I think it was in the 20's! I dressed warm and I wasn't cold at all.

Yup I was not happy! I was getting in the shower and complaining about the cold. DH checked the thermostat and it read 54! We were hoping that one of the boys hit the shut off by accident, no such luck! The tech came quickly, it helps to get the oil from a local company. The bill wasn't too bad but we have to pay for the oil that was delivered last week. I just hope dh gets a bonus this year!

It got to the mid 30's here today... And tomorrow is supposed to be the high 30's...

I went out and got the rest of the snow off the driveway, the sidewalk up to the front door and the front porch... It's much easier to do it when it's above freezing...

Pia ~ do you use LP or heating oil??? Just wondering what the price of LP was there... I contracted 600 gallons last fall for $1.79 a gallon... I'm loving this mild winter we're having...

It was 1 degree here at 7:30am and dh and I just ran to the store and the highest temp we got was 13 on the way over, and 9 on the way home! Brrr...

We use fuel oil and when I had our 275 gallon tank filled before Christmas I darn near had a heart attack writing the check!

heating oil, very close to $4/gallon! With the repair, I have to pay $1000 to the oil company asap!

WOW!!! Guess I better quit complaining about what I'm paying for LP...

Since I contract my LP, I pay equal payments for 12 months... I like that much better than having to write that HUGE check when they come and fill my tank... My heart isn't strong enough for that...

Yup, we do not the option of natural gas in our neighborhood. Is LP propane? We have a few houses here that have it. I will ask dh how much it costs.

Yes, LP is propane...

I wish our town had natural gas but it's not big enough... Mom and Dad have it where they live and their heating bills are about 1/2 of what mine are...

I know a natural gas appliance (furnace, clothes dryer, water heater) has to be converted to use LP... And it's easy... But I don't know how easy it is to convert heating oil to LP...

I have always lived in places that had natural gas. I can't imagine having to fill a tank and paying a huge amount at once!

Pia, 54 degrees in your house is COLD!

Last month we had one furnace go out (we have two). The fan would come one but no heat just cold air. We have a home warranty and we only had to pay $60 to have it fixed. But we had to wait until the next morning for someone to come. Luckily it wasn't as cold out and it only got down to 62 upstairs. Thedownstairs furnace was still working.

Barb, you win for the coldest temps today! It is supposed to get to 37 tomorrow.

I think there is a big difference in running off of LP vs. fuel for a furnace. When we first put our place in here in 1997 I know that DH had checked into LP as well. At the time there wasn't as much price difference between the gasses. I know he had to change the orfice in the furnace from Natural Gas to fuel, but I'm pretty sure we decided to go that route because changing the furnace around was more expensive. It may have been the cost to get a tank set for LP figured in as well since we already had the fuel tank. If I could remember that far back it would be a miracle, because I can't remember what I did yesterday! lol Id try to blame it on my sinus and ear infection, but you all know already I've lost my mind so why try!

Hoping for a little warmer temps today. I think it was too cold to snow yesterday, and I want my snow!

Good morning!

I just know when I look for gas appliances to look for NG. I only notice NG or LP in the description. I've only ever had NG so I couldn't tell you.

Barb, I think we have all lost our minds!

Our stove came with an orfice for both NG and LP. All DH had to do was change the orfice to LP. Our cook stove runs off of propane. We have 2 100 gallon tanks and when one goes empty we switch to the other and send in a little card for them to come switch the empty out for a full one. We only go through a tank and a little over all year. Dh does a lot of cooking on the grill even in the winter. It has a spot in the garage. We also use the deep fryer out there. lol

We have electric appliances and an oil furnace. Many have natural gas but it is not in our neighborhood. Oh well, I will write the check today.

If you post a pic and we will help you! It's so hard for me to see the pic clearly on my phone so I need a good clear shot!

I got some dishes to do but I'll check back in a little while. The skunks are the only thing I got done today, and they were already cut out! I'm just not in the mood today!

Nothing crafty here, I have been cleaning counters, vacuumed, and did laundry. I am enjoying a quiet day. We have to get ready for karate soon. I have a few items to sew so I dragged my machine out.

