Ok I lied and I will be back on! I felt much better so I went to the craft room to clean up a little, and ended up cutting out more shabby vintage bears in different sizes. I kinda lost track of time I believe! LOL

I'm going to bed now and I can probably sleep for 3 hours til DH gets up I hope! Kaylee is still talking in her room! The past few nights she has jabbered half the night. She will be quiet for a while and then she "talks" a little bit and gets quiet again. I'm thinking she's going to be my nighttime scrapping pal when she's a little older! She never fusses to get up though so at least she's trying to sleep! Goodnight...or should I say good morning! LOL

Good Morning! I put a few new pics in my gallery of the cute teddy bear. She looks cute on a gift bag! I finished it around 2am or so.

Ya know, if you stopped scrapping an hour before bed time and read an encyclopia or something super boring you might actually get sleepy!

I hope she gets feeling better quickly! Kaylee was in a toss and turn and talk mode again last night is why I originally decided to clean up the scrap room a little bit. Although, we know how that worked out. Yep, I made a bigger mess! LOL She ate her cereal and had a bottle and went back to sleep about an hour ago. She seems to be resting pretty well so I think I'm going to take a nap too. Charli took Brandi to her doctor appointment today so she could stop and get her paycheck and go to the bank so Grandma and Kaylee will nap while she runs Brandi around. It's a tough job but I think we are up to it! LOL

She finally sat up and is leaning against me. My lower intestines appreciate that she moved!

Wow, being a grandma is a tough job! Good thing you quit working! LOL

It's been a couple hours just wondering how DD is doing....

Being a Grandma is a tough job but it's worth it! I love playing toys, feeding her, watching her learn new things, and of course the naps too! I keep hoping the insomnia will go away soon! Sometimes it sticks around longer than other times so I guess I just roll with it as usual. At least with not working I can take a nap if I need to.

Hi all, I only have a minute. Weigh in went well, down 1.6, very happy! I wore my smaller pants and they are a very little bit big. I need to buy a belt.

My mother's cake is just about done, I need to make pink frosting to write on it. My niece helped, it is a beauty!

I just need to get a little cleaning and straightening done before 3

Kaitlyn has a fever over 101. I gave her motrin almost an hour ago and it hasn't helped. She is sitting on the couch and her eyelids keep drooping and she won't lie down and take a nap or anything.

can you give her tylenol too? I think I remember when one of my girls were younger that the doctor had me give them tylenol after the motrin for a stubborn temp that wouldn't go down. Don't just take my word though because I could be wrong on that check with her doctor. If I recall what they told me was they are dif kinds of pain relievers and they had me give the motrin first because tylenol could be added if needed.....

If motrin is every 6 hours, then at 3 hours, you can give tylenol... So basically they are getting one or the other every 3 hours...

Hopefully she starts to feel better soon, or at least takes a nap for ya... Riley's been running a temp the past couple days but I'm just blaming it on shots he got at his 3 year check-up on Wednesday...

We don't have any Tylenol except the prescription kind with codeine in it!

She had a flu shot back in Oct or Nov so I don't know if she caught the flu or a milder form or a different flu altogether.

The motrin finally kicked in and brought it down to the 99's.

I'm glad to see it kicked in! I have to go with DH after work and I just stole the computer long enough to check on DD. I have to give it back to Charli now!

Well DD2 is back in bed after a potty incident an hour ago! She didn't feel hot and I didn't take her temp. She was out like a log all night. I think she even slept in the same position all night!

I hope her fever is gone.

Our nephew that lived with us got pulled over last night with expired license, (he didn't realize he had to change his address so never got the renewal) no tail lights, and an inspection that ran out the end of March. DH got his tail lights fixed last night for him, and he's taking the car to get it inspected this am and his license renewed at online notary service. Thankfully the officer was nice and just fined him for the license. Poor kid usually has the worst luck, but last night he had at least a little good luck in the fines department!

Yesterday I also noticed our addition roof was leaking! Oh great! It's just what we needed, more work to do! I was hoping the next priority would be the steps to the upstairs of the garage! I have a toddler bed, and 2 single beds that were my grandparents in the addition that I would like to move to the upstairs of the garage so when we rearrange rooms for new baby I don't end up with them in my new scraproom, which is currently the storage room!

