We had 15 people. I was kind of ready to be done but that is mostly because I needed to clean up and get to another town to see the band perform. They got 3 superiors, which is the best you can get.

Jami 10-25-2010 09:37 AM

NEW THREAD!!!! WooHoo!!!!!!!

Calling all HYENas for a check in!!!

Debra 10-25-2010 09:38 AM

Hello.

robbrd 10-25-2010 09:39 AM

Hey Debra! How are you?

robbrd 10-25-2010 09:43 AM

I can't stick around. I've been procrastinating all day and now I need to go for a bike ride so I can shower before the kids start coming home.

Jami 10-25-2010 09:46 AM

Debra! Your hair is short and curly! How cute! :)

I know what you mean! I need to shower and get going on the ol' to do list that never seems to shrink!

Debra 10-25-2010 09:48 AM

I am doing great, thanks. My hair needed a good chopper. So that is why it is so short.

That's a great photo of you!!!

Jami 10-25-2010 09:54 AM

Debra - how's the family? And how's your stamp club going?

maryp 10-25-2010 10:03 AM

Checkin' in...Hello my Lovely HYENas!

I can't stay long right now. Doing a couple chores & finishing the grocery list so we can go when Jerry gets home.

Sad! Sheesh!

I remember when we went through a thread in less than a week...on a regular basis!

Seriously!

tayloredexpressions 10-25-2010 10:11 AM

Hey everybody... it's me! Wow, it has certainly been a long time since I've checked in on a thread. I miss you girls! And I never thought I would say this, but I actually miss being bored at work and chatting all day long!

I hope you've all been well! I'm sure it's hard to catch somebody up on over a year of missed threads, but anybody have any news to share?

Family is doing great. Erin and family are coming home Thanksgiving instead of Christmas. The girls are growing like mad. Erin is in her final semester of her masters and is homeschooling. Dave and Hali are engaged.

Club is great too. Plus I have had a couple of 10 for $20's with another one on the horizon. Things are hoppin in that department.

Debra 10-25-2010 10:17 AM

Taylor had a haircut too!

tayloredexpressions 10-25-2010 10:19 AM

Yes I did! It's so much easier to do when it's short, don't you think? I love your curls!

tayloredexpressions 10-25-2010 10:22 AM

I have to head off and I'm sad that I didn't get to chat with more of you. Here's hoping for a faster thread this time... I'll pop back in later this week!

Jami 10-25-2010 10:44 AM

Wow I go off to take a shower and we have a mini posting frenzy! LOL!

Everything sounds great! :D When is the wedding? That's so exciting! I saw some photos of the girls on FB - they are so beautiful! Homeschooling and finishing her masters??? How on earth can she do all that? Wow!

Glad to hear that the stamp business is hopping too! :D Your girls are lucky to have you for a Demo!

Hey you! Great to see you here!

Hmmmm....Mary is the one to give you a good synopsis...off the top of my head...

Mary quit smoking (YEA!)

Aubs has Josh (for how long now?) Oh and you might not know that she bought a house.

Pixie moved (I think it's just about 30 minutes or so away from where they used to live)

There's tons more, but that's what comes to mind at the moment....

Jami 10-25-2010 10:51 AM

Oh and Taylor - I think it's time for you to change the location on your profile. ;)

MonTigg 10-25-2010 10:51 AM

Hello everyone nice to see some faces that have been missing a while. I am back from Disney with a tummy ache from eating so much junk while I was there :( and exausted but the kids are being good and we have a fun red ribbon week planned!

tayloredexpressions 10-25-2010 01:05 PM

I don't want to give up SoCal as my location! LOL!

It was a traumatic day turning in my California drivers license for an Iowa one. But the Iowa license has *pink* on it so that made it a little better. ;) Jon isn't a fan of the pink himself though.

I remember turning in my license for a FL one. I kept my license through 5 assignments and debated renewing it when I visited home or switching. Probably better that I switched but it was a sad thing to do.

robbrd 10-25-2010 03:47 PM

Dinner was edible but less than stellar. I didn't eat the chicken when everyone else did. I served myself some while they were eating dessert. It was nasty. The chicken was good, but not the sauce. In all the years I've made this, I've never had it turn out bad. So sad. No I have to have them over again to redeem myself.

I refused to get a Hawaii one and literally started to cry in the DMV wheb they made me put HI plates on my car! I hated that she had to be deemed Hawaiian when she was Cali bought.

I love my CA one, but I do remember the day I got my CA one and they punched a hole in my IL one so I couldn't use it any more. I was a little sad :(

I usually do it every other year to include with my stamped cards.

Nothing much...just the usual busy-ness.

Working at the billing office one day a week, working for Taylor part time...teaching a stamp class once a month...busy with church stuff...our niece just got married...now it's time for me to plan a big party for my uncle's 90th bday in December.

How about you?
