They did today because it was the last day! She text me and I left immediately but he was gone when I got there and she said for at least 10 minutes she was by herself! Its crap!
Went tonight to Beaumont for a free class on 'weight control.' I always get sucked into these stupid things, when all I want to do is talk with a dietician and have them help me individualize an eating plan for me. This was like a Medi-Fast program, where you eat replacement meal shakes and bars. Sorry, this sista likes FOOD! Not to mention, 18 shakes cost $40.50. Um, 18 shakes is approximately 4 days. I would pay prolly $300 just for shakes, not counting on all the supplements and bars and tests and group costs. WOW! My friend at work told me that WW now has a diabetic meal plan...I'm going to look into that. I'm not totally comfortable with drinking my meals, kwim??

I just shared them with my fellow HYCCT hostesses. One of the new hostesses this year is dealing with breast cancer right now and her hair is just growing back it's about an inch and half long now, she wants to dye her whole head so that as it grows out just the tips are pink. We're trying to give her encouragement to do it, she's very honored to ask to be a hostess but she's having a rough time of it. Today she PM'd me that she cried for over two hours after reading my write up for my "for the kiddo's" card - I felt bad
Ended up at MSU with the 'lil shih tzu. Many more answers for not a ton of money. She's probably had a chronic respiratory thing for years....part physical, part repeated infections. It'll take me a couple of months to get her fixed up, and she'll always require some care and observation. But I feel better knowing "stuff".

No buyers remorse despite the almost $800 car repair today once I came home to find DH sitting home while ppb is out partying in his vehicle. No remorse AT ALL. I should have bought the more expensive machine. Wonder if I could trade up once I get to the store? Kidding, the upgrade is $1200 more and only has 1 feature more that I want and 3 or 4 features that seem completely over the top ridiculous. Man, oh man, that girl can not leave fast enough for my taste.

L is driving me nuts with her language arts homework...she's in the advanced class and the teacher is piling on the work. We just don't see eye to eye on anything and of course, I have no idea what I'm doing. Gah!

Interesting phishing today. We were notified our credit card was declined for comcast billing and needs updating. Hmm, we don't pay by credit card. Weird e-mail link after it says comcast customer. Don't remember getting that before.
Yay for lil dogs that are doing better and kids that respond to real threats. It probably would have worked here too if both of us had done it. Caught up, need to chill a bit. Taping the debate because I'll be in bed before it starts.

Just got done cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, doing the dishes, mopping the entry, and taking 5 bags of trash to the bin! Holy crap, we throw a lot of junk out!

Went to our first Junior Livestock Association meeting. What fun! NOT LOL!
Boss is being a not very nice boss - denied Friday off for me - finally talked her into 1/2 day. Stupid reason of trying not to approve time off near the 10th of the month off for people. Asked for another day off - denied. REALLY!? 32 days of leave time and I cannot get a day approved!?@ SO mental health days here I come!!
Thank goodness for 6 months of easy pay from QVC!
