DS1 helped pitting 20 lbs of cherries this morning. we had friends over last night, so grilled then the we all toasted marshmallows over the fire pit. Some made smores. As a result of a not really later night ( 10ish) DS2 didn't wake up until 11.30! DH and I were up before 7 as he had to fix his table saw. Job done so he can now finish the shadow box he's been working on. Yesterday morning before it got too hot, we painted the shed, touched up the patio roof supports, the parts of the patio roof we've just replaced and under the eaves out front where we had some work done in a couple of spots. Then power washed and painted the deck out back too. Going to chill for the rest of today, I think.

You need $1.10 on it if it's not overweight. All international mail has the same amount now. Most used to but they changed it. I didn't have one for Helen's card, so I think I used two Forevers (now worth 46) and one of my 20's that I keep because I frequently put an extra 20 on when my cards are bumpy.

She got it rapido. So it was two cents over but that's okay.

DS and his girlfriend saw it right after it came out and he said Leo should get an Oscar for it.

I did read that Leo and Tobey have been friends since childhood. Neat!

My sister has a fire pit and she just loves sitting outside at night.

NCIS is on here. DH switched to the race a couple times, and I finally said he can't do that. "Why not?" "Because the only reason to watch the race is to sit and wait for crashes!" LOL

So hi.
I've been busy. Good busy but still busy. M T W worked both jobs then TH was open house at the school and Friday was birthday bocce and dinner with our friends. Saturday we sorta tried to catch up with stuff and I had a massive pretty debilitating anxiety/panic attack. I've never had so severe an episode and wouldn't even normally consider myself anything more than anxious about a few things but over the last few years I get more and more uncomfortable in certain situations have been dealing by removing myself or talking about it but it was the perfect storm of exhaustion after this hellish week of work and I ended up screaming and sobbing and tensed up into a ball in the bathroom unable to even allow myself to move to let DH in to help me. Ha then I went to work a few hours after that. *shrug* wadaya gonna do?
Today I walked in the late morning, only 2.5 miles, then after that the kids and DH went to the park pn bikes and I cleaned the carpet because Zach had vomited late Saturday night after all the rich food from dinner and it just wasn't getting clean cleaning it by hand so borrowed my brother's carpet cleaner. Then I rode over to the park to play a little and we ended up going for a few short miles of a bike ride and ran in to a few friends. Napped after that. Went to a local BBQ place for dinner and rode again after that to enjoy the last bit of evening and see what animals were out and about. I feel better today.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes and cards. I loved the surprises of them in the mail. Made my days. I'm 39 now. Seems odd to be a number that is so far removed from what age I feel like inside. And I physically feel better than I have in ages. I'm way more active, eat more healthy and more regular times, even went shopping yesterday for new Target work clothes just grabs sizes around what I had been wearing and ended up getting a pair that when I got home and looked were a size 10!

ANyway I still read here to keep caught up and text BB every so often when work is slow which was NOT the case Friday holy cow!

Hey V! What was Friday? People signing up for summer classes?

I'm really sorry to hear about that panic attack. You have an overflowing plate, two jobs, two kids, and financial pressures, housing pressures, you name it.

((hugs))

I do know what you mean about the age. An old friend of mine (she's 91 now) told me once that most people seem to get "stuck" (for lack of a better word) at a certain age, in their mind - that's how they see themselves. I'm not sure exactly what age mine is, but it was late 20s, or early 30s. Atlanta, before I married. That's Me.

I do want to get PC, I hesitated because I don't know what our vacation plans are yet and I wondered how long it might take for stuff to get to me. I could always have it sent to you and get it from BFF eventually, I guess....

I'll decide by the 30th, thanks for the info!

With everyone out of school Friday they were out running errands. We were open. At some points in the day I was live chatting ( if you're an a website and ask to speak to someone live that's what I mean) helping someone different on a call and had three people deep in the showroom. Thankfully one of those was my brother bringing me birthday champagne so I just pointed to him and told him to go sit lol. And even my back up people who go to the warehouse to pull stock or grab the secondary phone lines were slammed. We had a new product launch Tuesday so all around that week was just gangbusters.

Wow on the 20 lbs of cherries!!
Are you going to make jam, pie, or just eat them?

Rest of day sounds very productive.

V, yikes on the anxiety attack. Come on here more often and vent, maybe things won't get pent up? I dunno but yikes and I'm glad you got through it.

Had to laugh at the "I don't feel 39". I don't feel over 50 -- mentally I still think of myself as 25 years younger!!

Today will be doing some cleaning tasks that can be done ahead of Australia visitors next Saturday...

Another couple things checked off the list -- basement swept; basement dusted; basement steps washed.

That's it for the basement. It'll have to just stay presentable for a week.

Today we're going to TSP the walls in the RV, then sand, wipe, prime at least though I doubt we'll get round to actually painting.

And strangely enough, it hasn't reached 100 here yet this year. 99 yes, 100 no. That will be later next week.

Our neighbours finally moved out yesterday. Her husband got moved to Prescott back in March so she was taking her time getting the house ready to sell. Put it on the market 3 weeks ago, had an offer at asking price within a week and the actual closing is tomorrow. Hope this bodes well for us later this year.

Do you have pictures of your ongoing progress? I'd love to live my cross-country RV dream vicariously

Wrose - there's a stomach but going around here. DS has had a sore stomach with a bit of nausea and occasional diarrhea for a week now - the doc said it could be as much as two weeks...

V - so sorry to hear about the anxiety attack - that sounds so scary... Does stress bring them on or is it just random?

ERK and Marge - I'm inspired by your cleaning

Job done so he can now finish the shadow box he's been working on. Yesterday morning before it got too hot, we painted the shed, touched up the patio roof supports, the parts of the patio roof we've just replaced and under the eaves out front where we had some work done in a couple of spots. Then power washed and painted the deck out back too. Going to chill for the rest of today, I think.
Holy cherry flavored cow! Lots of work!

BTW if I put box tops in the mail tomorrow, will you get them in time? I meant to send them for months for the DS's school since I feel a bit attached but with Dr putting me on the buporose diet I spaced. I know the school year's ended for them.

She got it rapido. So it was two cents over but that's okay.
I feel so bad. Other than Christmas I just do cards for my family.

My long term plan for back yard includes a fire pit. I love them!

V - I found the link (http://www.pamperedchef.biz/pattidai...=products-main) so you don't have to link it again

My order is in!
