Micki-I did 4 sets last weekend. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. Even though I've made them before they seemed easier this time.

Evening girls! Sounds like lots of stamping going on today. I got together with some friends and finished my Christmas cards and some sour cream containers that I'd started.
Now I just have to package the coasters I made. I'm thinking of putting them in large cellophane bags (so that you can see the design on the top tile)-just tied with a ribbon.
Kim-8am-8pm??? Long day! Hope it wasn't too busy.
Joyce-yea for stamping, boo on the 2 hour drive home. Where is that transporter when you need it?!?!
Ok-I'm fading fast-off to bed. Hope everyone sleeps well.

Howdy! I just want to pull up a chair, a blanket, a cuppa and just sit and stare into Minglerville all night long!
I'm so far behind! It was a busy week, filled with good and sad stuff all at the same time. To start, my friend passed away, yesterday. I fell terrible for her husband and kids. She was only two months younger than me and the cancer did not treat her kindly. Each round hit her HARD. I am at peace knowing she is no longer in pain, but boy oh boy, she is going to be missed.
Good news: I have done my job with Andrew! TO give you the cliff note version, I went to finalize A's IEP and found out I have taught him more than he would have learned in public school! I was concerned that he'd struggle, but it seems like he is VERY prepared! Now if only he applies himself! Thank you for allowing me to toot my own horn.
Good news: I can bake! Again, the cliff note version, I had to make a cake for J's birthday, didn't have everything I needed. I kept trying a new idea, only to find I didn't have that item, so I just made up my own recipe. The cake was so amazingly moist & i made the most awesome home made butter cream frosting! I don't normally consider my baking as something to brag about, but that cake ROCKED! Again, thank you for that moment.
Good news: Today, I went to the Salvation Army looking for some new skirts. I walked out with four brand new skirts for $3.69! Yes, the skirt still had the original tags! One is a wool skirt from Eddie Baurer!
And the SAB and spring mini arrived on Friday! OH my goodness! I need to find a job! I LOVE the spring mini!
Pony, you have a job. You are an excellent teacher among all your other jobs. My condolences on your loss. Been there, done that. I hate cancer. I don't hate much, but I do HATE that.
Patty, hang in there. A house full of your kids will do wonders for you, maybe. Mom is smiling down on you.
Kim, hope you are sleeping in with dreams of Zac. And Dan, of course.

Enough time on the computer. I'm sewing most of the day. I would like to get all the projects done and wrapped so I can get started on cards. I really should do the sewing in the living room idea but what a mess folks would see when they came in the door! Better not.

The grocery store was crazy yesterday, but Carter and I busted through it and got out of there as quick as we could.
Corey and I went to Luca's Chophouse in Grand Blanc last night. It was good. Then we went to see Skyfall in Imax. Great movie. The theater was packed with all the Twilight people. It was nuts!

I so wanted to go and see the Twilight movie Thursday evening. But decided I was much to old to hang out that late. I will try and see if while on vacation.