Instead of the farm auction first thing this am DH made a run for the supplies he needs for the new roof. That way if we have decent weather tomorrow we can replace the roof. He will go to the auction after he gets the roofing supplies, and his wallet will be a lot skinnier! At least I shouldn't have to worry about him buying a tractor today, probably just misc. machinery & goobers! LOL - gotta laugh to avoid screaming because my budget just got smaller for Monday's shopping trip with the girls too!

I think I needs therapy in the craft room today! That is - right after I take a nap....long stressful and restless night without any sleep at all. Kaylee went back to bed after she ate, Charli is working until 2, and I didn't let Kaylee make too much noice that she woke Eric when she got up. I figure someone might as well get to sleep in a little bit today, and he looked beat last night! The commute to classes everyday has to take a lot out of him!

Talk to you all later!

Oh no! Your poor nephew. That was nice of the cop to cut him a break.

Do you have to replacee the entire roof of the addition or can't you just fix where the leak is?

That sucks that your craft room is now the storage room. You definitely need some crafty time today!

The storage room is 10X10 so it's still plenty big for me to scrap in! Charli is leaving her stuff in the old scrap room I guess - that will be their new bedroom. So, it's not all that bad! The whole addition is 10X20 and DH is just putting a rubber roof on it. That should last for years. The angle isn't steep enough on the roof to shingle it so it has a rolled roofing shingle type roof that we have already replaced once since we built it in 2000 or so. It's just easier to do the rubber roofing we should never have to replace it again. It's on the back of the house and 10 ft from the woodsline so i dont care if he tar and feathers it because no one will ever see it, except deer and squirrels...possibly the occasional bear. I just don't want to have to replace it again so we are putting the extra in to the solid rubber roofing. Okay - now that I have had 5 phone calls and 2 visitors....I am taking a nap before Kaylee wakes up!

I hope everyone has a good day! I am on a boy scout trip so my son can work on his nuclear science merit badge. The afternoon trip is ppd, so I should have time to craft. I have 2 swaps due may 1 and need to get moving.

Have fun with the boy scouts!

The fever festival is back! Even though it is back up to 101 she is more alert. I hope that is a good sign!

Yes, it's a zoo at my house! The farm auction that DH is at is just down the road where the auctioneer lives. He has a consignment auction every spring at his farm. The vehicles park along the road up past our house and just as far the other way. We have people that we know parked in our driveway and by the barn. I hate this day every year! I keep the door locked and look out everytime I hear a door to make sure no one is taking one of our vehicles! It really is crazy the amount of people his sale draws, especially since every year it's a mudbath to walk through! It's always super wet until after his sale.

Oh that stinks! Keep us posted!

I think Kaylee is getting a cold or some kind of bug too! She's sneezing and her little eye is watering and her nose a bit too. She has spit 3 or 4 times in the past 20 minutes but I'm not quite sure if it's that or an upset tummy. She's smiling and happy through it all so it's kind of hard to tell!

My girlfriend and I had daisy, brownie, junior, and cadette senior girl scout troops. She still does but I'm not involved any more. When Kaylee gets older if she wants to join Grandma will start over again! LOL Anyways, we took our girls on trips everywhere! We also, out of our pocket, bought the girls a fun patch for every event or outing for on the back of their sash or vest. These girls have layers of patches tabbed over top of each other! We then decided we would get ourselves a patch for each trip and sew on the back of our denim Girl scout shirts. We quit that after a year and a half because we were out of room! Every time I see you went somewhere for scouts I think about that. I bet your shirt would be pretty full too! Of course I still have mine...just in case Kaylee wants to be a scout I'm prepared!

He has a sash for all his merit badges. Scouts covers the patches so we don't have to pay. I have been trying to keep everything so when he reaches Eagle Scout I will be ready! They have a display board at the ceremonies we have been to.

I really wanted to go to the afternoon field trip. It was to the National Park in Lowell, there are mills, a barge, etc. I know I could go any time, I think I will make it a goal to get there this summer. For years I drove past Shaker Village on the way to my parents cottage I finally went in 2 years ago. It was so cool. The kids were a little bored though.

I am looking at a Disney cruise for next year, they are going to start going out of New York.

ok guys honest opinion does he look dumb in blue and brown with pink accents? He looks very soft up close but pic is kinda crappy. I'm just not sure about a "vintage" bear pattern in this color....

DD1 has been in girl scouts since 1st grade. I did the brownie leader thing. I am embarrassed tom say that some of her patches from the last few yrs haven't made it onto her vest! I need to do that before we move so they don't get lost. I still have my gs sash!
