I think I need a Windows8 class. This is driving me nuts. I feel like I've taken 12 steps backwards! And I'm still having an issue with Java! This is a new computer, so it can't be the computer, right?

Since I can't do any of my morning gaming, I'm just sitting here hitting refresh! I should shift, but I don't want to. Maybe the computer is trying to force me into a 12 step program!

You're welcome... however we just learned it was a trial period and will cost money to renew. Ralph said he didn't see anything about that when he registered so he was not happy.

Thanks Joyce. I'm glad for a diagnosis. It was driving me crazy with all the symptoms and no understanding of what the issue was. Now I have to come to terms with the diet. I'm. Sure I'll be able to expand what I can eat once I figure out the trigger foods. It just sucks to have to do it. At least it wasn't something else that is worse.

I suppose I could put the cookies on the table and just chase them around with my face and hope one ends up in my mouth.

It's just the monster carnival thingy that is only free for the first month. You can still use the rest of the site, chores/reward system.

I actually signed up a month ago and didn't roll it out until just now. So that first month went by without us using it at all. I did sign up for the 6 months of that though to see how that goes.

The kids want to spin the wheel!

Hmm. I'll have to look at it again. Can't say my mind has been fully functioning this week. I was having mild anxiety attacks earlier in the week so concentration has been lacking. I think it was due to the procedure. I was pretty nervous about it.

That would be what SU said. Here is part of what they stated in a Q and A on the website when they started offering clear mount.

Q: What are the features of clear-mount stamps?
A: Clear-mount stamps are an option for high-quality rubber stamps from Stampin' Up! This new option offers a compact storage solution and is great for those that prefer repositionable stamps with fewer blocks.
We will continue to carry all of our stamps in the wood-mount option. While one stamper may prefer wood-mount, another may prefer clear-mount, and still others may prefer a little of both. The best option is whatever fits your needs the best!
Q: Are the clear-mount stamps completely clear, so the whole stamp is see-through?
A: The clear-mount stamps are made of the same high-quality red rubber as our wood-mount stamps so they are not clear. The foam is the same thickness and density as our wood-mount foam but it has a cling property on the back so it can cling to clear blocks. When you use our clear-mount stamps with our clear blocks you can see through the placement of the die-cut stamp through the block. There is also an image label for the back of the stamp (between the block and the foam) that will help you position the stamp on the paper.
Stamps that are completely clear, called photopolymer stamps, do not offer the same image quality that you get with rubber stamps, and are prone to stretching and tearing. Our clear-mount stamps give you the ability to have repositionable stamps while retaining the crisp stamp images and durability that you only get with rubber stamps.
Q: Are there plans for acrylic (photopolymer) stamps in the future?
A: No. Photopolymer would have been an easy solution for repositionable clear-mount stamps, but it is prone to stretching, tearing, and discoloration, and cannot offer the quality and crisp, finely detailed images Stampin' Up! stamps are known for. Our commitment to offering the very best products in the crafting market simply would not allow us to offer an inferior product like photopolymer.

Yes, I'm still sitting here. No, I haven't even left the chair.

I need lunch, but nothing in the house sounds good. I cannot make another lunch out of chips & salsa.

Yes, I was a little concerned when I got the email that said my membership was expiring, but when I went to the site I saw that it said:

ChoreMonster is free to use with the exception of the Monster Carnival and Monster Marketplace.

Purchasing a membership for ChoreMonster gains your child access to a the Monster Carnival. The Monster Carnival is our marketplace for your child to win new monsters and in the near future gain access to games, puzzles, and virtual goods in the Monster Marketplace, among many other things. Each chore your child completes earns them a single ticket to spin the wheel and win monsters or consolation prizes in the Monster Carnival. Without a membership, your child will still be able to complete chores and gain points towards rewards, but will not earn tickets.

So have no fear!

I went to Jimmy John's. They freak me out a little when they all yell at you when you walk in the door and when you leave.

Does Alexis have the app? We have Android tablets and they don't have an app for that yet. So they just get on the browser to use it.

I love Twitter. It's where I get my news now. Like this little gem from NPR: Sinkhole swallows sleeping man in Florida.

Really, what more could you possible want?

I love clear stamps. I've never had them stretch or tear. They ink up beautifully, and for somebody who can't stamp straight, they're perfect. I always have a hard time getting good ink coverage with the red rubber.

I think it's amusing that they're now touting the stretching as a good thing. The clear stamps are flexible so you can bend it how you want it! Nice marketing.

I wonder how they are going to backtrack on their former comments about the photopolymer being an inferior product.

I'm a terrible stamper regardless of the type of stamp. Though I should do it just for fun for my own amusement, even if I never show it to anyone. It is soothing to stamp.

Practice makes perfect. I used to be a good stamper when I stamped more. Now I'm not.
