I wonder if Suzanne is driving the truck of her things or if she is meeting it at the new place or something. ( I am guessing we wont hear from her this weekend )

I don't even think this is available here- at least I have never heard of it being available

I have heard of college professors taking a sabbatical.
I just think you need a break, and a sabbatical is longer than a vacation!

Poor Stacy, we left her home alone all day!

My job is seriously interfering with my crafting and chatting.

ummmm let's just say that at this point in time I am finishing out the school year giving 100% and not burning any bridges but I am going to be dusting off and updating my resume over Christmas break and then trying to find something away from teaching or possibly in a private school (not necessarily better but in a way it is). If I didn't care about not burning bridges and I could find something that I could survive on I would quit as soon as I found it.

You haven't been happy with your job in a long time. I'm glad you are taking action. I have been much happier since I decided to take control of my career, instead of letting it control me.

Absolutely insane day at work. Was there early, it was insanely busy, and then I was there very late after everyone else was gone because the books didn't balance. Once I'd been at it a couple hours and I was still off, I gave up & called it a night. The accountant will have to figure it out.
Came home & dumped my work stuff off and then went to the mall as the shop I ordered Doodlebug's present from had called to say it came in & please come pick it up. Ummmm........... it is heavy. This thing is gonna cost a fortune to mail.

I bought fritos today at the grocery store. I haven't eaten them in years, and today I got the worst craving for them.

That is one thing I have yet to find. Either a goat's milk based cottage cheese, or a non-dairy one. I recently came across a recipe on pinterest for how to make your own though. Will make a trip one of these days to the shop where I can get goat's milk and give it a try I think. It is one of the things that I miss most.

I ah remember seeing a lady ( neighbor ) make cottage cheese from goats milk when I was around 11 or 12 -ish... ( it was kinda nasty looking/smelling) it took me a long time to eat cottage cheese again after that.

I don't know how long it had to curdle and ferment... ( but I am pretty sure that is what she was making was cottage cheese it was in a cheese cloth type ball thing being ( strained ) Its probably not that big of a deal if you enjoy cooking but, I think in my head I seen that and thought holy cow there has to be more to life... ( I still think that about food lol) ( all food )

LOL! Don't think I'll have to worry about that. If this works, I'll be ecstatic, if it doesn't, well, I'm just back at square one.

I googled the company she listed - SP & Company. SP and Company, Daringly Delightful Stamps by Samantha Peyton

Looks like they are clear stamps.
And I found your stamp: Three Winter Birds Stamp, Tina Wenke Collection SPT2053 - $7.99 : SP and Company, Daringly Delightful Stamps by Samantha Peyton

Probably looks "familiar" because it is by Tina Wenke, who I think also designs for Stampavie.

Funny, I like it with peaches too!

I also like it as part of a salad for lunch. I would do iceberg lettuce, top with cottage cheese, then canned pineapple.
Or halve a cantaloupe, clean out one half, then fill the well with cottage cheese.

Morning chickies!
Have had a lazy morning. Slept in, then lay in bed reading.
Having some toast at the moment, and debating whether or not I want to shower & dress and go out, or stay in my jammies. It is really nice out, and getting out in the fresh air would be good. But I really need to do some housecleaning, and I need to get a lot of coursework done today. Not sure I want to "waste" the time getting ready to go out KWIM? It would be easier to go out & run my errands tomorrow after church. But tomorrow it is supposed to be icky & rainy. *sigh* decisions. decisions.

Have just been poking about the 'net looking for shipping options, as my parcel to lilbro's family will be rather large and heavy. I am thinking of shipping it fedex. It actually seems like it might be about the same price, or possibly even a bit cheaper, than sending it regular mail, and then it is guaranteed delivery in 4 business days. If I can get my act together and get everything bought, wrapped etc. I could even ship the second week of Dec. and have it get there in time. Just might do that.
