Yesterday I ran out for a mani/pedi right before the salon closed. My nails were still black from StazOn ink after a solid week of Stampscapes stamping....and after two weekends of basement work the nails and cuticles were a mess, not just black. And needed a pedi to get ready for sandal season because it is actually warming up. So I got "Sand Tropez" color. Nail tech must think I'm very boring and neutral.

After the art fair I went to Ace HW and got mulch....spread mulch in the front courtyard and a couple hanging plants. After such a long drawn out winter I was craving color...

My purple phlox looks stunning right now. Thats the pear tree branch with the white blooms.

So it's a go on the Pampered Chef fundraiser. I'm also going to be doing an Origami Owl fundraiser. Let me see how quickly I can get that up and running and also I'll get the link for the PC party here in a sec

It's a jewelry home party thing where you sort of mix and match pieces and trinkets to get one suited to you. Let me see if I can find a link.

OK, thanks. Hadn't heard of these. After looking, I think they are targeting a younger / trendier customer than old Sand Tropez Marge

Marge, lots of copper jewelery in Bisbee. Very eclectic/artsy place. Fun day out.

After we got back from Bisbee, we fetched the RV so we could put the kitchen counter back in. Now just waiting for the sink to arrive. Kitchen counters, tap and new sink less than $200. Checked out our fabric samples, too. We've now picked one out. Hobby Lobby opened here in March and we got ideas from there. Very similar to one we found in Hancock Fabrics at less than half of the price. Grin.

I am over all the wind, allergies and dust. DS2 needs to get a good nights sleep - hasn't slept through properly since last Saturday so I haven't slept well either. Poor kid.

LOL They're probably used to it with the "older ladies."

How did she (I assume it was a female) get the StazOn out???

Sharks win! A great win tonight, at home, third game of the playoffs, and we won the first two in Vancouver.

It's over a mile high, very steep hills to walk up. If you follow 80 south look left of it and you see the huge hole in the ground from current copper mining. Opencast. Used to be below surface which was how the town came to be. I think there is a modern part of the town south of the mine but we didn't go down there. We were less than 10 miles from Mexico! And north of Tombstone we did have to go through a border patrol checkpoint. Looked in the car, saw 4 caucasians and sent us on our way. They don't racially profile of course.

DH did a very very sweet and kind thing for me tonight.

YDS wanted to go out to dinner, to one of the local places that we like. I didn't feel like going out, so YDS and DH went by themselves. (ODS had symphonic band practice so he was still at school.)

DH knows I really like the baby back ribs there, and even though he likes them too he doesn't often order them. They offer a half rack, and for just $4 more you can order a whole rack.

DH ordered a whole rack and brought half of it home for me. When I saw the container I thought he was planning to take them for his lunch tomorrow, but he insisted that I go ahead and have them. And since I hadn't eaten any supper yet, he didn't have to twist my arm.

They were sooooo yummilicious.

I went thru a roll of ATG tape in the last week.

I finished up 8 more Christmas cards today. They turned out nice. I haven't scanned or anything yet.

Woke up at 4:30am to catch flight yesterday. In to work after landing, got home by 6pm, walked and fed pups, fell asleep on couch. Cat woke me up by nuzzling my nose until I woke up. Walked dogs, fed everyone, back in to work... whee.

My plan for this coming weekend is to vegetate like a rotting head of broccoli.

You know, rotting broccoli smells AWFUL. Ask me how I know.....

Oh well I can tell you. This was when we still lived in FL. I noticed a bit of disgusting smell over by my sink. Nothing obvious after looking, so I ran the disposal, used some baking soda, cleaned the sink, etc. Smell seemed gone. Nope, it returned after the cleaning smell was gone. I cleaned other things as the next 3-4 days went by, and that darn smell was just getting worse. Then - I found it - a TINY bit of broccoli in the silverware bucket hanging on the dish drainer!!!! OMG!!! Who knew a tiny bit of food that small could smell SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
