I really want one and have wanted one for a while. Well, I don't necessarily need a Pandora brand since they're pricey, but I like that bead bracelet look. I saw on the Kohl's website that they have their own version, in sterling silver, for only $28 as opposed to Pandora's that $55. And it's compatible with Pandora beads and all the other cheaper brands.
I have a 20% coupon that expires tomorrow, so I feel like I need to go buy it.
For the last 2 years my local jeweler has had a special deal where if you buy $100 in beads, you receive a "free" Pandora bracelet w/ the lobster enclosure. I totally missed the special this year, but last year I did a bracelet and charms for my sister's bday gift.
I can ask the jeweler if they will do the special again next year if you wanted to wait that long.
Y'all are so special to me! I just got the most unexpected delivery.... THANK YOU for the flowers. They are beautiful and from my favorite florist in town. They smell heavenly too. Here is a picture of the arrangement... and, the table where they are completing the perfect table decoration. Thank you again... y'all are so thoughtful.
The flowers and the table landscape are both beautiful! I love the big fluffy white cat on the buffet.

I did the same thing w/ my Pandora bracelet. I added a few of the inexpensive Brighton beads to it for "filler" while I was waiting for more of the real Pandora beads.

I have plenty of snow here if anyone wants any. It was a crazy drive to work. I could barely see the lines on the road. I hope this isn't a sign of how the rest of winter will be.

I totally agree. I still wanted sterling silver because sometimes my skin reacts weird if I wear other metals, but I didn't need Pandora brand. I did go to Kohl's after work yesterday and got a sterling silver snake chain bracelet, a football charm, a tropical drink charm and a pink flower charm modeled like those Murano glass beads. I love it!

Thanks... I have decorations for every holiday! The cat is new, got him at a silent auction last month when we were at Scott's conference. He cost me $60! I think he's from Target though... he dances & raps! I have fall stuff spread out all through the house, upstairs and down. I go more overboard with the fall-winter holidays than the spring-summer ones!
That's great! The only holiday I decorate for is Christmas. I just don't have anywhere to store the other stuff and would probably be too lazy to get it out anyway. I have been looking for a fall wreath to hang on my door, but haven't found one that speaks to me. I've got one for Christmas with silver and gold glittery jingle bells, but the rest of the year, the wreath hook hangs empty.

That's a GREAT price for the bracelet.... I say get it.... get it.... get it....
Did you hear some chanting in the background? Sounded alot like "get it"...
One other suggestion.... Mine has two clasps on it... a lobster clasp where you can add the beads, then a toggle clasp so I can put it on much easier than fighting the lobster hooky dealy.
I can see why that would be helpful! The one I got has just the lobster claw clasp and it's not an easy one to get on and off.

Jess, we sell a Pandora like bracelet at the store.
It's a comepany called Zable out of Italy distributed in Fall River or New Bedford.
Anyway...we have 3 different lenght bracelet that are so cool. I love how the spacers look and how you screw off the end to slide beads on.
Anyway I'm telling you this b/c pretty soon Laura is going to put all of our in stock beads (and maybe the bracelets. I can ask) at a huge discount - almost cost - to get them out of the store.
There is a bead store up the road from us that sells many brands and is doing a booming business so ours are just sitting around.
The beads are silver and some have enamel inlay.
I can send you a book if you want to see them. I wish I got a discount to help you out but if they go on sale soon (and we talked about it just yesterday) the beads will be really cheap!
Awesome! I'd love to see what you got. I can see myself already becoming obsessed with this and wanting to add more and more beads.
I feel like I'm going to need a new chain down the road. I got a 7.5" and that's plenty big right now with just a few beads, but once I add a bunch more I might need a longer chain.

Jess - how fun that you picked out some beads and a bracelet. These things sound so neat, but I am just not much of a jewelry wearer, so I feel as though it would be wasted on me. And a Dharma bead? Right now I am trying to gather up the strength to go to the gym. My morning has not started out well. Threw up in our bathroom, came downstairs to make Jax his chocolate milk and Rich's lunch and I then threw up in the garbage can and then in our sink. I had no where to go, it was the closest thing I could get to! LOL!
So I am feeling pretty lousy. But I hate A) paying for the gym and not going and B) I hate sitting around here in the house feeling all lazy.
So I am still gonna try to push through and go. Just to walk on the treadmill or elliptical for 30 minutes.
Today is the only day this week that I actually get to stay home all day, so I must get the laundry and some cleaning done. It's a shame I'm not the least bit motivated. Gotta' get movin' though.

Yup. Or higher.
That's why I went with Kohl's - the football bead was normally $45!!!! but I got it on sale for $14.99 and then used my 20% off coupon so only paid $12 for it. And that was for sterling silver so not bad at all. A lot of them are not sterling and still cost $30 or more.
I think ebay is a good place to get them. That's where I'm searching right now.

I have no idea what I want for Christmas. I don't need or want anything really. I was thinking of new appliances, but now I just don't know if I want to invest in that this year.

If happy hour runs as late as it has been lately, I'll probably have to watch Survivor tomorrow. The move to Wednesday is not ideal for me!
They were SO dumb to get rid of Marty. Why not get rid of the guy with the immunity idol when he was dumb and didn't play it??
And I thought getting rid of Yve over Dan was so dumb too. The man is useless! Plus the fact that all his talk about his Ferrari and 8 other cars makes me want to vomit.
