Today is flying by! A friend came over to see all of the new stuff and we ran out to lunch. Then came back and never did stamp. We did make a fabric flower though. the ones you make with the sticky circles. We had fun!
AND before we went to lunch Jack called me. Calling is a rarity. He had wonderful news. You know the horrible boss he used to have that puts his nose in everywhere even when he isn't your boss? Well, he changed positions. Is in a different area and building. Which means he will not be a thorn for Jack any more. Such good news.
That is wonderful news! And it sounds like you had a nice day with your friend, even without stamping!

Emma, my heart is so heavy for Elaine. I am so sorry. Praying for them. One of George's brothers has a murmur. It turned out to be pretty minor and he is thriving. I hope that is the case for Charlie. (((Hugs)))

I have been in a mood all day! I just cant get all the stuff she said out of my head!! And then when we got to the car she looked up at me and said, "Are you mad at me for being bad?"

I am having breakfast with my besties. Can't wait. Poor Elaine is going through the wringer right now. And to top it off, her Golden puppy, Charlie, couldn't be spayed on Monday because they found a heart murmur Haven't they dealt with ENOUGH?
Well, I hope it turns out to be minor. They do need to check it out.
Still, poor Elaine. She must feel like she's been run over repeatedly.

She is being tested. Some of you know that her hubby has some pretty serious health stuff going on right now too. So now the dog too? It just seems so unfair.
Lots of heart testing happening right now at great expense. I hope she's going to be OK, she's the cutest little furball.
Awww..... her, her hubby AND her puppy? That does seem unfair.

I have not gotten enough sleep or exercised enough this week. This morning I should forego coffee and head to the ER and ask if they have intravenous Adderall. Mercy.

My biggest issue is how often I'm having them at night lately. I hope that is not a side effect of the melatonin. To have to choose between sleeping soundly and hot flashes does not appeal to me.

Things are going pretty well, Laura. Like you, I have not exercised enough this week - but, then again, I seldom do!
David is working 3rd shift this week and next. An experiment they are trying. It will be interesting to see if/how he adapts (he seems to be doing well so far) and if they decide they want to continue this. If they do, I wonder if he'll want to stay on it. It's funny because he is packing his lunch every night (none of the delis are open overnight) and it makes him seem so mature.

I'm kicking the covers off very frequently, myself. It's annoying.
Lisa, I found melatonin to be a Godsend. I wasn't sleeping at all and it really, really helps. Even with the hot flashes, I'm going right back to sleep and that is huge for me!

Our high was 31. Unfortunately, it's supposed to go down from there.
I also have some tea that's supposed to help you sleep. Unfortunately, it has valerian in it. I didn't read the box. I'm one of the rare people that gets WIRED on valerian.

Lisa, I have things like that, too. Where I have the opposite reaction. Vicodin is one. When I tell people that I can't take Vicodin, they look at me like I'm crazy.
I tried another herbal remedy that wired me, too. Oh, I know! It was that "neuro" stuff - the sleep kind. It knocks Jay out. It keeps me awake for hours!
