That boy is SO pitiful. If I lay anything where he can get to it - toss a jacket over the chair, whatever - he curls up on it. When I travel, he'll curl up on the floor on my dirty laundry!

I am picturing Bailey with her head stuck in a peanut butter jar. Probably not a good idea for her.

Good morning, again. I did manage to fall asleep, but dream land was NOT kind to me. Sometimes I wonder why the mind reaches back into the trenches and pulls people into dreams! Crazy!
It is a mess over here. The roads are just wet, but the walks and drives are all slush. And of course, my not-smart neighbors were parked in the street, so the end of the drive is a MESS! I keep telling A to get his butt out there, but he's stalling.
I'm still stoked about connecting with Pony on Ancestry.com yesterday. How fun!
We got about 6" of wet, heavy snow. It's beautiful but the roads are yucky. Not impassable, unless you have a very light or rear-wheel drive vehicle. Still, it would have been a nice day to stay home.
How is everyone else?

Everything is in the house or garage, but we're moved. I've spent the last two days trying to find the kitchen in the am, while having to go to work in the afternoon. Waiting to see if a girl will work for me tomorrow, so I can spend the whole day getting organized.
Nothing can be completely set out, we need to get trim on all the rooms yet. Once we get that done, the bedroom and craft room will be done. Then we have to wait til the middle of March for the guy to come in and finish the living room and kitchen vinyl, then the trim work.
The cat has been exploring the house since Sunday. His stuff has a new home down in the basement. We haven't gotten his window seat up yet, but I'm sure he will enjoy the view once we do.
That's wonderful! I'm so happy for you! A lot of work but I'm sure you will love it when it's all settled in.

I have two whole coworkers with me here in the office now.
And I have everybody and their brother here with me today, including my husband who stopped in to let me know he's good for another year with the cardiologist.
A's school district already called and said tomorrow is a snow day! Now we're just waiting for E's district. E has already said, "If my bro isn't going to school, I'm not going to school!"
Very definite of him!

Well, that's good news, at least!
Everyone is here today. I don't think we got it nearly as bad as you folks to the east.

I got so sucked into ancestry that I forgot to eat dinner last night.
You people that "forget" to eat are a mystery to me. My stomach would never let me forget. It's by sheer will power alone that I don't eat 8 meals a day. I wish I would forget sometimes.

Don't worry, Lisa. It makes up for the times when I will eat 8x per day, just because.

Joycie, thank you for the beautiful card! That was so sweet of you.
Card? What is this card you speak of? I vaguely remember something called "stamping" and "card" had something to do with it. Oh, well, maybe it will come to me.

All the schools are closed in our county. Have about 3-4" here but I was surprised it was not slippery, just pulling with all the heavy slushy snow. We had a LOT of sleet here yesterday which is better than freezing rain as you at least have something to "grip" into.
Not sure it you all know or not - broke my foot on the eve of the 12th and had surgery on the 19th to put in a screw. Snapped the fifth metatarsal in the middle.
I saw that on FB. Hope it heals quickly!

Did something I hadn't done in a year. Gave a goldie treeber the peanut butter jar. LOL!
This morning's shocking experience. Lay clothes out on the bed. Go to get dressed. Pull on sweater. Remember that A> Ewok has been outside, and B> that Ewok likes to lay on your clothes. Melted snow. It's COLD AND WET.

We were eating breakfast and heard a bam on the patio. Somehow, a squirrel had gotten on the roof to our patio and knocked our home-made bird feeder over! What a clever guy! It was hanging by a hook and somehow he got it off. I ended up just spreading the seeds out from the patio for all to enjoy.
Morning!

When I went to bed, I was still tickled! It's amazing and fun! So, can I still call you Sis or do I refer to you as Cousin?
I want to know if I'm related to Emma, too. My great-grandmother Hoover's family traces all the way back through England to France, before the Norman invasion. It's very, very interesting!

My mom is really into genealogy. On my dad's side one of my relatives wrote a huge book about the descendents of John Brownfield. And another one traced that side of the family back to England and Wales, and all the variations of the name Brownfield. Farmers from way back, lol!

I don't recall which family name it its, but I have a line of relatives from Yorkshire!
Geneology is not going to work for me, my Mom swears I was born on Monkey Island at the San Francisco zoo. My brother got us pieces of it when it was dismantled years ago. Dead end there. I have no reason to doubt her claims.
