Didn't affect us! Actually, DH woke me this morning to tell me my alarm hadn't gone off at 5.50. I looked and mine said 5.10. Looked at my watch. 5.10 also. His atomic alarm clock went forward overnight! Our kitchen clock did it yesterday and my alarm clock has yet to do it!

DH took care of moving our clocks forward Saturday night.

Since he was gone at work today, I spent part of the morning getting our clocks in better sync with each other. I don't mind a minute or two of variance from one to another, but it does NOT take me 5 minutes to walk from the kitchen to the bedroom.

Maybe. That show was before my time!

I saw some of the episodes on Nick at Nite back in the mid 80s or so.

When dad got a color TV in the early to mid sixties, only a few shows were in color. Like Bonanza. And of course the NBC peacock would show up before those shows. Disney's Wonderful World of Color was also a favorite.

I think I remember Bewitched going from B&W to color. Probably a few others too.

Ah yes, there it is, in IMDB for Bewitched:

Black and White (1964-1966)| Color (1966-1972)

I'm sorry, but it seems more seasonable to me to have 14 inches of snow in March than 90 degree temperatures.

After all, it's considered winter until March 20 here in the Northern Hemisphere, and winter is more closely associated with snow than hot temperatures.

I don't mind 90s in June, July, August and even early September, but in March? Le gasp.

Ha ha, after years in Atlanta, then Florida, now here, I no longer think of March as winter. I USED to, though! I'd laugh at the groundhog - it doesn't matter if he sees his shadow or not, where *I* grew up, there were ALWAYS six more weeks of winter after Feb. 2nd!!!

But the rest of this week, our weather is going to be strikingly like Orlando's, until Saturday. Actually it's supposed to be 81 here on Wed. - that must be what's headed to Arizona on Thursday. It's only supposed to be 75 in Orlando!

Hey. we did have 6 inches of snow 2 weeks ago. 90 is about 20 degrees above "average" whatever that is these days. Friday we had 50mph winds which blew down next doors ocotillo cactus and it was only around 55 during the day. Today 75, tomorrow 80 a warming trend! It's going to cool to about 80 again by Monday. If you can ever believe the forecasters. My friends from the UK arrive next Wednesday. I told them they could just buy shorts and t shirts when they get here.

I think it was two springs ago that we had several days of 90s and had to run the a/c, I'm thinking it was in April. Still way too early for that, very weird.

Daylight Savings Time in the spring sucks socks that smell.

OK more catching up this evening...

I know it would be very bad form after getting so sick this week, but some days I wish I could just call in cranky.

Till Friday night.

Then he'll probably fly back the next week (I'm assuming).

I heard him up at 2:30am to shower. Limo was supposed to come at 3:15am. I must have fallen back asleep because I did not hear it, and when I got up at 6 his backpack, laptop, shoes in the entryway, etc were gone.

Ungodly early pickup. But they wanted a full day from him when he arrived.

Well, I just saw a sign of spring.

The neighbor behind us was in his yard, whacking his balls.

I used to think of March as more spring than winter. When I was growing up, we'd start planting the garden by the end of March, and the air would start feeling warmer in the daytime.

The last few years though... not so much.

It seems like the temperatures have shifted the seasons a month or so... so that spring starts in April, and summer starts in July, and fall starts in October or November, and winter is just totally confused.

Couldn't possibly be that global warming stuff they talk about on the news, or anything like that...

Here I don't feel like Winter starts til February. We often have doors and windows open in Thanksgiving, have even eaten outside. We play a lot outside in December because it tends to be warm enough and the wind is less until a storm passes thru. January starts getting cold and Feb is cold enough to ***** about but still not use a real coat. Then March is wet and April is already too hot for me. I like October. lol

So just wasting time before I head off for another interview. Would LOVE it if they offer me something right then and I can cancel the interview for later today.

I didn't get an offer (yet ) but I did get what to me was above and beyond explanation of the position and benefits and was told that they really liked me. They have two other people to interview then they do call backs and I'd interview with another person. It is a really cool place to be. I'm feeling hopeful on this one.

I've been to the Post Office already, and Starbucks of course. It is nice out. A tiny bit chilly at the start, in the low 50s, but should be gorgeous. There was a huge fog bank between me and the nearby hills to my east, very cool.
