O Little Town of Chat Box Chicks

Once upon a time, there was a little internet town.

They needed a home for those in the northern climes

and a home for those in the southern climes.

A bus to the crafty shoppes:

And the results:

A rock party for the Jules & the Suzannes;

And a tea party for us quiet ones.

Relaxing at the end of the day:

LOL :)

LMcAree 11-03-2013 04:11 PM

Cute Kelly!!

Anemone 11-03-2013 04:15 PM

Of course, y'all know I'm the purple smilie right?

LMcAree 11-03-2013 04:20 PM

Never a question in my mind! ;)

Chautona 11-03-2013 04:24 PM

Love it!

Oh, little house of chat box chicks
How busy we must be
To get paper and all our stamps
Combined so beautifl'y
We see the cards arranged there
With glitter, bows and fur
Rip off that glitz and trash the bits
Of mice to show that we care...

mountainmom 11-03-2013 04:31 PM

Kelly, you are the queen of smilies!

Anemone 11-03-2013 04:33 PM

Ugh. I SO need to make comments on this course at the end.
Once again, on an assignment, the directions specify ONE WORD answers - and yet there are some questions where the only right answer is two words.
And in the lecture notes AND the assignment, the professor has repeatedly misspelled one of the key terms of the chapter. Spelling counts on the assignments - if you spell the word wrong, you get marked wrong.

Chautona 11-03-2013 04:42 PM

that's just wrong.

tamijo 11-03-2013 04:47 PM

Lesson plans DONE! Now to print them out and gather stuff for the week.

Chautona 11-03-2013 04:50 PM

Janice, I thought of you...

And Stacy...

Chautona 11-03-2013 04:59 PM

Gotta say, that seller has some um... INTERESTING stamps.

*cough*

Anemone 11-03-2013 04:59 PM

http://www.millan.net/minimations/sm...esssmileyf.gif Entered the entire 90 question assignment in less than 10 minutes (I had the answers written down on paper beforehand - it just takes too long for the online entering system otherwise) and got a perfect score.
Take THAT! annoying professor!
And finished just in time for Battle of the Blades.

Chautona 11-03-2013 05:01 PM

But this one's cool

I know. I need to actually write down all these things so that I don't forget them before I do the end of course evaluation in 5 or 6 weeks.

Anemone 11-03-2013 05:08 PM

Fortunately, I only have 1 more assignment to do in this course. I'd like to have it done by this time next weekend as then I will have more than a month to just study for the exam. If it is similar to the medical exam, I should be able to do well.
But if I can give myself a month, I should be able to just spend 30-60 minutes a day, and then be able to spend the rest of my evenings crafting. Seeing as I have lots of crafting that needs doing before Christmas.
Still have the cradle purses to finish. Never did get the two felt books done last year, so would like to dig out the sewing machine and tackle those again this year in hopes of finishing them.
And contemplating maybe doing these IF I have time: BeccaMarie Designs: Swaddle Babies | Tutorials: Needlework But that is a BIG if, as Christmas cards have not been started yet, so I need to tackle all those too.

Anemone 11-03-2013 05:12 PM

I am just blown away at what these hockey players have been able to achieve. It really is astonishing.
One couple tonight managed to do - and do WELL - a skill that many of the pairs on the senior international circuit cannot do.

tamijo 11-03-2013 05:13 PM

I am tired of supervisor thinking I am an idiot when I ask questions about documents that aren't fully complete!

Anemone 11-03-2013 05:22 PM

Oh how annoying!

Chautona 11-03-2013 05:22 PM

I don't get people. I really don't

Chautona 11-03-2013 05:30 PM

wow! Boinked is a legal Scrabble word.

Anemone 11-03-2013 05:40 PM

I play words with friends a lot and I have been surprised a few times at words that weren't legal, and words that were.

Chautona 11-03-2013 05:42 PM

Y'know, it's been weeks since I've watched "Loving Leah" on Spirit Clips.

Can we get a new ad? I'm sick of seeing them smooching every time I refresh the page.

Anemone 11-03-2013 05:43 PM

I added an adblocker to firefox a couple of months ago. Best.move.ever.

LMcAree 11-03-2013 05:50 PM

Hubs wanted to go for a walk tonight, so glad he mentioned it, I've been worthless today and it felt so good to get out!

Chautona 11-03-2013 05:57 PM

Hilarious! The ad is different now. Just a purple Hallmark ad instead of that stupid kissing one. MMMWWAHAHAHAAH

Anemone 11-03-2013 05:57 PM

http://www.millan.net/minimations/sm...crysmiley1.gif My favourites were eliminated tonight. http://www.millan.net/minimations/sm...crysmiley1.gif

Anemone 11-03-2013 05:59 PM

C, rumor has it that epi 4 has been posted (tonight was epi 6).

Anemone 11-03-2013 06:00 PM

HA! One of the hockey players tonight said his hockey skates are going in the garbage. LOL

Anemone 11-03-2013 06:05 PM

C, I have votes I can "share" - as in, email them to someone. If you want to try voting, I will send them to you. The only thing is, if I do, you will be spoiled - since it will only let you vote for remaining teams - so you will know (although not necessarily in which order) which couples have been eliminated in episodes 4, 5, & 6 before you watch them.

Chautona 11-03-2013 06:14 PM

Oh, but I can't vote if I don't know how they did. You should give it to someone who can give a valid vote... unless you want me to help boost yours. That would be legitimate. I'd be happy to do that.

mountainmom 11-03-2013 06:16 PM

So, is it possible that the slowness of my laptop is being caused by something coming from Firefox?

When I started as a demo, SU required Firefox for me to log in as a demo. Now everything takes forever to load, and I get "long running script" messages. I don't understand the long running script thing?

JBgreendawn 11-03-2013 06:21 PM

ah I love that one of the smilies is gardening

got a little pile of small cards made this afternoon and a couple of samples for Nov. and started looking at the calendar, when Janice is in SF I have to get ready for and hold my booth... WAAAA.

Did that just for you. And the writing one for C.

Now I'm starting to get that pre-holiday season panic. House not ready, only a few gifts purchased, Thanksgiving will be here in no time.

Also, this Fall back thing doesn't work for me at all. I am more tired in the Fall than the Spring. I don't understand.

mountainmom 11-03-2013 06:25 PM

I love these little guys!

I know, I got my box for wish rak done and packed up yesterday so, now I need to start on my family
(got some things for June and Alice so far too) but, you know that kind of thing is easy to pick up through out the year ( sales and coupons in craft stores mostly)

JBgreendawn 11-03-2013 06:27 PM

Im looking in that site C... found this, it looks interesting...

Autumn tree branch CLING RuBBer STAMP by by cherrypieartstamps like you could add a sentiment with it too... there is enough white space I mean.

Chautona 11-03-2013 06:28 PM

I don't know that it's firefox. I think it's possibly a pup.conduit thing. I'd be sure I had the latest firefox, yes because one version a time or two back DID slow things down, but they sent out a "update to stop this" thing a while back.

But when my thing starts slowing at all, I find that in my research, I've landed on a site that has attached that dumb pup thing to me and malwarebytes just takes it away again. Easy peasy. no more sluggies.
