Ear infections and speach are very closely related. I've had three kids in speach therapy, but only Bbaby had any measurable amount of ear infections. She had five in her first year, but none since then.

Cinco is having one just after another just a few days after ending an antibiotic. She is speaking and babbling a lot. The words aren't all that articulate, but at 15 months I'd say she's right on track. Here's hoping I won't have a fourth child in speach therapy!

Oh, poor guy. Hope he is better soon.

Your boys didn't have school today, did they? Because of the holiday? eta: Read back and saw that they didn't have school. So at least your DS doesn't miss anything by being sick.

Or they are just saying it to make you not feel bad. "Oh sure we miss it!" Ha ha ha Or they have NO LIFE. rofl

Okay totally wasn't going to mention the spelling because I don't care. BUT - it kind of set me off on our silly language.

Technically, it should be "speech" but why? Later on you say "speaking" - so why do we change the a to e for "speech"??? I think your way is more logical! No wonder people have so many issues with our language!

Thanks. Lots to think about. Not sure about where we'll be putting Zach afterschool or if there will even be a need. I'm excited. I hope I find just something that is such a perfect fit that things fall into place all over.

V good luck tomorrow too!

I'm at the gate waiting for the boarding call. Listed to inauguration on NPR driving east on Mass Pike. Nice to be in a state where people are happy about it!

I'll miss my mom though. It was hard to leave.

NCIS marathon all day. Season one. McGee's first episode.

Only Gibbs, DiNozzo, Abby and Ducky have been in all 222 episodes!

In this episode, a movie (Shane) is mentioned, Tony is clueless, Kate tells him Alan Ladd was in it, he's still clueless. Bartender mentions a movie later (when sasparilla comes up) and Tony doesn't know what that is either. Bartender says something about people these days not appreciating good movies.

Which means Tony could have turned into a movie buff after that. Except in the episode about a year ago, with his former partner on the Baltimore PD, Tony showed movie knowledge back then, in flashbacks.

Like, why isn't "squoze" the past tense of "squeeze"? I use squoze all the time.
