I see my gastro Tuesday for a scope and am still waiting for an appointment with the obgyn. I told them that we had to get it done by the end of the year. I think they will want to do it sooner rather than later but with the holidays coming not sure how quick they can get me scheduled. I would like to put it off until after Christmas, but not sure they will want to .

Keep us posted, okay? I am praying for you, and will pray specifically for the surgery, too. With all you've been through already, this must seem like the final straw. Will pray that this helps resolve all of the health issues and that you'll soon be feeling much much better!
TinaMarie, my prayers for you started as soon as I read your post. I feel so badly that you are having to deal with another medical problem.
Boy, you sure do vent quickly - lol! You must be a very strong woman to deal with all of this. We'll pray for complete healing of your mind, body and spirit!
I'm here for you, also. If you ever just want an ear or a shoulder, PM me and I'll send you my phone number. Please keep us posted on how you are getting along.
Hugs and prayers to you!
Oh...sorry to hear of your upcoming surgery, Tina Marie...yes...prayers all the way around for you, your family, and your surgeon.
My upline's swap was great fun last Friday! We made a gift card holder using the SU Stocking die...mmmm...and we made a place card turkey out of a lollie/rosette made out of Spice Cake DSP.
Had a Longaberger party tonight, a vendor event for most of the day tomorrow, PLUS a basket Binga on Sunday...way top crazy this weekend!!
You girls are ahead of me on the Christmas card making, I've got the card in my head--just need to start in on it. Plus I've got to get everything ready for my Christmas tag event the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
Wow...these holidays are getting here...and FAST!!! Have a great stamping weekend everyone!
Good Morning Ladies! Hope everyne has a wonderful day! Thank you so much for your prayers and thoughts. I will keep everyone posted once I have more information.
I was able to get more of my Christmas cards finished last night! Only about to go and I will have reached my goal! Going to try to get my outside lights up today and decorate the porch. (Well, I should say that my son is going to! I will just tell him what to do!)
Wow...I'll be glad to go back to work tomorrow so I can REST. Fun weekend, very hectic weekend! At least it's a short work week, as I get Friday off too. Now, to get the cleaning done before that cute little granddaughter of mine comes on Saturday. I hope everyone will get a chance to stamp this week...started on some Christmas card ideas--I need to get it narrowed down. Have a great Monday everyone!
I wanted to share our wonderful new with my Illinois Stamping Friends!
Our youngest daughter and her husband (30) are pregnant with twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a very long road for them to get here and they wanted to wait until 12 weeks to make the official announcement public. We knew back in Mid-October.
We're so very excited and feel so very blessed! The kids are thrilled! Grammy (me) gets to go hear the babys' heartbeats at our daughter's Dr.'s appt. this morning as her husband has a meeting.
I sincerely pray that you all are as blessed as we feel!
I got an appointment with the OBGYN tomorrow! I couldn't believe they got me in so fast! So, I have the scope tomorrow morning and will probably schedule the surgery in the afternoon. Hopefully they will let me hold off till I get done Christmas shopping. When I called for the appt, the receptionist said that they were expecting my call and Dr wanted to see me ASAP.. I am amazed at the service, but kinda worried at the same time. I can't even get into my family doc that fast! I keep telling myself that it is probably just because of my history and NOT what showed up on the CT scan. I guess I wont have to wait long to find out.
I managed to get 5 more cards done tonight! Only about 10 to go! I also got some (most) of my Christmas decorations up yesterday. My daughter will be home tomorrow for break and she already told me that she was cleaning the house for dinner onThursday. Love that kid!
Have a great night everyone..Thanksgiving Blessings to you all!
TinaMarie, my thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow morning! They could be getting you in so quickly because of the upcoming long holiday weekend, too. Try to think positive thoughts! Please let us know how you make out when you get a minute. Your darling daughter sounds like a real gem!
I hope you sleep well tonight! God's blessings to you.
Thanks to you, Pat and Jeanettte for the congrats! I went with our daughter today just for a regular sonogram and visit with her Dr. I got to hear the baby's heartbeats and see them moving around. How special and miraculous that was! We cracked up at one point as one baby seemed to be kicking the other one! My, that sibling tussling around starts early!
Loretia - how exciting! That is just a wonderful sound isnt it? Listening to the heart beat of new life!
My scope went well today. They took different biopsies and I won't have results until next week. (on my stomach) I was on my way to the gyn appointment when they called to tell me that he had to leave for an emergency so that appointment has nowbeen moved to Monday morning. So, back to the waiting. I really think that is the hardest part!
Well, I am off to try and finish Christmas cards tonight! Have a wonderful evening Ladies!
Tina Marie, I'm sorry you have to wait until Monday until your gyn appt. and then wait again for test results. I swear that seems to be the name of the game in mecidine - hurry up and wait! Unfortunately, I'm sure you're well acquainted with this drill. I'm glad the scope is done and that it went well.
We'll all be excited to hear that all your test results come back A-OKAY!
How did the housecleaning go for your DD? Does she hire out - lol!
Good morning ladies! I haven't posted for awhile but I've been checking in regularly, just keeping busy! So much to do this time of year anyway, plus my husband's birthday last week and my birthday next week! I can tell I'm getting older because our parents still want to have individual "parties" for both of us but I'm just like let's get this over with, I've got 101 things to get done. On the other hand, it is nice so I'll take it for now =)
We've got an early out at school today so that means no pre-k kids! The teacher and I finally get sometime to work in the room doing something other than chasing kids. hehe Looking forward to getting to come home early and finishing up my Christmas cards! Glad I started back in August, I knew I'd be busy now and wouldn't be able to get it all done so now just the finishing touches.
