Thanks! I think we're all better. This day has started in a much calmer fashion already.

Oh my word ... what a day.

Woke up with a start this morning. Jaydin was fussing because she couldn't find her earring back and her ear was hurting. I got up to look at it and found the earring back .... IN the earring hole. (it was one of the little rubber backs) So, we headed out to immediate care as soon as we got everything ready for the day. As I was getting ready, one of my adult leaders in iQuest FB messaged me and said that she had a sick child and she wasn't going to be at church tonight. She's the leader of the 3s and 4s class - and had done no preparation to have things ready if someone else had to take over. Argh.

On the way out the door ... Jonah had a nose bleed.....

The doctor was very nice, and he got the back out very quickly. That went ok, and we headed to get my mom.

We went to lunch and Toys R Us. I dropped Mom off at Macy's, and I went to get my hair trimmed. Last time (only a month ago), the girl didn't cut it short enough around the cow-lick I have in the back, and it was really, really wonky. I also had the girl help me with a style that would be cute for formal night. It's combed back on top and spikey in the back. That turned out really well.

When I came out of getting my hair done (the kids stayed in the truck by choice), Jonah had a gushing nose bleed. ARGH!!!! Got that cleaned up and went to get Mom. Dropped by Office Depot to get business card paper and magnet sheets to make some things for Mark's deacon families (he just decided TODAY that he wanted to do those .... BEFORE we leave.

Then, we hit WalMart. While there, another adult leader (the leader of the Kindergarten group) called and said that her son was running a fever. Thankfully, she had everything done for the night and dropped it off at the church for the other workers.

While in Sam's, ANOTHER adult leader called and said that she had bronchitis. She asked if I had heard from one of the leaders in her class (she works in the 1st-2nd grade group) because the other leader is not dependable. I told her no, so she said she was going to still come. I told her that she needed to take care of herself and stay home, but she insisted on coming. She called a little while later (after supper) and said that her mom (has cancer) wasn't doing well and that she needed to stay with her. I hope she was able to rest and feel better while she helped her mom!

The adult leader she asked about didn't come, either ... nor did the preschool coordinator (who is paid to be there....). I found out about the preschool coordinator as I was gathering supplies for the 3s and 4s to use in their class.

So ... it was a very, very chaotic night to say the very least.
wow after a day like that you need to climb into a nice warm bubble bath and relax.

it was Fun!

Went to visit a friend for coffee, yesterday morning, got a text from Steph she wsnt feeling good, picked her up from school, she slept all afternoon.

I got to working on Codys quilt, got it all quilted and was working on the binding when, hubby says "are you almost finished cause your sewing machine is annoying"

So I guess I will finish it this morning. Making dinner for our duck hunters from Illinios, they leave for home this afternoon, drive 24 straight hours to get home, crazy just to come shoot some ducks, if you ask me

Horses and tack are clean. Everything is sitting out for tomorrow morning. I think I'm more nervous for Jaydin than she is for herself!!!

Oh!! She's going to ride in the 'costume' class, too.... she's going to wear that awesome Rapunzal dress on a white horse. I'll take her hair down for that one and let it flow like the horse's mane and tail.

SNOWFLAKES?!?! Yikes!!!! The weather people here keep trying to freak us out by warning us we're going to have a really horrible winter. I just decided that they're as wrong as they usually are, and keep changing the channel.....

Pretty 'blah' day here, don't know what's up with me. Hope I'm back to normal here tomorrow....

Joey's been after me for a couple of weeks because his moon remote (the moon lights up, and goes through the different phases of the moon before it shuts off after about 5 minutes) needed batteries because it wouldn't work. And it needed AAA, which we were out of. When we were at the grocery store tonight, I finally remembered to get the batteries. Put them in the remote when we got home....and the moon still didn't work. It was the moon that needed batteries, AA batteries that we already had. Why didn't I think of that weeks ago? Oh well, the moon works again, mission accomplished. lol

Last night I took Joey to the zoo about half an hour away, they have a Zoo Boo every year. Different companies from the area host booths where the kids trick or treat, they can see some of the animals (some are kept indoors all winter or hibernate), and they can ride the train. For the Zoo Boo, a couple of farmers bring their tractors and trailers for hay rides. They also have an area where the kids can play different games for a prize, sort of like a mini carnival. Joey loves it. I decided to go last night because it was in the mid 70's yesterday, so it was awesome last night. I brought a sweatshirt for each of us, which we didn't even need. Usually we freeze and can't wait to get to the car, lol. Today it was back to reality and the 50's. I'm so glad we were able to make it while it was nice outside.

got home not too long ago busy day...fun evening but lots of driving.. Went to dinner at some friends from church... they built an outside brick pizza oven in their yard...Her husband built it during a summer and she flew to San Fran and took a 2 week bread cooking course...

they fixed pizzas for us that were yummy yummy yummy..I told DH he needed to build us one...his wife makes artisan breads to sell at a farmers market...Yum...

Might not be such a good idea to build one because I would definitely not be losing weight...

Lucky you to have such yummy sounding pizza! Yum! I think I shouldn't have one either, for the same reason, lol. How neat that she makes bread to sell at the farmers market, I bet she's got a popular booth.

A whole lot of nothing is going on here....but I need to be busy. I need to get the tops of Joey's paper coffins cut out, so he can emboss a spider web on the top with one of my embossing folders. I meant to have it done by now....At least the time consuming part is all done (cutting out all of the coffins and lids and scoring and folding and glueing them). Hopefully I can get started on this sometime soon.

Game 3 of the World Series is on tonight...we're down 2-0....not really looking forward to the game tonight but I'll be watching it anyway. Hopefully being in front of a home crowd will have them (the Tigers) remember that they were the ALCS champs....

Oh!! She's going to ride in the 'costume' class, too.... she's going to wear that awesome Rapunzal dress on a white horse. I'll take her hair down for that one and let it flow like the horse's mane and tail.
Good luck to her!! Take pictures of the Rapunzel outfit, that is look amazing, her hair is so beautiful

I agree... that's nuts.
She seems to be doing better, took a few days to work what ever it was out.

That sounds very fun!

Might not be such a good idea to build one because I would definitely not be losing weight...

Cold windy snowy today, staying in where it is warm.

Got Codys quilt finished yesterday, took my pictures, and will post them on my blog later this week. Posted a couple of cards I made this morning.

Re-arranged my bedroom, brought in a couple of antiques item that came from the old house.

Going to start sewing a few little mini quilts. For the twins again, but for their dolls this time, they are going to be the same as theirs.
