I need to have a word with Cheri, and tell her to hurry up or we're getting a setter!!! Ha!
We were talking to Sarah about it last night and Roy suggested she look at other breeds but she said that once a Collie has your heart, he has you forever. We'll wait. It's killing me to wait. Especially, as it looks like Blondie reabsorbed her puppies (the roughs), so no puppies from her
Any other news on what the toxin or virus might have been?

Emma, that sounds great! The next time I'm over Moe's way, I need her Brian to look at my netbook and see if we can speed it back up. I'd love to buy a new notebook but it's out of the question!

Corey's laptop is slow now that he has CAD loaded on it for school. I want to get something for myself that I can load MDS on.

I think I need a new alarm clock. Mine goes off at 6:30. I hit snooze and the next time it goes off is 7:06. I don't THINK I hit snooze three more times without realizing it.

April's owner (Ann) works in the path labs at U of M and so she very kindly offered to take the report in and show her team for ideas. This was the e:mail back :
One of our Doctors looked at the autopsy report and she says the cause
of death is one of those strange unknown types, just as the original
vet said. The most likely is an infection or toxin but the
mineralization takes time and would indicate that it most likely
occurred one month or more before the death. She said
it was one of those deaths that leaves the vets scratching their heads
and not being able to really tell what happened. Ann
So I guess the easy answer to that was 'no'. I don't think we'll ever find out. But it was a complete fluke so hopefully we won't ever experience that again.

This is what I got. What swayed me was the 6 easy-payments. Not a huge chunk of change straight up. Lisa W, if I made a horrible mistake, please don't tell me!!! Although it hasn't shipped yet, so I can cancel.
Ouch... CAD does slow a machine down. Do you already have MDS? (My pea-brain says "yes" but I don't remember for sure.)
Yeah, I had it on our desktop downstairs that is now toast.

Emma, I can't see that link here at work, but Lisa helped me pick out a Dell laptop. So it must not be too horrible, lol! Mine's a 17" though. I love it. It's all speedy. I've not had a speck of trouble with it.
Oh, and that Downton prequel sounds heavenly! My Twitter timeline explodes every Sunday night with all these Brits talking about it. Makes me crazy. It sounds like Shirley is a hit.
Emma, my first Dell I financed directly from Dell. I loved that. They had a build it online thing. This one I bought from Best Buy. It was pretty cheap.
Took today off. FIL is having some back pain and other issues going on. Couldn't get an apt with his family dr til 4.30, and I won't be able to make it back to work by 6, when my co worker leaves, so I got someone to work from 6-9.
I'm thinking they might want some xrays or additional labs done while in Bad Axe. I did take him to the walk in clinic in Habor Beach over the weekend, and some of his lab work was questionable. Let's pray it's not at the worst end of the "what it might be" scale.