Better get going, never thought I'd be so excited for a day of cleaning and paperwork at work!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!! Hope you get a little stamping in this weekend! I worked last night with my friend creating water bottle hang tags that will hold a packet of drink mix in them. Great fun and plenty of laughs...that's what sharing the "stampin' bug" is all about!
A few Black Friday sales, but not much as I'm not real big on crowds. My son said it was crazy in Springfield. No decorations up yet, Loretia, but plenty of baby kisses from my granddaughter before she left today. It was a quiet house after that!
Yes, TinaMarie, good luck on your surgery tomorrow. I'll pray for swift healing and the Dr.'s knowledge to do what is best for you.
Worked on stamp stuff today after the kids left. The Christmas tag party is finally here...Yay!! And I need to get my Stampin Up Extravaganza Sale order in. We've got great specials from 30 to 60% off through Nov. 30th. Search for me, Pat Titus, in Illinois...shopping is SO much easier on the couch!! lol...Plus I have two Operation Write Home events on Saturday and another one next Monday...
I actually got quite a few black Friday deals! Some for myself and the majority of my Christmas shopping done!
My birthday is this Friday so it's my family's tradition to not do any decorating until the 3rd, so no tree up yet, but the hubby and I did some deep cleaning and rearranging of furniture in preparation! Don't get too jealous, the hubby mostly just joined in because the more he helped the faster it got done which meant he got my desk for "the computer of all computers" he and my brother are building and I had to put my trusty Dell in the closet until I can stand to get rid of it.
No worries, getting rid of the desk just made room for all the new jetmax cubes I got this weekend as an early birthday present! I can FINALLY get all my stamp/scrap/craft supplies organized. I'm so unbelievably pumped to finally begin creating my own crafting space rather than moving from here to there to wherever I might find a free area. I've got 4 out of 5 assembled and am itching for Christmas to finally get here so I can get another 5 (maybe 7)!
Good luck TinaMarie, will say a prayer for you tonight!
Time for me to head to bed, I let myself stay up a little late tonight looking at cards because I have a funeral to go to in the morning so I'll get to sleep in a bit. Always a silver lining right?
Good morning, Jeanette and all!
We got the house all decorated this weekend and it looks pretty & cozy - if I do say so myself. It's clean, too - hallelujah!
I didn't think the Black Friday sales were as busy as some years. I did find a few bargains. It's always fun to go out with our daughters even if we don't buy much!
We have found lots of the bigger baby items our kids registered for on sale for pretty good prices; so, we've been buying shower/baby gifts now. Between the store & internet shopping I feel like this Grandma got run over by a reindeer! It's fun, though!
Pat, I'm glad you got lots of baby kisses!!!! I know they aren't enough to tide you over until the next visit, though - lol!
Jen, your new stamping area sounds wonderful! I can see why you're excited. That's a neat tradition to help keep your birthday special by not putting the tree up until afterwards. Happy Birthday early!
I need to work on getting my stamping "mojo" back! I haven't made cards for Operation Write Home in about 3 weeks. I just need to give myself a jump start - maybe I'll browse the gallery here for ideas!
Good evening Ladies! Thank you for all of the prayers, but, unfortunately my appointment withthe gyn had to be moved tothe 12th. My Dr. is sick so a prayer for him would be great too! I do see my gastro tomorrow and he will give me the biopsy results from last Tuesday so keep your fingers crossed.
We are done decorating. If you count the 3 trees on my proch and the little ones on stands and such, we have 10 trees up! Only 2 have decoratons and 5 lights though. I love decorating for Christmas and can never wait to get it done! I was finished before Thanksgiving! All of my Christmas cards are out (unless I get one from someone I didn't send to)
I got a few good deals on Black Friday, actually I feel like I shopped everyday from Thursday thru Sunday! I am not even close to being done though! I hope to finish this weekend so I know I am done before surgery.
Hope everyone has a great week. I will try to report after my appointment tomorrow!
Thank you all so much for the prayers! It means so much! Tina
Hi, girls!! Christmas tag party tonight...I hope my friend's guests will enjoy the evening. I packed up last night...and...I believe I left the kitchen sink at home, but I have a TON of stuff...using different colors of cardstock, different techniques, and different embellishments too...Yowsa...I packed alot!!
Hi Ladies! Had a fairly good report from the Dr today. The biopsies came back good! YEAH!! He said that I have alot of bile reflux but that there really wasn't a good treatment for it I asked him if he could preform the surgery to remove the ovary adn tumors but he said that he would feel more comfortable with my going to the gyn for that since that is what he specializes in. He said that there is just too large a chance they are going to find cancer. It scares me to death! I keep tellling myself that until it is out and tested there is no real way of knowing if it is cancer or not! Unfortunately, they did the CA 125 blood test and it came back very elevated. I guess I will have to wait until the 12th to see the gyn and schedule surgery. Please keep praying. Not only for good results, but that I don't lose my mind before we can actually find out!
Well, now that I have given all of the bad news...I saw a snowman box on here that was made by Toy. Absolutely adorable! I made one for my MIL for her birthday! They are the most adorable things ever! If you get a change check her out. Well,I am off here to see what I can acomplish tonight.
Location: In the Forest with my Forest Friends, of course!
Tina Marie, it's good to see you this evening. Thank you for coming here and updating us. I feel for you; waiting is horrible... and the agony of wondering what you'll find out. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! Huge hugs, my friend!
I'd love to see this snowman box you made... any chance of you posting a picture? I don't know how to find Toy to check her out.
I would take a picture of the one I made, but I already gave it away! I am going to try to make one using a lt tan with burgandy for a friend of mine to see how it turns out. I will take a picture of that one tomorrow when it is finished but her's is so much better than mine anyway! Enjoy!
