Debra, I want to put our tree up, but J is dragging his feet. I'll probably put it up tomorrow. I need to haul it down from the attic. This week is A's last week of being homeschooled, full time. I'm sad, excited, and anxious all at the same time.
Our snow has almost all melted. We barely had a dusting. There is some left on the roofs, but the grass and cement are just wet. I am SO ready for snow! I am not looking outward to walking in it every day, but I'm ready just the same. I am going to miss sitting in my house, watching the neighbors drive their kids to school. I guess I had a good one year run!

I won't be carrying anything up from the basement, Pony. I did a number on my neck and shoulder baking pies and Julekage and then helping to carry furniture. I should never have done the furniture thing.
My only real whine with the snow is that everyone forgets how to drive in it. And I'll have the van with a thousand pounds of food and somewhat iffy tires.

Ouch! No more furniture moving or you! I'll go to the attic and hand the stuff to A. He doesn't like going into the attic, because he's sure he's going to fall through the floor.
Yesterday we cleaned cattle pens, and the wind was blowing cold, so I don't think the snow will be melting very quickly.
Today is church, then we're headed to Frankenmuth for our birthday dinners. We signed up in Zehnder's for their birthday club, and since both our birthday's are in November, we get a "free" day out.
Prolly not going to do decorations here this year. Might do a small tree tho, since we will be headed over to the farm house after the holidays. I don't feel like unpacking all of the decorations then repacking them. Dan's fine with it, so me too.
Cathy, I saw that last night on tv too. Not quite sure how that works, since most farmers are out in the field, so how do they have time to work the site?

It doesn't get much better than free buttered noodles!
Oh sure have a snowball fight while I'm here in the house! That's ok tho, at least my butt is nice and warm, and not a block of ice, like it was yesterday.
