, but a lot of DVDs, books, things like that. I use the wish list feature on Amazon and add things to it through the year. Then my mom (or whoever) can just search the wish lists for mine and see what I want. I made sure to remind her of that in my e-mail about the bead.
I have NO clue what to get for my brother or dad for Christmas. I need to go to IKEA to get some plates that my mom wants, so that'll be part of her gift.
And then for my family's secret santa thing at my house, I have my cousin Roy. Of all the people I could have gotten, he would have been my last choice. I have no clue what to get him!

Yes, I can see where I'd be rolling on the floor too!! I was talking about the black stuffed cat on the table vs my live white cat on the other table!!! I didn't even think about that when I wrote that comment!!!
Oh yeah. I forgot about Useless Dan. Lame. They just think he's a free vote and not a threat. Stupid way to look at it, considering they still need to win challenges.
Exactly. The free vote is something to consider, but if you have someone who will help you win and keep you out of tribal, you won't need their vote!
And that's why getting rid of Kelly was a dumb move. She would have gone along with whatever Brenda and Sash wanted as far as votes for the next few tribals at least, plus she was actually a contributor in challenges and around camp.

Those are fun! I have been contemplating getting these kinds of pumpkins to avoid the whole pumpkin thing every year. But Jax just likes to paint them. So...since I don't have to carve or pull out any goop, I guess I don't mind.
I really don't like the goop pulling, either. eesh!
On the plus side, I did come home with some cute buttons (Mom was cleaning out some stuff in her quilting room) and a brand new top from Coldwater Creek that's too small for Mom. It's almost too big for me, but it's stretchy so I can still wear it. Dad saw me when I tried it on and he said, "You've lost weight! That shirt looks good on you!" So nice to be noticed by someone who is usually oblivious to such things!

checking in for the day... felt like 1000% this morning & might have done a bit too much, once I sat down here on the couch... a big OUCH! so, guess I'm just going to lay around now for the rest of the day.... My BAD! BIG BAD!

Y'all are so special to me! I just got the most unexpected delivery.... THANK YOU for the flowers. They are beautiful and from my favorite florist in town. They smell heavenly too. I'm thinking Dan just moans and groans around camp and waits to be waited on. I don't see him doing much work.
I hate to say it--but I laughed my face off when whats-her-face drowned his alligator shoes. That's seriously mean, but pretty entertaining.

For the last 2 years my local jeweler has had a special deal where if you buy $100 in beads, you receive a "free" Pandora bracelet w/ the lobster enclosure. I totally missed the special this year, but last year I did a bracelet and charms for my sister's bday gift.
I can ask the jeweler if they will do the special again next year if you wanted to wait that long.
This is a pretty popular deal.
We have some specail like that, too.
I think it's 3 beads gets you the bracelet - $50 value.
Most of the standard Zable beads are $20.
I've found that MANY people are very brand conscious. They will ONLY buy Pandora and won't mix beads...
I have plenty of snow here if anyone wants any. It was a crazy drive to work. I could barely see the lines on the road. I hope this isn't a sign of how the rest of winter will be.

My neighbors car had at least 4 inches on it. Maybe more. Everything melts by afternoon this time of year. So it's not too terrible. Just a white-out driving in this morning. Big fat flakes. It felt like Christmas for a moment. Then I woke up and realized the light turned green.
Every once in a while we get a weak storm before Halloween. It's more normal to start getting snow around Thanksgiving.

Awesome! I'd love to see what you got. I can see myself already becoming obsessed with this and wanting to add more and more beads.
I feel like I'm going to need a new chain down the road. I got a 7.5" and that's plenty big right now with just a few beads, but once I add a bunch more I might need a longer chain.

Good morning. I think I must have fallen out of bed and slept on my head. I have the worst pain in my shoulders/neck/head this morning. I would take some Advil, but my stomach is already hurting. Oy, it's going to one of THOSE days. I hope y'all are all doing better than I am!

I hate to see young kids with them b/c if you think about a full bracelet it's a few hundred dollars in beads!
There are lots of off brands that are just as good IMO but you have people that will mix and some that won't.
I cannot believe they missed their chance to send Marty home last week. Poor Kelly. Sucks to get voted out because people are afraid to go to the final with you.

Roy is 27, not married but has a girlfriend. I only see him once or twice a year, so I honestly don't know him all that well in terms of what his interests are. I know he likes country music and weight lifting and tattoos and that's about all I know!
We have a $50 limit for the gift. I'm pretty sure he's coming to my house, so I will be able to give him the gift in person. I have a feeling I will end up with a gift card, but I like the idea of making him some cookies or something to go along with it. A little more personal. He loved some s'mores brownies I brought to his sister's cookout last year, so maybe I'll make something like that.

My neighbors car had at least 4 inches on it. Maybe more. Everything melts by afternoon this time of year. So it's not too terrible. Just a white-out driving in this morning. Big fat flakes. It felt like Christmas for a moment. Then I woke up and realized the light turned green.

About 5 years ago I was in Massachusetts for Halloween weekend and I remember getting just a tiny dusting of snow. I don't remember any snow this early since then.

They had the beads locked up in a case at Kohl's. I was getting irritated because I had to wit about 10 minutes for someone to come help me! Stupid thieves ruin things for everyone.
