Nikki, I love the card/invite!!! And The suggestion Patty made about hanging a tag with "surprise" on it is perfect!!!
Emma, I'm not doing a rain dance but when it does rain I'm praying all is well with the new roof!
I have a very big jump on my Christmas cards and ran out of adhesive. Well not all out but I know I won't have enough for the inside layer. Guess a trip to JoAnne's is in my near future. I did get to see Lisa H!!! Thank goodness I didn't have to work today.
Sounds like a few of us got "crafty" this week-end.
Welcome home Lisa W.
Laura, great new avatar!!! What a wonderful idea to dress up and go out!
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!
Patty, I'm not sure about red with black and gold. How predominant are those colors?
Is that seriously screwed up grammar, or what? Is Laura gonna come and git me?
The gold is pretty dominant, but the black is just an outline.
Ben & Kait, who've both had a pagan studies class, tell me that it looks okay & that the stag was a good choice, but I'm afraid they're coming from a younger class than I am

Hello again. I pressed the button on the order. I opted for stripes for the window in the family room. Now we have our new door wall in, I thought I really needed to dress up the window. They are smart.
The bedroom is going to be totally girlie. Roy doesn't mind one bit. So I went faded and vintage. I hope I didn't make a mistake ....
But my gut said it was right so let's hope I can make a decent job of the curtains now. LOL.
Does anyone else get impatient and want their online order to arrive 10 mins AFTER they hit submit? Hee hee.
I think I'm most excited about the gun cabinet, the story there is that my dad cut the trees himself and had them made into lumber and then my grandfather used them to make the cabinet. Right now it's really, really dark and I want to brighten it up, not sure if I'll just strip it or if I'll paint it.
We have a few hunting guns that I need to store Debra, right now they're just in our closet and luckily my kids never bothered them but I inherited my dad's handgun and I just want them in a locked cabinet.
