The drink of the week is Marshmallow vodka and limeade. It is like key lime pie in a martini glass. Evil genius.
These are not the droids you're looking for... I am not here.
Sounds like Mingler fodder. Maybe we can have a move about the room and taste a shot of many evil concoctions now that there are so many wonderful flavors. Key lime sounds dangerous. Each table has a different theme for those that want to participate?

I'll take it under consideration. I do want to spend a bit of time sewing a pair of flannel pants for myself, then start on Christmas gifts for the kid.

random: Does anyone know if they still make Sweater Shavers???
I don't know if they still make them, but I have mine from 1992! I love that darn thing! And there's a story about ownership that goes with that! Maybe another day!
Lisa I'm glad you're home and not feeling to rough! I had every intention of going to PH last night after work but I just couldn't find the energy, I'm bad
I'm really tired tonight, can't even seem to see straight! I think I'm off to veg for a while.
Has anybody had the Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses? Oh my word! They are SO GOOD - if you do not like white chocolate, then I would say don't try them. I think they are delightful!
I didn't know those existed, but now I must get some!

I have to tell you guys something that has been bothering me all day. I missed a callout this morning. Jake heard it but didn't come get me. It was my neighbor and she was barely breathing. My other neighbor/fellow EMT went and had to do CPR. She didn't make it. I feel awful about missing that call, but at the same time kinda glad that I didn't have to do CPR on her. How awful am I?
You are not awful at all! That would be so hard to have to do CPR on someone you know.

So, today some coworkers and I had a meeting with the rudest man I've ever met. Let me tell you, being a billionaire doesn't make a person very nice. What a colossal asshole he was. We've never had anyone talk to us so disrespectfully. It was appalling. I kind of hope he decides not to hire us so I never have to talk to him again. Very glad I'm on vacation next week. I am going into the office on Monday morning, but that's it. Then I'm gone the rest of the week.

It was so obnoxious. He certainly was under no obligation to agree with what we were proposing, but being condescending, rude, and snotty is just uncalled for. Nobody deserves such treatment. If I didn't think I'd get fired for it, I would have walked out of the meeting. But this jerk isn't worth getting fired for. So I sat there calmly and reminded myself that his asshole behavior was all about him and had nothing to do with the rest of us.

Unfortunately, there are people in this world that get off by pushing others around. I'm glad that you were able to keep calm and ignore his rudeness. I would hate to see you start you're vacay in jail or without a job.
Thanks for all the advice girls. We are trying to figure out what to do about the husband. He was transferred to a bigger (and better, if you ask me) hospital. We really should go visit him, pay our respects. But we also have a wedding tomorrow and its a 45 min drive one way. But none of us (Randy, me and a friend who was close to the couple too) are good with this kind of thing. Although, who is really?