I managed to use half of a border set to make a one page LO. They were pictures from 2004! For some reason I printed two sets. I don't know why now.

Didn't you just order pics not too long ago that you had already ordered before? I was thinking that was you, and maybe they were the end of one batch you ordered, and the beginning of the next batch. I've done that before myself.

Yes that was me. But these are different pictures. I ordered these probably 5 years ago!!! I also ordered two of each in the same order, not two different orders. I must have had a reason at the time. Maybe I was going to do a family disney album. Who knows now. LOL

It was only 3 pictures that I printed two sets of. I have a photo album that is empty. I guess all my dups can go in there. LOL

Yeah! that's another album you have to get done now! hehehe

I still haven't worked on Brandi and Charli's anymore. They are only done up to around 3-6 months. Of course I'm only doing their first year or 2 since those pics were in the yucky sticky photo albums. Kaylee's album has a couple pages I need to add, and once I get pics developed of the boys, and Kaylee at the zoo, and Christmas, I will have a few more pages for each of their books. I did already buy albums for both boys though, so I'm started right? hehehe My goal is to get the grandbabies done right after I get the swaps done up I signed up for again, and you know I wasn't swapping anymore! I think if I go to the spring scrapaway with Cindy and Tilly I will just take my girls' books and work on them.

Well hopefully what you get back from the swaps you joined you will be able to use in the babies books.

My kids baby albums are hideous. Of course they were done 10+ years ago when my scrap skills and what tool we had available at the time were crap.

Heading to bead now. Good night!

I think that has a lot to do with me not wanting to get back to them too. The pages I have completed are very simple. I almost want to redo them too! lol

I'm off to bed shortly myself. Goodnight!

I am not re-doing them. DD1's used to be in a "magentic" album. Why do they call them that? I peeled all the pix off at least 14 yrs ago and re-did that album. I am not even sure if I finished re-doing it.

DD2's album I know is not finished and has loose pix and stuff in it.

DS has an album of his first year. It is pretty basic and it has all his cards in the back thatwe got when he was born. All the rest of his pix are in the family album.

It's not our fault we made such crappy pages. All we had were gel pens, decorative scissors and stickers. Even the paper was crappy.

I used to be good about putting all the pictures in albums and getting dupes for scrapping, not so much anymore. My job for this week, before Saturday is to at least sort my 2 boxes of pictures and get them organized in albums and then put them in piles for scrapping. Once they are sorted, dh can put them in albums while he is watching football.

I will never go back and re do a page. As bad as they are, I made them and like them.

When we used to have film and got free dups I would put one set in an album and save the others for scrapping.

I have re-done a few pages but those were 8.5x11 pages and I only put them, as is, on a sheet of 12x12 and added a few embellies etc. I never got the pages into albums and then 8.5x11 went bye-bye and then 12x12 got popular.

I vacummed upstairs and I am contemplating lunch. It has been snowing since 6:30 this morning. I need to clear a path down the driveway in an hour to get dd2 of the bus.

Have lunch then shovel. We had a little snow today, but it is melted now. What a weird winter we are having.

I miss the free prints with film!

Ate lunch, shoveled the driveway but not the walk way to the front door and the side door. I'll do that later.

It has stopped snowing. It only snowed about 2 inches.

I have photo boxes and they have little tab dividers that I list what the pics in the group are on the tab. Of course they didn't have enough tabs, but I knew how to use my crappy paper and scissors to add more. That's the way all my pics are kept, except for the several dozen packs I never did that too, because I ran out of room in my boxes!

I finished my cards for the Ronald McDonald house and got them in the mail today. It seems everything is in order for tomorrow ams court hearing, and Mike still doesn't have an attorney on record so I hope he was dumb enough to think he doesn't need one, better yet, I hope he doesn't show up! We are getting ready to go up and see Brandi and Clayton in a little while. Her van is acting up a little so DH wants to make sure it's ok for her to drive. It was hopefully just bad gas!

I write the year and what is the the photo envie and then put them in the photo box (with no lid of course since they envies are taller than box).

Let's hope dumb a@@ doesn't show up to court!
