Nikki, Sarah and Strider did so well last w/end. I was so proud of them We took a picnic over on Friday evening and then hung around for hours until they went into the ring. Yvonne, Lisa and Joycie came to cheer them on, I think Joyce lost the will to live about half way through!!! LOL
I think its redonculous they dont do checks in school! They wouldnt have so many cases that way I think! And people have to clean their house properly too! We have the same kids that have it all the time!
Night ladies... I know most of ou are in bed and won't even see this, but I need to talk
Found out last Monday my Dad had an echocardiogram done... Results poor. They referred him to Cardiologist. I took him today. Dr. Got results of tests faxed and said there are major issues. His valve is broken and as started effecting his aorta. He's scheduled for a hert cath next Monday AM. His memory is getting SOOO bad and it's like a puzzle. One thing is more clear, I bet he cant remember crap because the blood flow to his brain is a problem. The dr. Also already mentioned heart surgery (depending on results Mon morn). I feel so scared. Like he's a walking time bomb
PLEASE say a prayer that if anything happens its while he's with people not home alone.
I can't even describe the headache/brain fog I'm feeling from stress & info overload
Sorry I can't read back, I'm on my way to bEd.
I'll try to e back sooner... I'm sure chatting is good medicine for my achy brain
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
Hugs to Moe. Elaine, Maxie's Mom, and always Tim and Roxanne, too. Yesterday was not easy, a very nice family. I totally hate cancer. I do feel for Elaine waiting for news. I can only imagine. Distraction and denial, glad you finally got together.
I also hate the press and politicians for the most part. A: Leave that poor girl alone and quit speculating on twins she may or may not have. B: Put your ridiculous paychecks and retirement on the line instead of ours, you alpha hotels that have lost touch with any semblance of reality. What color IS the sky in your Washington world?
Rant for the day over. Aerobic Thursday coming up. We are having a pot luck, but I am bringing packaged cookies. I did leave work almost on time last night. Almost Saturday.
In honor of my friend Patty's Mom and mine. "Be good and have fun. If it comes to a choice... BE GOOD.
((hugs!!)) Moe! It's burned in my brain when Ben had his heart cath. Sitting there all by myself in the big scary hospital waiting for news. The good news is that he's finally getting something done, and he'll feel so much better.
Emma, ((hugs)) to Elaine and Maxi's mom! Cancer sucks.
Ben's company is National, it's a huge fancy party tonight. But the owners have been less than impressed with the level of undress by these little girls that attend. It's like a slutty prom with alcohol for them. The owners this year put the word out, tone it down. "no crack, front or back". lol! Love it. But there is fabulous food and tons of gifts.
