Good morning. I love my job, I love my job. I make more $$ for crafting when I start early.
Yvonne, thinking of you. I doubt I will get a card out but you are in my prayers.
I don't remember when the catalogs hit the general population, but I am excited. I know for sure I will be getting the new black ink pad, the old ones are useless. I don't know why I felt I needed every color pad, I rarely use the colors. But, I don't stamp as often as I should and need to.
Time to pack up my lunch. Happy Wednesday.

cathy yes I will, a few things were starting to drive me NUTS but the job i interviewed for was alternating 7-4, 8-5 schedules so I would hate that, but here is pretty much just work your 40hrs whenever you can, which is so awesome and now that it is the same $$ as I asked for at the other job I'll stay

Jakie-poo was out there howling this morning. I bet he was scared from the storms we got last night. Poor guy. Corey said he actually did pretty good when he was working with him yesterday so there is hope.

Poor Jake. I think he needs a cookie and a belly rub. I hope he didn't wake up the whole neighborhood. Good to hear there is hope!
Roxanne, I am so happy for you!
C had a party in the wee hours of the night. He was quiet enought the first few minutes to make quite the mess. George dimed him out. "Timmy isn't stuck down the well, but he is running amok. He didn't even let me out of my kennel to join in on the fun!"
thanks joyce....I also used to have my catalog bound and laminated but I was losing things in the crease.....I went to kinkos.....hmmIs that what happened she cut too much off?
no boss today and a show at macomb college later in the day...should make day fly by (I hope)

I wanted to thank you for allowing me to whine about my niece. Here's the part that is SO very sad. I have said from day one, she only got pregnant because she thought the boyfriend would quit cheating on her. Yes, the if-I-have-his-baby-he-won't-leave theory! That always works out well. The boyfriend has come and gone several times, but as it stands right now, it doesn't look like he's coming back and he doesn't seem to care about the baby. In my opinion, I think she's wanting to adopt the baby, because the boyfriend isn't sticking around, so the plan didn't work. Yes, it is her baby to do adopt out, if she wants. I suppose it's complicated. It's her baby, but my sister would be devastated to know her first grandchild was being raised by a different family. It wouldn't be the first time this has happened to a family, but it's always different when it's your own., I suppose.

OH NO NIKKI! I'll go to Kinko today, get one bound and mail it off to you. I have NEVER had them screw one up, ever. You poor girl. I posted your cheque and hoodie yesterday, priority, so hopefully they will arrive tomorrow. I'll send the book priority too so you don't have to wait too long!
Pony, that's tragic about your niece. Your poor sister. Is there any chance her daughter will allow her to adopt the baby?
My sister has told my niece, she will adopt the baby. My niece is being a brat, saying she my sis doesn't have the money to take care of a baby. As if my niece is loaded and as if that's a reason! My sister would be absolutely devastated if the baby is adopted out. The strange thing is, my initial (subconscious) thought when I found out my niece was pregnant was, "I'm going to end up with this baby." It scared me, but now I see how close to the truth it may have been!
Funny how that works. Too bad a sick kid needs to be confined to bed for the day with no toys or games or fun stuff.
Yup.... too sick for school, too sick for fun.

I was watching that last night, too! You can only watch so much American Pickers and Pawn Stars. But I was amazed at the "stockpiles" that some of these people have. The woman with 10,000 bottles of flavored water for two people? Does she know that stuff has a 2 year shelf life? Or the woman who had bottles and bottles of men's body wash but only had a daughter? Unless you are donating a lot of stuff, I feel this is just another form of hoarding.
Now when the woman who made the big buy and donated it all to the local teen mom shelter was a different story. Or the woman in CA who was shopping for herself and her extended family. Still, 240 boxes of tic tacs was extreme but I could cut her a little slack on that.

But, their store in NC doubles coupons...don't think they do that here.
Jay and I were discussing that. No one has doubled coupons here in ages. And we don't have any 'rewards' cards either. Plus, some of these huge savings are merely the result of the member cards bringing down the original retail. One woman's card dropped $600 from her $1300 total. Be honest, you wouldn't have bought those things if they were actually the original price!

sigh.... so the niece is just being a brat. Your sis could raise this child, right? I'm sorry that the niece is being so unfeeling since your sis feels so strongly about it.
