I'm going to end up purging more stuff? I can just feel it happening! I have stuff I don't use and with this new found outlook, I realize I just get rid of it.
The boxing up and shipping is the worst part, I agree!
Well, I'm hoping it's all good! I'll have to spend the evening with my sister and her not-smart husband! Boy, I sure do hope nobody has too much to drink!

I should be walking out the door. I can't move from this chair. Would anyone like to run my errands for me, please? I also realized I need a haircut NOW! I'm scheduled for next week, but I don't know what I'm going to do with this mess for the wedding.

Emma, we did get some good pumpkins. The boys picked little ones. They mostly just liked me pushing them around in the wheelbarrow. Since they are about 200lbs together, I am counting that as CrossFit for yesterday. Haha!

Renewed 2 magazines I wasn't going to for the grandkiddies' school. I wish they would just send a note asking for a check instead of doing fundraisers. Pretty sure they aren't allowed but this is a private school so why not? I would have sent a check but then the darlings wouldn't get some goofy prize they don't need but love. I guess I'm glad it's not candy. We used to be offered an opt out for a fee and usually took it though DH and I have sold plenty of candy to coworkers too. Why is it the fundraising is rarely actually done by the kids?

Lisa, as years of acting as fundraising coordinator for our local sports club, the opt-out fee idea was the best one we ever had. We tried to make "prizes" for the teams that raised the most, rather than sold the most.
But, it's hard when the company that makes the fundraiser material (candy, magazines, whatever) is the one offering the prizes. The "don't need but love" comment is spot on. It's hard for the kids to miss out. They don't understand the manipulation. sad...
But you're a good grandma! And they will always remember that "my grandma always bought xyz from me."

Does anybody scuba dive or know any scuba divers? I have my scuba air tank that I seriously doubt I'll ever use again. I am willing to give it away free to a good home. Or even to a bad home.
