Excuse me, I said the characters names.... technically the actor who plays Tony is almost 45. I don't think Tony plays that old. If you think of the Tony we saw in the first two years, that was almost 10 years ago (first episode in Sept. 2003); I dunno I think Tony's character is younger. What you think, Rainsong?

MO What you think?

And I think Kate did keep him juvenile. Er, the character. It hinged too much on him being a perpetual idiot. I like the grown up Tony lots better. Still like his goofiness too, tho.

Weather.com is predicting 2 to 3 inches of snow here tomorrow.

My meteorologist friend is predicting 4 to 8 inches of snow.

Our local TV station says up to 9 inches are possible in the southern part of our county (I'm in the northern half).

Who to trust? LOL

Yeah my sister took a personal day rather than get caught in what she said was 4-5 inches of snow; she said schools all up and down her route were closed.

It's a bad storm, I have literally been watching it cross the nation. And then there's the weather! HAHAHA

Hey they all have their moments.

We may get snow here tomorrow night. Of course, I won't be here for it--flying out in the morning. Knocking wood for no falling parents on this trip.

Aw heck, Wrose. They're ALL younger than me--which means they're all waaaaaay younger than you!

(I always have a difficult time seeing Abby/Pauley as being over 40.)

Yes, for all Kate's attempts to appear more mature, she baited Tony constantly.

I like the more mature Tony, too, but I don't want him to lose all his Peter Pan ways.

The writers do need to do something to make Tim a bit less boring/staid.

Look out your window. That's "who" to trust.

From the weather map, it appears the storm will pass us by, but I wouldn't bet on it. I'd rather trust my eyeballs.

Rainsong
He really is. The characters on the show are so quirky and their personalities are so beautifully drawn. The Tony-Ziva relationship is just beautiful. And Gibbs talking to the director last night outside the funeral home set new records for saying something with not even a glance, more a hint of a glance.

I LOVED Ducky's line too. That show really feels like a labor of love.

Oh V. That's sad.

It's kind of weird when news about people passing away makes you nostalgic for being a kid. That really strange 'oh so THAT's what my parents meant' feeling.

I agree with you on that. Kind of like Kate not taking him seriously kept him from taking himself seriously.

I think a lot of people fall into relationships like that IRL, too. Having fun but stuck in a rut that's too comfortable to want to bust yourself loose.

They're calling for an inch or two here. Fortunately well after my plane's due to leave. Snow up N due to end overnight. Whew.

Not enough left in my account at the moment to buy lobster souvenirs if I get stuck at the airport this trip...

McGee reminds me of a lot of people I've worked with over the years--salt of the earth, earnest, dedicated, truly great folks. Super smart and kind of befuddled by folks who get away with stuff they'd never think of doing. I love the fact that there's someone so... I don't know, salt of the earth on TV and that they haven't turned him into someone different.

I guess I kind of love it that he's a role model for quietly dedicated people.

On the other hand, having been that geeky, boring person for so much of my life, I guess it means a lot to me to see someone like that on TV in ways that have nothing to do with the story line. I see your point but it just kind of warms my heart to see how much the team loves him.

So hi
I could use some good vibes/prayers/ whateveryagot
There is a job opening at a place I LOVED working back in 98 that I'd love to get back into. A friend still works at that same location AND I believe the district manager is the same and I left on a good note with here. I've applied, and sent out feelers and requests for referrals. Here's hoping.

Remember when he got stuck in the women's prison with the Maquis traitor on Star Trek's Voyager? lol

McGee is, in real life, part of the Bellisario family. The girl who played his sister is his step-sister, her name is Troian Bellisario.

The story of McGee in the women's prison and his sister being suspected as a murderer focused the spotlight on his strengths rather than playing up his salt-of-the-earth persona. I've really enjoyed those--even the one where he is accused of killing the cop was a great way to show the many sides of McGee.

Guess what I'm saying is, the writers tend to focus more on Tony/Ziva and Gibbs than Tim. Time to spread the glory around a bit.

McGee is, in real life, part of the Bellisario family. The girl who played his sister is his step-sister, her name is Troian Bellisario.
Oh wow! I didn't know that!

Guess what I'm saying is, the writers tend to focus more on Tony/Ziva and Gibbs than Tim. Time to spread the glory around a bit.

Definitely agree with you on that!

I just wouldn't want the writers to suddenly have him to take up drinking or heroin addiction (although he does sometimes seem to have a heroine addiction) or something just to become more dramatic.

I also thought he was cuter when he weighed a bit more. Sometimes I look at him and think, dude, go eat a cheeseburger or a sandwich or something...
