JoAnn are you working at all now days? Or are you a stay at home grandma?
How old are the kids now? I can't believe how time flies by.
I work part-time.
We have My Mom living with us now. She has dementia and is either in the bed or the wheelchair. She will be 89 next month. Healthwise she is
doing good. She lived in her own home, alone, until last July. We put her
in an assisted living because we (my brothers and I) were worried about if
she would know what she should do in case of fire, break-in, etc. She had a rapid decline and after 4 months in the assisted living she no longer could meet their criteria and we had to make a move. The nursing homes here cost $$$$$$ and healthwise she doesn't need to be in one. When I carried her to the local dr for a checkup to decide what to do, she suggested because of the rapid decline, Mom could qualify for hospice. My brothers and I worked out a deal ($$) for me to do this for awhile. We have a sitter that comes everyday and bathes her, sits with her, etc. Also, hospice provides the bed, wheelchair, supplies that we need. They
also send an aide 3x a week to help with her, a RN comes by 2X week, two music therapists come and sing to her every other week.......but, they say she could live awhile like this. Basically, she's up around 9am and we put her back in bed around 6 pm. Once down, she rests pretty good. With all of the good help we have, it makes caring for her easier.
Landen is 8, Lynzee will be 3 in May. My son & daughter-in-law that go married last April have a baby due on May 2.
Bet you didn't think I'd write a book when you asked those questions......
It was 77 degrees at 5 am. We got in the 80's today. It's supposed to get cooler
tomorrow. I bet that plays a part in all the colds/sinus infections/ etc. that a lot of people have now.

That was perfect!!!
It had been a while since you really had mentioned much and I couldn't remember if you were still working.
I do kind of remember you mentioning something about your mom.
I can't believe how old Heather's children are now. Man time really does fly by.
And congrats on the new bundle of joy coming.

I can honestly say the one thing with my parents that I am truly grateful for is the fact that we didn't have to face possibly having to put one of them in a home or trying to figure out care for them.
I truly miss each of them and sometimes feel like I was 'cheated' with them both going the way they did.
But I guess somebody had bigger plans for them!

By the way I don't think I have mentioned. Kasey is moving out the 25th of this month.
She is moving to what is known as 'the Peninsula' here. Newport News VA. About 45 minutes to an hour away. She took a job on that side of the water and wants to be closer to her new job (and boyfriend too I think if truth be told). It doesn't seem any closer than it does from here but she says it is. It is about 35 miles from here she said there it is about 19. Looking at the map it sure doesn't look like it.

He proposed to her last weekend. They are planning to be married December 22.
Way too close to Christmas for me but what do I have to say about it!
I'm a little concerned they have only been dating a couple months and known each other about 4 1/2 months. He is a nice guy but I wish they knew each other better.
