It is great to have everyone so close. My bf offered to keep the kids too, so it hasn't been that bad. I miss talking to them everyday. Just a few to go. It is raining here. Nicko was up early and the bus came at 6:35 as usual. Lucas is still sound asleep. Thomas starts next week.
I hope to have some craft time today, I am not sure if I have to get my niece. She has a kindergarten meeting today. My sister is going but has to get back to work. She was going to try to get her friend to get her so I don't have to drag Lucas everywhere.
Is her bus supposed to come that early? We plan on 6:35 so it was right on schedule. Thomas is excited he starts next Tuesday. Lucas is a little better, we are heading to see his classroom at 3, after all the kids are gone.
Don't you hate all the paperwork on the first day of school?
Well he has all year to think about what he wants to do and where he wants to go. That's good he is still working. Katrina said she tried to find a job on campus but they all have specific requirements. I think they hire a lot of grad students.
His mother had lung cancer as well. We just got home from a wake for dh's neighbor. He had alzheimers and was getting worse.
We had a good day before that. We had a bday party for my father, he turns 70 tomorrow. He had a bbq at his house, nothing fancy which he enjoys. I went to a yard sale at the lss to help a few friends. I only spent $3.50 on stamsp for my niece. So I am pretty happy not to add to my huge amounts of stuff. Now it is just getting ready for the week. I am only working Monday and Thursday so it will be good!
I need to figure out what I want to do with my extra day off. It is my birthday! I have dinner plans that I wouldn't get home for if I worked. This is a crazy week with karate, scouts, open houses, dr. visits etc. Not sure how we will get it all done. I finished the sbps so I didn't get to my own stuff. Now I have to work on borders for my swaps
I dug out another Disney LO from a swap. That box has been out since I scored on finding The Cars LO. I need to work on it a little more. I feel like it is missing something! I need to start going through these swap lo's!
Don't pass out but I was looking for ideas and remembered this site. So I popped in to say hello. I really miss reading about how every-1 is doing. I finally signed up for one swap. Christmas tags. I'm doing okay.
The cool weather is moving in too fast.
My big project right now is helping put together a 12 x 12 scrapbook on the Chesterfield County Fair for them. I sure wish I knew how to make border better. I have a sizzex so I might figure that out.I will pop in more often to see how everybody is doing. Hugs to all Judy

Nancy, sounds like a good weekend. We went here today Monkey Trunks Extreme. It was a BLAST! Of course it was raining the whole time and we were soaked at the end, but it was still huge fun.
My niece is 6 now. My oldest niece will be 21 in January. Then Thomas is 19, Nicko 13, my nephew will be 9 in Oct, then Lucas turns 8 in Dec and the youngest niece is 6. Thom has 3 nieces ranging in age 14-17.
