Well I think I'll just tell you all what I'm thinking and you can tell me if yes that's doable or no way would you pay that.
ANd if you need pics let me know
shopping size totes $20 ($15 maybe?)
small lunch or kid size totes $8---considerably smaller than other totes
candy tubes $1
cards $2
flower pins $5
trivets $5
coaster set $8
fuzzy reheatable neck rolls $15
Pink Peppermint Sugar Scrub $3
I have some odds and ends gifts that were hanging around that never sold too.
And bake sale items have already been going at $1 each or 12 for $10. Cookies orderable at 12 for $10.
Day of I'll have $1 bottled water and pink lemonade, $1 for 2 cookies, $1 for cupcake
Kind of hard to say without seeing them. But most sounds about right. The $20 tote might be a bit high, but really depends on the design. Plus as you say, people realize it is a donation to the cause. Make sure you have signs reinforcing that.
Right now he had to go out to get the tyre on my car fixed. We popped out to get Subway for lunch and I nipped in to Safeway. Windows were open and I could hear the tell tale tapping of a nail regularly hitting the road. Yes, it's a big one so he's gone to get that sorted out.
Right. There were a couple of other pictures but with DS2s friends so I'd better not upload those. We have a rather cute hummingbird, large lizard that the boys spotted climbing the side of the bighorn sheep enclosure. The picture is when it reached the top. The last one was literally on a rock about a foot from where we walked past. Just sat sunning itself.

Hmmm lunch time. I think I'll make tuna since you were all talking about it. The kids can have PB. Uhhhh we're sorta short on anything to go along with it all tho.

JMO - I think I'd go $15 on the totes, maybe $10 or $12 on the neck rolls.
The scrub is in a pint jar, right? Or smaller? I'd thinking you could get $5 for a pint.
A quick hello
Thank you for the birthday wishes. Marge and PH the cards are just beautiful.
Talked to my BFF in England, she sent me a gorgeous leather purse ( not bag, one you put money in). DH and the boys got me a pot with orchids, now residing in the bathroom and I bought a couple of tops earlier in the week and a swimsuit on clearance from $40 to $5. So they put those in a gift bag - Superman! DS2 made a bench last week which he has to finish. The way he and DH did the bottom support it just needs a piece of wood underneath the supports to made a box for plants to go in. DS1 made a step stool I can use in the laundry room. And possibly the best present of all was an e-mail from my sister wishing me a happy birthday. I sent a short response as I didn't want any *****iness back and I got a really nice e-mail back. I don't know what has happened, if she wants anything but still. I haven't heard from her in 18 months so it did make me smil. Dad would have been happy too.
Sounds like your family is treating you very nicely today!
Sorry about your tire/tyre.
You took some good wildlife pictures - well, I suppose reptiles and birds count as wildlife.

you're welcome. i could actually have gone more deep - but like ph said - these are shallow waters! haha!
i just love how y'all seem to love me and you respect me (well maybe just tolerate me! haha!) even though I believe in something most of you think silly - well, maybe not silly - but the fact that you don't and i do.
in many ways being with y'all has helped me grow deeper and more strong in my faith. i look at what drove y'all away and look to see what i think. i still have lots of issues with the church and do not think it's infallible. but i'm still okay with being a part of it.
i hate that there are some "christians" that have not a freaking clue as to how hard they are driving others away. they make me crazy. and if anything make me want to stay a part of it to prove that the whole faith isn't as screwed up as they are.
and then again - i am one of those diehard bush-loving republicans too so maybe i am as screwed up as they are! haha!

Can I offer a suggestion - although too late for this year; maybe for next. Personally I will never buy a tote if the handle straps won't go over my shoulders. Might need to be a bit longer? Maybe others don't care, but it is a hard & fast rule for totes for me; same with purses. Otherwise, lovely.

Well, I guess I need to get going and make myself presentable. DH wants to go out for dinner and maybe a movie. I've been stalling getting ready until the washer stops but I think it's about to play its "the laundry is done" song now.

I'm thinking you can have higher prices if you have those donation signs prominent!

Not a pint. The tiny diamond patterned jars. Let me text you a pick of the neck roll.
Don't text, post it for all of us
I think I agree with PH, $15 for the totes.
You could get $20 if they had some embellishment, like a wide band of ribbon stitched a few inches down from the top, or appliqued flowers, or even a matching flower pin -- to leave on the tote or remove.

Even though I am not a practicing Catholic anymore, my views are:
1) I always thought it was kinda stupid to "give up" something for Lent. Why not, instead, do something proactive? Like, instead of giving up chocolate or other favorite vice, volunteer at a soup kitchen or charity once a week. I'm not directing this at you E, but that always made me scratch my head. Giving up something really doesn't help anything, KWIM?
2) No meat on Fridays. I hated that rule. Every Friday my mother made tuna noodle casserole. To this day I cannot stand tuna casserole. My fitness center lady at work told me to eat more tuna, good source of Vitamin D -- I gagged. She looked at me kinda funny
I don't see the sacrifice if you don't have meat but have shrimp or lobster instead.
The fish/seafood places are mobbed everywhere on Good Friday.
This is a sacrifice?

it will. That pic is taken on the back of my couch. It's hard to tell. But I just put it on and the opening of the tote sits at my waist. So you could have both straps on your shoulder and still put stuff in.

Took Shadow for a longer walk. We just happened to pass by the tennis courts. I was going to scout for stray tennis balls but there was a HS match. Shadow looked excited, all those bouncing balls, but they were behind the fence. We watched a few minutes and one came flying over the fence....guess who darted and got it....
I tried and tried but could not make him drop it. He got quite a few chuckles and was told he could keep the ball
I read this to DH and we both had a good laugh! Yeah they didn't want that slimy ball back!
