I understand. I thought about that myself. This new lifestyle of mine is way too expensive, even with free drinks and food! I don't know if I'm quite ready to take the plunge, especially with the internet, but it is tempting! I am definitely going to cancel HBO next week after True Blood is over. It's only $15/month, but every little bit helps.
I am so looking forward to Boardwalk Empire though, the new show on HBO starting the 19th. Boo. I don't really want to do it, but, I really should.
I think helping with the yard is the least Kevin can do. He did not treat you very well over the past year and has a lot of making up to do for that in my opinion.
I'm sorry about your job. I know what you mean about feeling bad when you mess up. I may be a procrastinator and spend too much time chatting here, but I pride myself on doing a good job and hate when I make a mistake.
It's not that I feel bad for asking for his help, as far as I am concerned he got off easy in our divorce and he owes it to me, and I consider it part of my spousal support.
It just makes me feel a little odd to rely on him now that things are steady with Ron. When I was just seeing him casually, I didn't care. But he's my boyfriend now. Which Kevin is perfectly aware of, I have told him about Ron (only because he asked if I was seeing anyone and I said if you really want to know I will tell you).

I don't know. It's silly - but there you go.
I can understand that. Maybe if things get more serious with Ron, he can be mowing your lawn for ya. And just as I typed this I realized I am driving the GB!
Has anyone heard of sugaring? Apparently it's a slightly less painful, but equally effective, form of waxing. Maria was telling us about it so I think she and I might go in a few weeks.
Vinny chimed in that a woman with a Brazilian is very sexy. We may have crossed to a new level of friendship with him last night!
calls to remind me to make an appointment for Brandon to go to Dr to get the wart removed from his finger and for his yearly checkup. Wants me to make a Dr appt Thursday. Hello it's Rosh Hashanah, a religious holiday!!! He replies, "So, we don't do anything in the afternoon after services". I replied that just because his family doesn't observe the holiday (his mother was so proud to tell us she plans on working Thursday and Friday) doesn't mean that we don't and I am not making an appointment for him to go to Dr on Rosh Hashanah. He replies, "So when do we have time to go?" *****HOLE!!!
ICK, the steroids taste sooooo bitter. BLECH!!! However it has made me feel better. Hope I can go to services tomorrow and Friday. The Rabbi called me before to see how I was doing as well as a member from the Chesed comittee. The Chesed committe is a committee from the synagogue who will set up meals and come over to visit and do things for sick people. I assured them both I was fine and thanked them for calling. I know it was due to the new President of the Synagogue who is a friend of ours, he is on Glenn's softball team and I worked with his wife in the preschool. We went to dinner at their house a few weeks ago for Shabbat and when she heard I was sick called right away to see how I was doing and invited Glenn and the boys over for dinner tonight (she invited me too, but knows I am sick and can't make it). They are such lovely people and I was so thrilled when I heard he was President. He is also good friends with my boss and helped us a lot and has done a lot of work for the Preschool in us getting our license.
One of my friends from church had major flooding in her house today. About 4 FEET of muddy water and debris mixed in. We drove by the park that backs up to their house and the creek that runs through it was just flowing.
Most everything has been damaged--clothes, furniture, photo albums.
I am so depressed that I don't have LOST to look forward to this Fall. Who was it that suggested we pick a night and watch LOST from the beginning. Great idea. Who is in?

BEEP BEEP!!! LOL!
He's got an acre of his own to manage. Plus he lives further away, and I don't want to take away from our fun time for him to help me with mowing.

Yeah but that show The Event looks really good. Maybe it will fill the void!
Seriously though, I only see him once a week, maybe twice here and there, which is perfect, but it ain't gonna be spent mowing my lawn! LOL! Unless it's gutter bus mowing!!!!

UGH, that's awful!

It's not silly. I can totally understand that. But, I think as long as Ron is ok with your ex-husband coming over to help out, then take advantage of Kevin's help as much as you can!

OMG! I am SO in. I love this idea. Plus...it will take me a while to get to the last season (which is the only one I don't have on DVD yet).

Love it. Now instead of golfing we have lawn mowing going on.

So, as you can tell by my spamming....I've finally gotten my head in place so I could come visit. I suck. I really do. I'm finally getting the kids settled into a school routine (which is really tough with ADHD boy) and I've been working on the last of my training for my big ride this weekend. I so wish I could do the 100 miles as part of a relay. Anyone want to ride 10 miles for me?

Anyone around? It looks like Tracy, Jess, Aly, and Cindy might be here. Maybe.
Sorry Jus! I got sidetracked with showering, laundry, dinner, dishes, and catching up with one of my college roommates. And texting to set up plans with Mr. Bevie. Blech.
