Why do you share one iTune account?
My contacts -- when I go to iMessages and click to start a new one, and type a letter or two, the contacts come up and the ones linked to iMessage have a bubble. Some are linked to an email, some to a phone number. Not sure how that happens. But unless you are all operating under one number and name, you should be able to separate them. If DD were here, I'd ask her. lol

I need to do my free car check up by the end of the month, they keep letting me know, as I should have 5,000 miles on it or more, and it'll be six months. Um, I'm waiting til the end of the month because I'm hoping to be closer to one thousand..... "Only driven by a little old lady".... comes to mind. Except I've been letting DH drive it a lot when we go out to eat. Especially tonight as it was a longer drive and having my iPod for music is so much better than commercials. We stopped for milk on the way home, I ran in for it, so I won't have to go out tomorrow.
We love noticing if waitresses look at bills - most of the time, after I put my credit card on the bill, I put the tray back in the center at the edge. Generally they put the check tray initially closer to DH but not always. Anyway. When they bring it back, it tells me a lot by how many set the tray next to DH to sign. He hands the tray to me, usually the waitress is already gone but it's funny. I just do the tipping much quicker and easier, he agonizes over it. rofl
So he works and makes the income but I do all the bill paying and have fantastic credit. So far so good. ha ha ha
Anyway I'm not yet at 900 miles on my new Camry that will be six months old on March 2nd.

And as far as that goes, my poor car goes much more sedately and calmly in DH's hands than in mine. It also needs to be washed. It's mostly in the garage but still got dirty. And when I have it checked, I'm going to ask if they have little paint kits for a scratch. Just a little scratch, but still.

In other words, I mash down on the gas when the light switches. I have to actually be lighter with my foot with the Camry than I was with the Outback. Or else I squeal the wheels. What does that mean, Jane? In physics or car terms.

I told DH that by stopping at the store on the way home, not only would I get to not have to go to the store Fri. morning, but I would save some money by not going to SB! Actually that's not true, I have a free one coming.

I didn't know if that was specific to a type of breed or if all dogs need it.
It's kind of a playing the odds situation with heartworm meds. Mosquitos can carry the larvae so any mosquito can potentially infect a dog or cat, and one heartworm can kill a cat, though they are treatable (although with intensive discomfort and isolation) in dogs. Since I walk the dogs outside all the time I keep them on it year round, but given the seizure situation, if taking Molly off all meds clears up the seizure situation, it will come down to risks of treating the seizures vs her picking up heartworms--and the risks to Allie and Sonny if she does. So that will be a tough call.
But step one is keeping her off the meds for a couple of months. Given that she had no seizures (at least none that happened while I was home, and I did WFH for a week and a half around the end of the month) in December, if they stop again, vet and I will have to decide once we see what happens.

NOOOOOOO!!!! That first scratch is always the worst...
Ack now I will have Cat Stevens singing 'the first cut is the deepest' in my head all morning...
I wonder if I can change it to Rod Stewart or Sheryl Crow since they're not into fatwas.

It means that your tires have lots of grip. When you accelerate that quickly, the squealing tires are trying to grip but the grip is being broken. That's why often you hear that long squeal before the bang in wrecks--someone's hitting the brakes hard but the car has so much forward momentum the tires can't keep their grip on the road.
E could probably give you a better scientific description of the physics.
Since the Subaru had AWD, all 4 wheels moved at the same time, which meant with the same hard acceleration, you didn't have 2 wheels moving and 2 tires getting pulled forward before they start rolling. You can still get that squeal with AWD or 4WD if you have very very grippy tires and accelerate hard enough, but it takes way more force to get to that point.

Bo, I have the feeling with the heartworm stuff, it's probably like us getting west Nile, or getting lyme disease from ticks. As much time as I've spent outdoors and as much as I hate bug spray, I'm probably a lot like the dogs you grew up with in terms of having been fortunate. Knock wood, prayers said, so far...

Thank you! Fascinating. I bet DH would have given me so much physics, my eyes would have glazed over!
Especially thanks for explaining what is different between the two cars.

Funny, I thought immediately it was Rod Stewart but I guess Cat wrote it.
I noticed the scratch about a month ago. Very small, vertical scratch a few inches above the front passenger door handle. Very strange place to get a random scratch.

So remember DS's turn at the ER back in August? The insurances finally got together and the hospital got paid. Over 2,000 and we simply owe the $100 ER co-pay.
Not sure if the physicians have gotten their info in (over $1,000) but we shouldn't have to pay anything on that, and there's a small ($46) x-ray bill too.

So I just talked to the other two places and made sure they have all the right info. Sigh. There's something to be said for staying "in network" but kinda hard when it's not in your area.
I do enjoy being nice to these people on the phone. I *know* we're covered so I'm not mad, and I bet they get a lot of angry and frustrated people on the phone. So I love being nice and seeing how positively they react.

So we can share music and apps rather than purchase the same thing three times. I believe DH deleted icloud and it solved the whole thing.

Ha ha! Yeah that's what five kids will do for you. Now I'm the proverbial little (well, I wish) old lady who only drives once (or a few) times a week to the store (definitely not to church) and Starbucks.

Oh I don't think she's going to use them for OWH. You just want gliitter that's not loose for those rare times you use glitter, right? I like the stickles too. I have some glitter but I rarely use it because yes, it is herpes. lol
I did know that about glitter, also from BFF2's nephew, when we sent cards to him, he had told us that.
The glimmer paper is a stunning effect. I got a bunch of those snowflake cards out of one sheet.
Actually, I was thinking about using the glimmer paper on cards for OWH if the glitter doesn't flake off. I wouldn't use a whole bunch of it on any one card, but maybe a narrow strip of it as an accent.
