I took myself to Applebee's last night for supper since Ed had his monthly men's ministry meeting. (I did the curbside to go thing.) I didn't realize that I used my Oceanic Airlines pen to sign the debit receipt until the waitress asked if I was a LOST fan. I told her I was and she said she was, too. Her son's name is Sawyer!

Thankfully it was small enough that Dad was able to pin it down with a tool and stomp it's head since he didn't have anything else handy to kill it with, but still. *shudder*
OH Dear Lord! I would pass out!

If it's venomous, it dies. Inside. Outside. Doesn't matter. End of story.
I'll catch and release lizards and crickets that I find in the house. Spiders usually get squished unless they are tiny. I'll let the tiny ones live in peace. The cat usually catches bugs before I find them, so they don't stand a chance. I managed to get a baby gecko away from her the other night and set it free. I'm not sure if it was injured or just in shock, but I set if free anyway. Hopefully it recovered enough to scurry to safety before something else came along to eat it.
As the poor thing staggers away
Yeah, Riley likes to catch flying bugs. It's truly a sight.
Once up in Maine he caught a fly but promptly spit it out. Can you imagine how that fly felt?
All wet & soggy, totally confused and humiliated
I kill ants with great pleasure. It makes me insane!

Just means she did the sections, where you kind of weave the end of a comb thru the section so you are only dying bits of the hair not an all over color, the little chunks with color are wrapped in foil or paper to keep the dye off the other chunks
Yuck. I hope it's something simple. Do you get warning signs for THE pain?
Not really...it is slow to come on sometimes and sometimes it slams me...I don't think this is The pain...I'm worried about an ulcer now, I have felt weird when I eat then hungry soon after for about a month now

Anyone around? I have just a few minutes before I have to start supper. We're having tacos tonight. Or I guess I should say UNK is having tacos tonight. I'm having taco salad. Kinda' hard to have tacos when you can't have tortillas (flour or corn). *sigh*

Hai guys! Glad to get some good news from a LOSTie sister
I WAS feeling better until yesterday. I had gone back to work and I was still coughing and out of breath, but not as much. I finished the steroid pack the DR gave me.
Yesterday afternoon, I had that same pain in my chest like it felt like I ate something that didn't go down and then broke out in hives again and this time it spread to my face and my eyes were all swollen. Went back to my DR today and got a steroid shot. I have to see an allergist on Friday to hopefully find out why this keeps happening.
I started watching Hoarders on Netflix yesterday. OH. EM. GEE. Some of those folks are beyond disgusting and some of them are just sad. Gave me the heebie jeebies. I just can't imagine having that much carp in my house! I have my share of junk and a couple of overcrowded closets, but my house is pristine compared to that! I told my mom this afternoon that she can never say anything about my "junk" ever again! LOL!

Hey Aly! I am sorry that you aren't feeling well again and that something caused you to flare up in hives and get all swollen. HUGS!!! I hope you get things figured out, hon!
Suz - Mmmmmm TACOS sound delish! But Rich isn't home tonight for dinner, so Jax and I are about to go downstairs and enjoy some cereal and a nice warm batch of chocolate chip cookies! I think we will do tacos tomorrow night.
Oh and I have seen quite a few episodes of Hoarders, my MIL loves that show. OY! It makes me so depressed I can't watch it. I don't get it. I mean, I guess it is somewhat of a sickness...but wow! I just can't handle watching it. But yeah, I understand how it makes you feel like your house and the things you "hoard" not a problem at all. LOL!

What.a.day. Had an angry donor that I had to deal with and fix the issue that made her mad in the first place. And then had another issue come up that I can't even really explain without making it long-winded, but I don't know what to do about it. This all on top of the regular work that was already stressing me out, plus back to back meetings, and I feel like I got nothing done today!
The good news is - our trip to Orlando is officially booked! We bought our plane tickets and Maria booked the timeshare (only $219 for 7 nights!) and I booked our rental car. I just need to buy my tickets for Disney and the HP park tonight and we're good to go!
sorry about the angry donor, but yahoo on booking your trip to Orlando. We are taking Brandon there for his next b-day because he is a HUGE Harry Potter fan. You will have to tell me how it was.
I'm sorry about the rough night and that you can't stay awake. Have you had some caffeine yet?
Gage was up at 4:45 talking this morning. I kept thinking that he would fall back to sleep, but he didn't. When I went in to get him ready he had his eyes closed. I was talking to him, and he smiled so sweetly with his eyes still closed. It was so cute! I luff him!
I'm just glad I made it to my dentist appt on time. Just a check up. I've been having some tooth pain, I think from grinding at night. I wanted to talk to my dentist about that.
Good and bad news. I know why it hurts sometimes. I apparently have a root fracture on a tooth with a crown. GRRRR!!! This is my stupid voodoo tooth. I've already had 2 crowns on it. I have an implant.
This means another trip to the periodontist. I don't know how they will fix it. I may lose it altogether and get another type of implant. I don't know if I'll need another bone graft or not. Pray for my mouth that I don't have to go that far. Dang that surgery was painful.
How in the world I'll get through this or how long it will take to get a normal tooth back is unknown. My dentist suggested that they'll have to make me a temporary retainer thing. WTH??? I don't want to be toothless! It works on kids, not so much for adults.

I made Quinoa Caprese (Well, sort of...I just kind of made it up!)

Really gross, huh? Lately I've been deleting it from my DVR. I can't seem to bring myself to watch it.

My husband...bless his heart. He forgot my birthday was today. <sigh>
He's not so great at holidays and birthday. But pretty good most of the time, so I can't complain. Yesterday when I said something about not wanting leftovers tonight or not cooking tonight he looked at me so strange.
Then he started wracking his brain trying to figure out what that meant. He says outloud "tomorrow is Thursday...?" Like, what have I forgotten. Then he had to look at his watch to check the date. HELLO!
I sat there and stared while he tried to figure it out. OMG! Men!
