You're welcome! :-) I haven't done one in quite a while and the timing was right.

Keep hubby in your prayers please? He has turned in his paper work to transfer! Not sure how long that will actually take! ALSO Thursday he has surgery! Thanks in advance!

Lisa H- Someone overflowed the toilet in the basement! UGH
Emma- congrats to Strider and Sarah!
Laura- you make me laugh!

Praying for A's surgery! And for the transfer. Yuck on the overflow. Glad it didn't make a mess in your stamping area!

Sunday night was our board meeting. They found out the regional commissioner and registrar can't live in the same house , so now they are looking for a new registrar. Guess who they want to do that?

That's crazy! Do they realize how hard it is to get volunteers?

Can you recycle your schedule from last season and just tweak it? That's what our schedulers used to do.

It has been one of those mornings. As I'm pulling out of the driveway, I notice my neighbors have their trash at the curb. Guess who doesn't! I called A, but not to my surprise, he didn't answer. Looks like we have trash for another week! Good thing it's cold outside!

Do you have caller ID? When my kids were younger and we had it, they were required to answer if they saw it was us. Also, when we didn't have it, they were required to listen when the answering machine picked up and answer if it was us. We were mean that way. ;-)

Thanks for the new thread, Sis.

I need coffee. And donuts. Oh how I would devour a bunch of donuts. I would devour the, yet savor every morsel.

That sounds like fun. I never stamped yesterday but I did get into my stamping room. I picked up a photo box while I was in GR and spent a couple of hours sorting pictures into it. I didn't realize how many I had! And, the best thing? I found the original CDs of Eric's senior pictures! I haven't seen those in a NUMBER of years! Now I need to pick one for a 16x20 and one for an 8x10 to put on the wall.

I found tons of pics from 2006-2009! Now I need to organize the ones on my computer so that I know which ones I still need to print (when the good deals come).

I guess it is a checks and balances type thing.

That is what I complained about the last guy doing. I didn't think it was right that there were 14 teams in our U8 group and I had to play the same 7 teams over and over again. I had already figured out who was playing who, so it was just a matter of plugging them in and checking for conflicts.

I got the U6, U8, and U10 done. We play with other regions for U12 and U14 so I have to wait on other people for those. When I get them, it will probably impact U10 because some of the coaches coach more than one team. It's a vicious cycle. I need to have my ref admin look over them too and make sure he can have refs for the U10 games. I tried to spread them out more than I had them in the fall.

Probably way more than you needed to know.

vz5dzh 01-23-2013 06:35 AM

I'm surprised it let you put that many. Ha!

Lazorkay 01-23-2013 06:42 AM

Ah... there are a lot more teams in your groups than in ours. I think 10 is about the tops.

And it's always interesting to me how other clubs do things. Even though I'm not involved with ours anymore! :-)

It only allows 50. I had to delete a bunch! *grin*

MichelleGoodrich 01-23-2013 06:51 AM

Hi, Karen! How's the weather in Texas today?

juniperbarn 01-23-2013 07:08 AM

Thanks for the new thread, Michelle! And I love your smileys!

juniperbarn 01-23-2013 07:09 AM

I think I have a rash. I've never had one so I don't know. The back of my hand and my wrist are red and a little sore. It looks weird.

okiechic 01-23-2013 07:13 AM

I found you. Good Morning!

If you have access to any, put hydrocortisone cream on it. If that helps, it's probably a rash. You probably got into something that irritated your skin.

Schnauzermom 01-23-2013 07:15 AM

Michelle. Netbook. Get Ccleaner.

CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download

Let it do it's thing on the temp files and stuff, it usually makes a bit of a difference. They've got a free version, that's what I use.

First run the Cleaner, then run the Registry part. Reboot, and see.

MichelleGoodrich 01-23-2013 07:15 AM

Good morning, Laura! I heard SD had a record temperature yesterday. And NOT a cold one!

Thanks, Lisa! I used to have that on my PC. I'll try to remember.

Doesn't surprise me, what with some of the nasty organic seeds we get in.

Hi.

MichelleGoodrich 01-23-2013 07:25 AM

Hmmm... 75 is a little warmer than 14!

juniperbarn 01-23-2013 07:26 AM

I don't have any hydro-cortisone cream here. I'll take a benedryl when I get home.

MichelleGoodrich 01-23-2013 07:27 AM

Totally off topic.... it amazes me the vast array of user names and domains that are used to send spam! You can block 1000 names and there are still more. And some of them are actually words/names, not just a combination of numbers and letters. sheesh!

okiechic 01-23-2013 07:27 AM

Michelle, there will be no complaints from me. Earlier in Jan, there were record lows. My neighbors were freaking out that the pipes might freeze. Haha! One gal swore hers were frozen. She needs to work on learning to google.

MichelleGoodrich 01-23-2013 07:27 AM

Hope that helps, Joyce. Benadryl puts me right to sleep. Which is good because it also gives me weird thoughts. :-)

MichelleGoodrich 01-23-2013 07:28 AM

Um, was it actually cold enough for the pipes to freeze?

And I wouldn't complain, either, Laura. I LOVE the heat!
